As an airport hotel, most guests are just passing through for a night. It's really inconvenient that breakfast only starts at 7 AM. I had to wolf down my meal in 15 minutes. They should really start breakfast by 6 or at least 6:30 AM. And for those with breakfast included, you even need to pre-order a sandwich if you can't make it to the main breakfast. Other than that, everything else is fine for an airport hotel; the shuttle to Tung Chung and the airport is quite convenient.

I chose this hotel because I was attending a Sandy Lam concert and had an early flight the next morning, so I wanted to stay as close to the airport as possible. It's a maximum 5-minute walk from the terminal building, and it's an indoor walkway, so weather conditions like wind or rain don't affect you at all. The signs leading to the hotel are also quite clear. Due to Hong Kong's environmental system, there's no bottled drinking water in the room, but there's an empty bottle provided that you can use to refill water from the dispenser in the hallway. In my room, the bathtub drain seemed a bit slow, but overall the room was quite tidy and a good size. The breakfast selection wasn't super extensive 😂, but it was definitely enough to fill up on.

The room was quite spacious, but the facilities were old and showed signs of wear and tear in many places. The bathtub drain was rusty, and the showerhead leaked heavily along the hose, making it impossible to shower properly without getting clothes soaked. So, I couldn't record a video. There were cracks on the side of the sink and a hole in the wallpaper near the bedside lamp. The room had poor sound insulation, and there was a damp, pungent smell from the carpet, which left me with a sore throat in the morning. Luckily, I only stayed for one day, so I didn't bother complaining to the front desk.

Service: I booked my room quite early, and after taxes, it was over 800 yuan, excluding breakfast. On the day of check-in, the room rate was 200-300 yuan cheaper than when I booked, but the staff didn't offer me a room upgrade. The service was mediocre, not as good as other hotels in the same price range.

Pros: There's a 299X bus stop right in front of the hotel, which is super convenient for getting to Sai Kung Pier ⛵️. It's a direct route.

Surroundings: You need to take a taxi to the nearest mall; it's a bit far to walk.

The hotel is good. At great location, with spacious rooms and helpfull personnel. We enjoyed our stay and they accommodate most of the request. 
In all the negative reviews, the complaint is cleaningness and too worn out facilities. It is true. There are small things that the hotel could do, like renewing the sealant silicone in the bathrooms and clean better around the windows and the air ducts. Simple stuff. Don't expect it though and it shouldn't affect your decision to stay. The place is good.
There were two things which were annoying to me, to affect the stay. First it was the non-option to stop the bathroom ventilation fan which was noisy and normally stops when you turn off the bathroom lights. Eitherway you have the A/C to ventilate the room. Second was that the bed frame was slightly smaller than the matress which made the mattress bend at the sides. It was like fitting a queen size mattress to a double bed size frame.
I am adding picture of the items that caught my eye and are the main reasons for complaints but not to discourage people to book this hotel. The photos are mostly for the hotel to see and make small improvements which can improve the reviews. The photo of the messy bed is only for room reference and not a comment :)

This was my first time staying at Regal Hong Kong Hotel for a shopping trip in Causeway Bay. The price was reasonable, and the location was excellent, very close to SOGO department store, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The night view was also beautiful. The hotel's buffet breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety and a distinct Hong Kong flavor. The downside is that the hotel facilities are quite old. The room size was decent, but the shower in the bathroom was too small; it was difficult to even turn around. I hope they can improve this.

Walking into the hotel lobby gave a great first impression. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and proactively asked if I needed help with my luggage. They even provided a complimentary fruit platter and yogurt in the room, which was a thoughtful touch. The lady who checked me in upgraded my room, which was fantastic! And the little rubber ducky in the room was a free gift for me too 😊 Across the street there's a shopping mall, making it super convenient for meals, and getting a taxi is also very easy. Overall, I had a really good experience. Next time I'm in Dezhou for business, this will definitely be my first choice.

For a five-star hotel, this price point offers great value for money.

The room is fully equipped with everything you need, including a bathtub and a bathrobe, perfect for a relaxing soak. I asked for disinfectant, and even though the staff had already finished their shift, they still delivered bath salts, which was a flexible and satisfactory solution.

There's also laundry detergent provided.

The desk work area is the most comfortable, with a desk lamp and a bright view overlooking the window – it's really pleasant. Plus, there's a small seating area for guests and a luggage rack for clothes.

The gym doesn't have a swimming pool, which is a bit of a shame.

The hotel's breakfast restaurant is spacious and impressive, and the window seats are incredibly comfortable. They even had roasted chicken wings in the morning, which was a delightful surprise and very satisfying.

However, the downside is that it's located next to a busy intersection, so you constantly hear cars passing by, and occasionally honking their horns. It can be a little noisy, but I feel it's still slightly better than other roadside hotels.
