location 
- located in the middle of asakusa , right by sensoji , opp a uniqlo and donki. many many food options right outside the hotel 
- nearest subway is asakusa station on tsukuba express line (2-3 min walk) 
- other not so near stations r tawaramachi station on ginza line (11min walk) & asakusa station on asakusa line (13 min walk) 
- direct train to Narita via the asakusa line but will need to haul your luggage through the busy streets of asakusa hahaha 

the room 
- it’s bigger than most japanese hotels for the price and location.. (I paid around 67,000yen for a basic double room for 4 nights in feb). I can comfortably open 1 large suitcase and 1 small one. 
- the room itself is very clean 
- housekeeping can be requested too 
- BUT the toilet has a damp smell. which sometimes can be smelt in the room when there’s no airflow. 
- there’s also a lot of condensation in the winter. stuff left on the window ledge all got wet. don’t put ur things on the window ledge 😔😔

the washing machine 
- paid 500 yen to use the washer and dryer…. do not recommend. all my clothes came out damp and smelly.. paid additional to have it dry again.. but still smelly lolol 

overall for price and location this is still a very worth it hotel hahaha

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very accommodating, especially for families. The location was great and accessible to transport and nearby amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International. The location is unbeatable — it’s just steps from Asakusa Station and only a short walk to Senso-ji Temple, Nakamise Street, and many great restaurants and shops. It made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable throughout my trip.
The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful from check-in to check-out, always greeting us with a smile and quick to assist with any questions.
My room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and I loved that amenities like high-speed Wi-Fi and thoughtful touches made the stay feel relaxing and convenient.
The breakfast buffet had a huge variety of delicious options, so it was a great way to start each day before sightseeing.
Overall, this hotel strikes a perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and warm service, and I would happily stay here again on future trips to Tokyo.

Two-minute walk from Mejiro Station. The hotel lobby has a retro charm, and the front desk staff are very friendly, always greeting me when I pass by. The room had high ceilings and a separate air conditioner, though the heating was a bit weak. The bathroom was a three-piece split, but the toilet cubicle was enclosed and had a slight odor. Breakfast was included, but I didn't use the voucher and exchanged it for coffee and cake at the front desk instead. Also, there was no complimentary water in the room, but Matsumoto Kiyoshi is right outside, where I bought a 2L bottle for 68 yen.

💁♀️The staff was very helpful and friendly.
What I like most is they turned breakfast area to be lounge where you can get free drinks and icecream - it was tasty!

🏠The room has a door inside to seperate from bathroom and bedroom, for me, I feel the room is bigger than average that you will get from others in the same range. 
Plus you can use washing machine and can check availibity on the TV in your room!

🚋The location is close to the subway station, you can take it to Tokyo station in 10mins.

I will absolutely come back if I have a chance to come to Tokyo again 🥰

This hotel comes highly recommended! It's located right under the Tokyo Skytree and very close to the subway station, with a shopping mall directly across the street. It definitely exceeded my expectations. Both the service and the environment were excellent. The room was relatively spacious, and I could even open my 28-inch suitcase without a problem. Plus, I got to enjoy a beautiful sunset view!

The environment is great and the service is excellent, especially since we had a lot of luggage to store. We dropped it off at the front desk in two batches, and they patiently helped us store it both times. There's also a scale in the lobby for weighing luggage. Our room had a view of the Tokyo Skytree, and the Skytree mall and Oshiage subway station are right outside, which is super convenient for direct access to both airports. The only downside was a faint, unpleasant odor in the room, possibly like foot odor, which was quite off-putting.

My recent stay at the Richmond Hotel Tokyo Shiba was quite a shock, definitely not as good as previous Richmond stays. I encountered a lot of issues during my four nights there. First, regarding my request for 'no corner room' – I had communicated this in advance via Ctrip. However, each floor at this hotel is small with only a few rooms, so there's not really a distinction between corner or non-corner. But I was still assigned a corner room on the top floor, which was really inconvenient. If the elevators were busy, I had to wait quite a while 😂. Two elevators really aren't enough. 

