If you're here for an exhibition, this hotel and the Regal are definite choices. However, during exhibition periods, the value for money isn't great. For over a thousand yuan, the rooms are just so-so. As for the service, it's like Hong Kong overall – some staff are enthusiastic, others are a bit sloppy. The aunties in the restaurant are very friendly, but the young people at the front desk seemed a bit cold, though they did provide basic service. Maybe I shouldn't expect too much to begin with?

In a word: dated. While the hotel claims to have been renovated in 2019, the reality suggests otherwise. From the moment you step into the corridor, it feels like a time capsule from the 1990s - a feeling that is only confirmed once you enter the room.

The room showed significant signs of neglect: peeling wallpaper, a deteriorating bathroom ceiling, a stained bathtub, and heavily worn furniture. To make matters worse, there was a persistent ”old” odor throughout the space. The only saving grace is the location, which is likely why most people choose this property. However, location alone doesn't justify the lack of maintenance.

I was surprised that for just over 700, I could stay in such a spacious hotel in Hong Kong. We even got upgraded to a Deluxe River View Room with two queen-sized beds, which is perfect for families with kids. It also included breakfast for three, which is a much better value than many hotels back home. The breakfast selection was also great, very satisfied.

Overall, I don't think it's as bad as some reviews suggest. For this location and room size, it's quite good, offering decent value for money. The hotel itself is a bit old, but the service and facilities are reliable. While the cleanliness and newness of the amenities might not match a newly built hotel, they are still satisfactory. The hotel sees a large number of guests daily, and the staff are patient and professional. Plus, there are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. My last stay was at the InterContinental Grand Stanford across the street, which cost 1600+ per night. This time, the Regal Kowloon was 900+ per night, and I feel the value for money is comparable (I booked a room without a view).

If you prioritize convenience, choose a hotel near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. If you want more scenic views, go for the Grand Stanford. But if you're looking for good value, comprehensive facilities, and decent service, the Regal Kowloon is a solid choice.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to explore Causeway Bay. The front desk staff were great; they proactively upgraded my room to the top floor. The room itself was spacious and beautiful, with a view of Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon across the harbor. The hotel's decor could be described as grand and opulent, though it is a bit dated. The only major issue was that the room had a lot of glass, and the curtains didn't close tightly. This led to significant light leakage after sunrise, causing me to wake up very early and preventing me from getting a good night's sleep for two days.

many years visiting, no changes, I call it the regal plastic hotel, all is plastic like spoons,cups,plates 
coffee is horrible,  yoghurt from machine looks and tastes like plastic, never change food at breakfast,  even the positions of the single dishes at same places, 
front desk person just speak chinese no other language,

This hotel offers an excellent overall experience! The location is superb, with convenient transportation nearby, making it ideal for both business trips and tourism. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortably furnished, and the soft, skin-friendly bedding ensured a great night's sleep. The staff were warm and attentive; check-in and check-out were efficient, and they were always happy to answer any questions, which felt very thoughtful. The hotel's breakfast buffet was diverse, with fresh ingredients and delicious food, perfect for starting the day energetically. All in all, it was a very satisfying stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance! 🏨✨
