We had a wonderful 5-day stay in Shanghai with our family. We booked club rooms, which gave us access to the Club Lounge on the 17th floor with panoramic views of Shanghai. We opted for a Suite and a Studio room. The beds and pillows were excellent. Breakfast offered everything one could wish for – especially delicious soups, noodles, and dumplings... We will definitely return. There's a metro station nearby, and the main attractions are just a 15-20 minute walk away. In the mornings, we enjoyed strolls along the waterfront. There's a small pool on the 21st floor, and the changing rooms have a steam sauna, which you need to request to be turned on in advance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely be back.

Front desk staff member Nicole deserves a big shout-out! Her service was exceptionally warm and thoughtful; she really went above and beyond to help guests and solve problems. On the other hand, Ares Chen at the lobby bar was a complete disappointment. His communication was stiff, and his attitude was cold and unhelpful, showing no consideration for guest needs whatsoever. This kind of service really drags down the hotel's overall experience. The hotel itself has an excellent location and great views. While it's an older property, the facilities are well-maintained.

The room was great, absolutely no signs of age, and the breakfast was incredibly rich with a wide variety of options, including Shanghainese noodles! The location is super convenient, close to both taxis and the subway. Plus, there are two commercial areas right outside, making dining very easy.

Traveling to Shanghai with my nine-year-old for a summer vacation, this hotel was super convenient. It's really close to Hongqiao Railway Station, and you can take Metro Line 10 directly to Longxi Road. From there, it's just a few minutes' walk. I especially want to thank Sylvia from the service center for the thoughtful arrangements. She sent us a fruit platter and had the AC turned on before we even arrived. My child absolutely loved the complimentary drinks and snacks from the mini-bar – a huge thank you for that! 😊 The hotel's public areas are beautifully decorated, and we had a great time at the pool too. 🥳 We'll definitely be back to this hotel on our next trip to Shanghai. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

Everything was great – the location, the ambiance, and the hotel's decor and facilities were surprisingly good. They even called me proactively to say that a bed could be added for a 12-year-old child, along with a complimentary breakfast. My only minor complaint is that I had requested a high floor, but my relatives were checked into the 4th floor. This was a bit disappointing; if the hotel was fully booked, they should have informed me beforehand.

Everything about this hotel was great, especially the service. The staff were perfectly placed; just a wave in the lobby and someone would immediately come to assist. The breakfast was thoughtfully arranged with a private booth, and the manager was very kind, even helping to lift the curtain for us. We were traveling with family for the May Day holiday and forgot our razor and toothbrushes. They proactively provided toiletries, which were quite good, especially the razor – it was really sharp, unlike the dull ones at some other hotels. Overall, I was very satisfied. I would have been even happier if breakfast had been complimentary, as my child didn't eat much anyway.

The room was quite small, but clean. There wasn't much in terms of service, and overall, the value for money was pretty poor. Flushing isn't that big anyway, so staying in different areas probably doesn't make a huge difference. Besides being clean, there really aren't any other positives. The internet was also very bad.

It was absolutely brilliant at Renaissance New York Chelsea from the beginning to the end of our stay.

The reception staff arranged a room with amazing view per our request and explained well for everything the hotel could offer.

Room is morden, chic, spacious with great amenities and friendly housekeeping staff.

Breakfast was buffet style which was better than we expected and the hotel provides bottled water at the lobby throughout the day. 

We would highly recommend it!

The front desk lady that checked us in was super nice and understanding. She allowed us to check in early which was really appreciated since we flew in from CA and with the time different and able to rest for a bit in the room before we start our day was the best ever.

The air conditioner is very loud and sometimes there is a strange smell, like the smell of ventilation. Be patient. There are three elevators, and one seems to be wobbling. It should be checked. The staff at the hotel counter are unprofessional. You have to ask at different times to get results. I hope the staff training can be improved.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a five-minute walk from Penn station, making it easy to catch the train and also convenient to take the LIRR or subway from JFK. The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable, but the room was rather small. Our midtown view room faced 34th Street, and the main problem was the terrible soundproofing. We could hear everything clearly, from the doors of rooms opposite to police cars passing by downstairs. Light sleepers should ask the front desk for a quiet room.

From the moment we booked, Sarah proactively reached out to us, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The room perfectly met our family's needs, and the view was absolutely stunning. If you have the chance to book a suite, room 03 offers the best views – you can see Tiananmen Square from the living room and Jingshan Park from the bedroom. We were so grateful for the attentive service throughout our stay, especially from the housekeeping staff who were on duty on the night of the 13th and the morning of the 14th. Our child was sick with vomiting and diarrhea, making a mess, but they patiently helped us clean everything up, for which we are incredibly thankful. The lounge staff were also very patient with the children, providing toys and books, which made their stay delightful.

I specifically came for Jolin Tsai's concert on Saturday, and my one-night stay at the Renaissance Beijing Capital on June 13th was absolutely fantastic. The front desk staff were professional and welcoming, with efficient and timely communication throughout. Any queries I had were met with quick responses and follow-ups, showing how much they value guest needs, providing meticulous and genuine service. The hotel's location is convenient, making travel to and from the concert hassle-free. The room was clean and tidy, ensuring a very pleasant rest. From reception to subsequent interactions, the professionalism was evident, with polite and warm service full of thoughtful touches. Although it was just a brief one-night stay for the concert, I received service far beyond my expectations, offering both great value for money and an excellent experience. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town for a show, and I sincerely recommend it to any concert-goers!

Highly recommend the Renaissance Beijing Zhongguancun Dongsheng Hotel! It's the top choice for business travelers in the northern district, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations.

The location is superb, right inside the Dongsheng Science Park. Surrounded by tech companies, it's incredibly convenient for visiting clients and attending meetings. For those driving, the underground parking has ample spaces and even charging stations, making the commute stress-free. The hotel is relatively new, so the facilities are pristine. The lobby's military tunnel and horse-themed design is very unique, and the floating large screen creates a fantastic atmosphere. The horse-hoof sound effect in the elevator is a thoughtful detail, perfect for photos.

The guest rooms are spacious and airy, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the park's greenery. The lighting and curtains are fully smart-controlled. The bedding is soft yet supportive, with a variety of pillows available. The soundproofing is excellent, completely isolating any noise from the hallway or the park, ensuring a peaceful rest even if you're working late. The bathroom features a wet-dry separation, with premium-scented toiletries and stable water pressure and temperature. The cleaning is meticulous with no corners missed.

The 18th-floor executive lounge offers breathtaking views, overlooking Olympic Forest Park and the Olympic Tower. The evening happy hour offerings are top-notch, and coffee is unlimited. The 24-hour gym and heated pool are well-equipped, perfect for unwinding after work.

The entire staff provides professional and attentive service. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and housekeeping and concierge were responsive and quick to address any requests. Whether for a short business trip or a longer stay for work in the park, this Renaissance is worth repeat visits. I've already saved it – next time I'm in Zhongguancun, I'll definitely choose this hotel again!