Next, the cleanliness. On my first day, I didn't select the continuous stay option on the TV. The hotel's policy is to clean every three days. I changed it to have cleaning for the remaining three days. But, dramatically, the first cleaning was fine, while the second and third had issues. During the second cleaning, the hotel's cleaning staff left two of their rags in my room. I wrote a note, but received no response, giving me the impression they just thought 'oh well, it's in your room now' 😃. The third cleaning was very simplified, and some areas were clearly missed.

As for the front desk, their English proficiency was quite limited, and sometimes they couldn't understand what I was saying. However, the female staff generally maintained a smiling service, while some of the male staff were expressionless.

I originally chose this hotel because of its good location, close to the JR station, which was indeed convenient. It's also close to Shiba Shinmei Shopping Street, Shiba Park, and Tokyo Tower. But I'd say the service was mediocre 😂. The room was also quite small, and I felt there were too few power outlets.

Pretty convenient location going to the major stations on the East or West of Tokyo takes about 20mins. There is also don quixote directly below and convenience stores nearby. Room was quite spacious  compared to other hotel's single room. Overall would recommend.

2️⃣The hotel is in a good location, close to the station, suitable for travel
3️⃣I didn't bring breakfast this time, so I solved it by myself at the nearby convenience stores
4️⃣The service is friendly and worth recommending

I stayed here during the Christmas season, so the room rate was a bit higher than usual, but it was absolutely worth it. The hotel is in a perfect location — just a 3-minute walk from the train station, with plenty of restaurants all around.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was extremely clean. I was lucky to get a room facing the street, where I could see the trees turning bright yellow. It was such a beautiful view.

One small detail I really appreciated was the hair dryer in my room. They provided a Rafa hair dryer, which is a rather premium brand. Since I have long hair, using a high-quality dryer made such a difference — my hair dried so quickly and smoothly. I was genuinely impressed by this thoughtful touch.

Overall, a great stay and definitely worth choosing this hotel.

This hotel is at the best location in Tenjin, literally 1 min walk from the main shopping street with the gaming arcades, shopping malls, and local dining.
Hotel is fairly new and room is large by Japan standard. The bed is super comfortable and bathroom has a decent tub as well. Breakfast is very high quality with decent selections. 
Overall highly recommended if u want a location in the middle of all the fun in Tenjin.

Location is very central in the Tianjin area, with underground shopping street, Nishitetsu railway and express bus centre, all the major department stores like Daimaru and Mitsukoshi etc. all within 5 minutes walk.  The hotel itself is a bit outdated and room isn't as clean as it ought to be.  However room size is quite generous given its type and staff service is quite admirable.  Overall not a bad choice for city visit but still have room for improvements.

A comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

The location was a 5 minute walk from the JR line. 

The hotel provided a decent selection of room amenities in the lobby  with green tea. And coffee options for the drinks.

The room was a decent size and clean. however the rooms were a little older, they had ample power points but didn't have any USB-A or C ports. They do provide 1 cable dongle with all types that can be used in the room.

Richmond Hotel Yokohama Ekimae is my top choice for a trip to Yokohama. My entire stay was perfect, with every detail exceeding my expectations and offering incredible value for money! The most impressive aspect is its location – just a 6-minute walk to JR Yokohama Station, making transportation incredibly convenient without any hassle.

Shopping and dining couldn't be easier. Within a 10-minute walk, there are three major department stores: Takashimaya, LUMINE, and SOGO, offering everything from high-end cosmetics and fashion to daily necessities. After a shopping spree, you can simply walk back to the hotel, saving both time and effort. Right across from the hotel is a bustling food street, packed with all kinds of Japanese cuisine and snacks, from affordable quick bites to exquisite formal dinners. You can discover authentic local flavors without even trying to find a restaurant.

The room's spaciousness far exceeded my expectations, especially for a business hotel in Japan. We could easily open two 30-inch suitcases and lay them flat without feeling cramped. The layout was excellent, preventing any feeling of confinement, and my travel companion and I were very comfortable. The bathroom features a wet/dry separation, allowing for showering and washing up without interference. It was clean, tidy, and showed great attention to detail, significantly enhancing the overall stay.

Overall, the location, room comfort, and surrounding amenities are all impeccable. It's perfect whether you're traveling for shopping, sightseeing, or a relaxing getaway. I will definitely book this hotel again on my next visit to Yokohama.
