This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. It consists of two buildings, A and B. We requested a room in building A because we planned on frequenting the pool and gym. The staff at check-in accommodated all our requests, giving us a room with twin beds (instead of the double bed we mistakenly booked) in building A on the 20th floor. The room was incredibly spacious (and this was the hotel's smallest room type!), with a fantastic view of Bangkok from the 20th floor window. The room had everything we needed: quality toiletries and even a scale in the bathroom; comfortable beds, plenty of hangers in the closet, and, most importantly for me, a washing machine! In Thailand's hot climate, this is an absolute necessity (and a real pleasure to wear clean clothes every day). Laundry detergent was among the daily replenished consumables. We also received two bottles of drinking water daily.

Another undeniable advantage of the hotel (and a constant source of my delight) is the pool and gym. The pool is large, 25 meters long, perfect for proper swimming, not just splashing around. It's open from 6:00 AM to midnight, which is very convenient for early morning swimmers before breakfast, like myself. The gym is well-equipped and open 24/7. Towels for the pool and gym, and drinking water, were available in unlimited quantities.

Breakfast vouchers are issued for the number of days you're staying. You can use these vouchers for a buffet breakfast at the restaurant in building B or for an à la carte breakfast at the cafe in building A. The buffet is adequate but, objectively speaking, not very varied. There was frankly very little fruit for Thailand. The à la carte breakfast doesn't include fruit at all, but the dishes served are delicious – with one voucher, you choose one main dish, one dessert, and two drinks from the menu.

I found the hotel's location to be excellent. We liked this area last year as well, and the distance to the metro (by our standards) is very short – a 10-minute brisk walk. It takes the same amount of time to reach the park near the Royal National Centre, where you can spot monitor lizards and, after sunset, join the mass run of health enthusiasts (the path around the lake is 1800 meters long).

We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and professional. For us, the hotel was practically perfect. As a suggestion for service improvement – rooms really should be equipped with clothes drying racks (there's enough space for them in the bathrooms) – many reviews mention this.

I definitely recommend this hotel; if I ever visit Bangkok again, I won't even consider other options and will stay here again.

This is a very comfortable hotel. Everything is so well thought out here; you just want to relax after a day of sightseeing instead of rushing off somewhere else. The only thing is you have to look for cafes nearby, and the metro is a bit far, so you need to take a short ride to get to it. They have an ironing board with an iron, a mini-kitchen, and clever lighting. I loved everything. The only downside is that breakfast is too expensive. The hotel's 10% discount is pointless because the cafe adds 10% to the already decent price and then another 7% in fees.

I am very grateful for the excellent service and support I received during my stay at Shama Sukhumvit. The team was attentive, professional, and always willing to assist whenever needed.

Booked for me and my SO, the room is spacious, bathroom looked clean and nice but the toilet is on the side of the bed so can hear water flush during the night so might wanna take in consideration for light sleepers.
The room had rotating TV for bedroom and living room so it’s prettty neat. Had little to none cooking utensils tho.

The location is superb, with a subway station right downstairs and close proximity to Zhejiang University. There's a McDonald's, 7-Eleven, and Hangzhou-style breakfast options downstairs, and Intime City shopping mall isn't far either. The hotel rooms are very clean and spacious, with complete facilities and excellent service. Having just flown back from Singapore, I found this domestic hotel incredibly comfortable. The service was super friendly; if I needed anything, a robot would deliver it. I also sent two packages and just left them at the front desk, which was very convenient.

The hotel's location is fantastic, very close to the subway station and shopping areas, making it super convenient for exploring, dining, and entertainment. Parking is also a breeze. Mary, at the front desk, was incredibly warm and polite, answering all my questions in detail. The room comes with a washer-dryer combo, and there's even a small kitchen for cooking, which made it feel just like home – so convenient!

Newly opened hotel. It's close to the subway, the service staff are warm and thoughtful, and there is a gym and laundry room, which is especially convenient for business people like us. The breakfast is nutritious and the beef noodles are particularly delicious.

The hotel room's bedding and towels were all very clean. Everything was great, except for the sealed windows. Although it's right next to the road, the windows are well-sealed and soundproof, so my sleep wasn't disturbed. The Indian guy at the front desk spoke fluent Cantonese, which was really impressive. The other two lovely ladies at the front desk also provided excellent service; check-in and check-out were both seamless. When my room door wouldn't open due to low battery, one of the ladies quickly came up and replaced it for me – very efficient service. The hotel's location is also close to Fortress Hill MTR station, making Hong Kong travel very convenient. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the tram stop is right outside, making it very quick to get to Causeway Bay and Wan Chai. It's an excellent choice for accommodation when visiting Hong Kong. The shower water pressure in the room was great, and the water temperature was stable, making for a comfortable shower. Finally, I must mention that the hotel's toiletries, especially the shampoo, smelled amazing – a lovely milky scent. My hair felt smooth and soft after washing, which I really liked personally. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

I am here for business for a few days , the facility is pretty good with self laundry plus a common kitchen, microwave in the room is very handy but no plates and cutlery only one spoon if only you provide one set of knife spoon fork and chopsticks plus detergent it would be nice as a service apartment! The place is very near Wong Chk Hang mtr station only a few minutes walk ! Price is reasonable for daily housecleaning, I would definitely recommend this to friends and family! 
My room is very quiet and clean!

Downstairs, there are all sorts of small shops, so it's basically quiet yet bustling. A short walk takes you to the famous Queen's Road, and it's also quite close to the Japanese supermarket Don Quijote. For shopping and dining, it's near that popular internet-famous noodle shop — I forget the name, but it serves beef brisket and beef noodle soup, I think it's called Kau Kee.
