This time, I brought my parents to Shanghai for Chinese New Year, and we chose this hotel because of its proximity to Yu Garden.

First, a big thank you to hotel manager Li Jing for her help. When my parents' room was too hot, she assisted us in finding and moving to a new, comfortable room. We're very grateful! Also, a shout-out to the cleaning lady, Coco. She was so warm and cheerful and worked tirelessly to help us during our room change over the Chinese New Year period. Her hard work is much appreciated.

Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated and the breakfast selection is somewhat limited, the location is absolutely unbeatable. There are so many attractions within a 1km radius of the hotel that are easily accessible on foot, such as the frequent-visit Bund, Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street, the ferry terminal for cruises, Yu Garden, lantern displays, City God Temple, Guyi Garden, and the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel (which also leads to the Oriental Pearl Tower). The Exit 1 of Metro Lines 10/14 is also right next door, making it incredibly convenient to get to places like People's Park/Square, Grand World (Dashi Jie), Wukang Road, and Shikumen (Xintiandi). It's really suitable for a family trip. The hotel's cleanliness is excellent, and the service is very good. Even during Chinese New Year, the soundproofing was fantastic, so there's no need to worry about being disturbed and not getting a good night's sleep. Overall, it was a good stay.

The room was quite spacious, and there were plenty of mirrors, which was convenient.

Facilities: It's been renovated, but the toilet was a bit unusual, and the bathtub was very small.

Environment: The location is excellent, convenient for getting anywhere. It's also less than a 30-minute drive to Disneyland, making it very suitable for families with children.

Service: The service was exceptional. Even though it was very busy with many guests, the staff never showed any impatience.

The complimentary breakfast and dinner were such a great deal! I would definitely come back again.

The semi-buffet hot pot dinner for two from Sunday to Thursday, and the buffet dinner for two on Friday and Saturday: Even if purchased at full price, it's a great value, but it's an even better deal as part of the package!

The buffet breakfast is excellent, with separate sections for Chinese and Western cuisine. Even during the Chinese New Year, when the hotel was fully booked, there was no need to queue for breakfast. Mr. Ye at the front desk provided excellent and professional service. The cleaning auntie on the 30th floor was also very good, and the room was spotlessly clean.

To sum it up: this place is king of value for money. Nothing stands out as exceptionally brilliant, but everything is excellent, including its slightly off-center location near the heart of a huge city. The convenience of the surrounding commercial area is fantastic (within 300 meters, there are two Starbucks, two FamilyMarts, high-end apartment complexes with supermarkets and dining on the ground floor, and a subway entrance, all within a 5-minute walk). The rooms are spacious; although the room I was assigned this time didn't have the best view, looking out onto a construction site, that's a minor flaw. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Shanghai. Oh, and the buffet breakfast is pretty good too, with all the usual Chinese and Western options.

Excellent amenities and service — they even provided an air purifier in our room. Everything was spotless, and the food was delicious!

I've stayed at most of the five-star hotels in the Hongqiao area, and I heard this one was recently renovated. The facilities are decent, nothing spectacular but perfectly adequate, which is generally what you expect from Marriott. It's about a fifteen-minute drive from the train station, and you can easily walk to Laowai Jie (Foreigner Street).

The hotel provide airport shuttle bus to pick us up to the hotel seamlessly. The car driver is very nice and helpfull. The room is very nice to stay and we could also take lugguage storage room for free after check - out.

The parking is pretty far away. They give out free tickets for some attractions. Times square is very very crowded. Watch out for people dressed up to ask you to take photos with them. They will ask for money later. 

Environment: The hotel environment is very good. A particularly good thing is that there are no buttons in the elevator and you can only swipe the room card, which prevents non-hotel residents from entering the hotel at will.

The location is also good. It takes more than 10 minutes to walk to Korea Street, Times Square, and Broadway. There is also a subway station nearby, a 3-minute walk away.

Facilities and hygiene: Nothing wrong, everything is OK

I booked a king-size bed room with city view for two nights. The night view was good at night. I felt it was suitable for two people. This time, three people slept in the same bed. There wasn’t much room to put the takeaways, but the hotel was generally OK.

I booked this hotel because of a last-minute need, and it was quite good. It's quiet despite being in a busy area, the room was clean and comfortable, and all the facilities were complete. They even gave me a 25 RMB breakfast voucher. The free luggage storage service was also excellent.

It's a good price-performance hotel. I like it very much. The location is convenient, fast, safe, and the experience is very good. The service staff is very nice. In short, it's a hotel that I would like to come back to live in again

Choosing Renaissance for my Beijing trip was the best decision! It's so convenient for getting around. The single bed in the standard room was incredibly spacious, and the shower had great water pressure – very comfortable. The room was clean, and I especially loved interacting with Luna, a front desk staff member from Inner Mongolia. She was so friendly and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. The new complimentary afternoon tea set was beautiful; hopefully, the taste can be improved next time. The breakfast environment is good, but I wish they'd add more high-quality options in the future. Next time, I'd love to stay in a room with a view of the Forbidden City. The view from the 17th-floor corridor was absolutely amazing!

Located in the heart of Beijing's Guomao CBD, this hotel will unveil over 400 newly renovated rooms in 2025. The cloud-level view rooms offer breathtaking city skyline views. With complimentary parking, it's perfectly suited for business travelers and stands out as a Marriott-affiliated property offering excellent value for money.

The hotel's decor, from the lobby to the rooms, really pays attention to detail and has a great sense of design. The ornaments in our suite also showed thoughtfulness. It was very spacious with a double-bathroom design, perfect for families, and the room layout was excellent, ensuring privacy. We especially appreciated the complimentary wooden souvenir key card, featuring the hotel's distinctive horse theme. Soundproofing was great, and cleanliness was high. My favorite part was the living room; it felt just like home. The male receptionist and the concierge staff were both very helpful.

The restaurant has a stylish design, but the variety of dishes wasn't very extensive, and options were limited. There weren't many Beijing-specific breakfast items, and there were very few staff members. The coffee machine was a bit of a mystery – it prompted you to pull something to confirm, but it wasn't actually necessary, and I had to ask someone nearby for help. Throughout our time in the restaurant, I only saw one roving server. However, having lemon chicken feet with bolognese in the morning was unexpectedly good – a perfect snack with a drink, haha!
