Hotel Skypark Kingstown Dongdaemun is an amazing hotel! It is about a 10 minutes walk to 2 different subway stations. There are also plenty of eateries and coffee kiosks nearby. The breakfast spread is also great, there is a great mix of Korean and international food. For smokers, there is a smoking lounge of every floor of the hotel. There is also a communal kitchen on every floor, you can get those famous Korean instant noodles from the convenience store at the lobby and have the noodles in the kitchen. Room size is decent, my trip was 8 days with lots of shopping and there was still enough space to open 4 luggage. And Dongdaemun is an area that becomes lively at night, and the huge wholesale centers are right next door. Oh yes you can see the Cheonggyecheon stream from the room window, depending on which wing you are staying at. There is also a fantastic view from the hotel breakfast restaurant. And you can walk to Gwangjang Market. There are so many good things about this hotel!

Facilities: Fully equipped, there's a 7-Eleven downstairs and a laundry room, though a bit more expensive than in Japan. There's also a gym next to the laundry room.
Cleanliness: Clean, tidied daily.
Environment: Located in a bustling area, which is great and convenient, but the soundproofing could be better.
Service: Arrived early and they arranged luggage storage. The front desk staff spoke Chinese, which made things very comfortable.
Overall: The price was reasonable, about 3400+ for 4 nights, so it offers pretty good value for money.

The room was generally clean and tidy. The front desk staff spoke Chinese, and everyone was very polite. The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the nearest metro station. Also, this hotel doesn't use key cards; you have to enter a code for the elevator and to get into your room.

Love the location. Myeongdong shopping street is right below the hotel. Best for 1st time visitors like us. Staffs were very friendly and helpful.
The only suggestion will be their breakfast buffet spread. Food varieties were very limited.

The location is incredibly convenient. The airport shuttle drops you off in Myeongdong, and it's just a short walk to the hotel. There's a 7-Eleven and a subway station right downstairs, making daily life super easy. The room is a bit small, but we had no problem opening both a 28-inch and a 24-inch suitcase at the same time. The window is quite small, but for a trip where you're not spending much time in the hotel, it's perfectly adequate. The bathroom space is decent, but the showerhead is over the bathtub, which can be a bit awkward when showering. Also, Korean toilet paper is really thin, but they give you a generous supply!

The room was bigger than I expected. It's quite convenient for shopping in Myeongdong. It's also very helpful that the front desk staff can speak Chinese. There's a water dispenser in the hallway, and the toiletries in the room are good. There's even a hairdryer. The only thing is you have to stand in the bathtub to shower, but the water pressure is excellent.

Buffet was layed out well and the food was tasty. The staff is very accommodating and friendly; however, the room had multiple discrepancies such as large hand prints on the T.V mount and hairs found on the bed (1 small curly hair at the bottom of the bed and 1 long hair under the pillow). The pillows were comfortable but shed feathers at the lightest touch flying everywhere.

Overall besides the cleanliness factor the Hotel is a great place to stay especially with their projected events and rooftop.

Many thanks to the pretty lady who heard my complaints and comforted me the other day! It’s not her fault but she had to listen to me and take all my bad emotions just because it’s her job responsibility. I like her a lot and wish her all the best for the coming new year! 🧝♀️🧚🏻♀️💖
