I have to say as a first time sole female traveler— I always travel solo and I must say! this place is a gem! 
Lemme tell you first, the entrance to the hotel is at the side (I am bad with directions)… if you come late and the mall is close, face left and entrance is just at the side lol. 
In front of the hotel, there are lots of restaurants and you can always eat as solo traveler. Lots of choices and good foods. Lots of street market vendors if you just walk 1-2minutes and love this. 

I initially dont like the room (because of the view) (I only book places for their views tbh) as I have initially asked for a good view room on my request and all ;; and as what was advertised but it is my mistake for not booking city view room but I saw on some reviews they got nice city view room; and had to ask for a change because I stayed for 6nights. They advised as it was late, they have got no rooms available and informed me they will change on the next day. They promptly changed it on the morning itself saving me the time in to initially checking out and wait for availability. They were really quick in addressing the concerns I have and was very helpful. Really appreciate it as a first timer visitor in the city. Will definitely come back to this hotel and will book city view room next because so worth it!!!!

DDP is just 5mins walk and was so mesmerised! I have got the trail view and the trail is just so pretty! Will include the pictures of the trail!
Once you got on the trail, you can see Namsan Tower as well! Very very wonderful stay!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Hotel Review – Hotel Skypark Central Myeongdong

Had a great stay here and would highly recommend it. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Myeongdong, surrounded by shopping, food options, and with easy access to public transport. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Despite being in a busy area, the room was quiet and allowed for good rest. Staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful throughout the stay, making check-in and check-out smooth. Overall, great value for money and a very convenient base for exploring Seoul. I would definitely stay here again.

Facilities: I felt very safe. You need a password to reach your room's floor before taking the subway. It's self-check-in, and the staff all speak Chinese and are very nice.
Cleanliness: Pretty good.
Environment: Perhaps because I requested a quiet location in advance, my room was in a good spot.

For food, you can turn left and go up the hill, and they all speak Chinese. Since I was alone, I chose soup and rice.
Turn left out the door, cross the zebra crossing, and go straight to subway exit 6. I think it's the closest exit.

The staff are all very friendly and gentle, and they speak Chinese very well. I might choose to stay here again next time.

The location is absolutely excellent, right in the heart of Myeongdong. As soon as you step out of the hotel, you’re already in the middle of the shopping street. Olive Young is just a few steps away, and the Myeongdong subway station is very close too.

The room’s interior is a little old and dated, but despite that, the cleanliness was actually quite good. The only downside was the air-conditioning. We visited in winter, and the hotel staff mentioned that the cooling is controlled by central air-conditioning and suggested that we keep the heater off. Even so, the room was still quite warm at night, we literally woke up sweating. 😂

We had breakfast for two days. Although the menu was mostly the same each day, the food was tasty, and the staff even helped cook instant noodles for guests.

Overall, the location is unbeatable, service is friendly, and cleanliness is good but the room can get a bit too warm in winter.

Location is good, food and subway nearby. Shopping also 10 - 15 min walk depend where u gg to shop. Reception is very friendly, manager also helpful let us have early check-in when room is ready. I book the Saturday nite stay a bit expensive. This hotel I've stayed 9 years ago still ok they've a hotel chain. Tks ..

The location is fantastic, right out the door and a left turn leads directly to Myeongdong's main street. The room, although a bit small, was a family room with a 1.5m and a 1.0m bed, which could be pushed together. This was really great for families with kids. Honestly, apart from the slightly poor soundproofing, everything else was perfect. There's a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, so you don't have to worry if you don't speak English or Korean. There's a 7-Eleven right next door, and the room has a mini-fridge, so you can confidently buy drinks. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. Lotte Department Store is just across the street from the hotel, and a short walk further brings you to Shinsegae Department Store, making it convenient to pop back to the hotel for a rest when you're tired from shopping.

Stayed one night for business trip purpose. Free parking available and professional staffs at reception desk helped me so kindly. Nothing to complain and srongly recommended! No chance to try the breakfast buffet due to busy schedule on early morning, but hopefully visit this hotel again to taste it one day. 🙏🏻

Great location, very close to Shilla Duty Free! The front desk staff speak Chinese and are very helpful; they even upgraded our room. Breakfast was decent, and there's parking available in the back. (P.S. The Chinese restaurant directly opposite the hotel is just okay... wouldn't recommend it.)
