We enjoyed our stay in Bangkok at the Shama Lakeview Hotel. The staff is really nice. The room was nice and clean with a great view of the city. The hotel restaurant serves delicious authentic Thai food. The kids enjoyed the pool almost every day of our stay. The main drawback is the distance to the train station (15min walk) which would normally be ok for us but it's difficult to get there in the heat with kids.

I’m a frequent traveller and this hotel is one of the best ones I’ve stayed. Perfect for staying with family, friends or for solo travellers. We just felt like home during our stay at the hotel. We took the superior room and my experience is based on the following factors:

1. Cleanliness - Very beat and clean room and surroundings.
2. Service - Great service front desk and all hotel staff. Very polite and extremely helpful.
3. Amenities - Rooms are sound proof with a nice aircon!! Everything you could possibly need during a family trip was available, including a very nice microwave, cutlery, Iron, smart Tv, a nice balcony, and a huge bathroom..!! The swimming pool was just amazing for both kids and adults..!!! The restaurant at the hotel is great too!! 
4. Locations- Great and easily accessible location with 7/11s all around along with a great marketplace. If you are a party animal, you may need to take a taxi 3-5KM to party places..!! Grab (including food delivery service) and Bolt (taxi service only) are easily available as well..!!

Overall, our experience was just amazing at this place and we will be staying here again in the near future..!!!

Location is super convenient. walking distance to nana street. Just the facility from hotel is not attractive, swimming is super small. But no effects us as we mostly stay outside more then in hotel.

As a frequent business traveler, a decent hotel with approachable location and handy facilities are required. Shama meets all these requirements! If you land at DMK, it only takes you less than half an hour to reach the Hotel without any worry for the traffic jam. Meanwhile, the Hotel is situated at a quiet area with shops, restaurants and massage shops surrounded. The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful to provide you information of staying in Bangkok. I stay in a suite room with living area, where you could find a small kitchen. The bed is really comfortable and tidy. Specifically, the shower is really good since the water pressure is high enough. Indeed, the price of this Hotel is really friendly, so you don't need to pay too much, but enjoy a very cozy room! When I travel again in Bangkok, I definitely choose this one again! How about you?

This was my first time staying at Shama Hotel. The hotel was quite bustling, with several registration desks set up in the lobby, seemingly for numerous conferences. The lobby isn't huge, so it felt a little crowded with all the arrangements. Nevertheless, the lobby staff were very warm and helpfully guided us to the elevators. J, who checked us in at the front desk, was highly professional. She thoroughly explained all the check-in procedures and hotel information, which saved us a significant amount of time getting acquainted with the property.

The room was spotless and very tidy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive view, and the nighttime city lights outside were beautiful. The room also came equipped with a microwave, washing machine, stove, and pots and pans. The white porcelain plates and cups looked very appealing. There's also a small square living area, separated from the bedroom by a sliding door, which creates a good sense of space. The bathroom had an electric heated toilet, and the shower area included both a showerhead and a bathtub. I had a bit of trouble figuring out how to use the showerhead—it was a new installation by the hotel—but I must give special praise to Manager Jin, who was on duty that day. He helped resolve the issue, demonstrating great dedication, professionalism, attention to service details, enthusiasm for his work, and incredible thoughtfulness! The breakfast was also excellent; Susie from the breakfast service, the male manager on duty, and the chef and aunties were all wonderful. Overall, the stay truly felt like a home away from home. I will definitely choose this place again!

The new hotel is said to have been opened in June 2024, the service is superb, the environment is good, the chain brand, the facilities are complete and clean, especially the smart toilet that can wash the butt, the intimate water purifier, especially like it, ￼￼

It was a good one given the reasonable price. The hotel is clean overall speaking while the air conditioner has quite a bit of dust and the drain near the toilet seemed to be leaking. The location is amazing, you can go to causeway bay by metro within 15 mins. The hotel offers coffee at the lobby. 

Location: Near the subway and shopping malls, near Ocean Park
Check in: Fast, deposit $500, upgraded to deluxe room, but close to the elevator.
Elevator: Large enough, but dark
Corridor: No odor, the entire hotel is non-smoking 😚
Mini bar: Tea bags and coffee, simple tableware, great refrigerator, microwave. But the microwave light was always on and I couldn’t turn it off, which was very bright at night. . . In addition, there is no water. If you want drinking water, you have to go to the common kitchen or the hotel lobby to find a water dispenser (there is no water dispenser on each floor)
Bathroom: OK, clean, no odor, towels without stains. The water drains quickly, the water power is strong, and the water temperature is stable. The air pumping is first-rate.
Bed: Comfortable
Common kitchen: 3rd floor, you need to take a photo to enter
The room is well soundproofed, but I could feel vibrations from time to time (probably because of construction work nearby)

First of all, the location is very close to various attractions, and public transportation is very convenient. This time I arrived in Hong Kong from the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, and the apartment was only 600 meters away after getting off the boat. Secondly, the room environment. The apartment is fully equipped and you can even cook simple meals. The key is that compared to the main hotels in Hong Kong, which are only about 20 square meters, this space is completely overwhelming. The most worth introducing is the service. The service of the apartment staff is very enthusiastic. I am used to electronic payment and did not bring Hong Kong dollars, RMB, and credit cards😅. When I needed to pay a deposit, the sister who received me provided a flexible plan without a deposit, which perfectly solved my embarrassment🥲. In addition, the power sockets in Hong Kong are different from those in the mainland. You can borrow them at the front desk without having to buy them separately. In short, the stay experience in Hong Kong this time is quite good, and it is worth writing a comment to recommend it
