Hotel Gracery Shinjuku was exactly as anticipated. We traveled with our 2-year-old daughter. Although it was overwhelming at first with the hoards of people, we settled in and got used to it. Our daughter LOVED being in the hustle and bustle and enjoyed her daily smoothie from 7-11 just downstairs. Hotel seemed to cater to mostly tourists. 

The front desk was super helpful, and most of the staff we talked to spoke pretty good English. It made our stay smooth and enjoyable. They helped us retrieve our luggage, which initially they said they didn’t have. However, they were delivered 2-hours before we our check in. We used to the Airporter from Mitsui Garden Hotel Prana Tokyo Bay (Disney Area), which was so convenient. The front desk also helped us arrange a taxi for 4am pick-up. Taxi was prompt and made it to the Busta Shinjuku Expressway Bus Station in a timely manner (cost about $15) to ensure we made it tp Haneda Airport by 5:05am (cost $22 for 3 of us). 

The room was spacious. We stayed on the 25th floor and we had a nice view. Room was clean, and it has great amenities (iron, hair dryer, pajamas, slippers, and body wash/shampoo/conditioners). They even gave our daughter a little welcome kit with a pair of slippers, toothbrush and sticker. She loves “sur-presents.” Only qualm about the room was a distinct odor in the toilet and shower area. We attributed it the drain, a bit musty. However, we were mostly out and about a majority of the day, so it was bearable.     

Overall, it was a great stay in a prime location. For those with young children or kids, expect it to be a bit busy and action-packed at night. There are Toyoko kids right outside of the hotel, but again, they seem to mind their own business.

Right across from a side entrance of Ginza Six, with plenty of great food options nearby. It's a short 3-5 minute walk to the subway station, and if you head towards Shimbashi for less than ten minutes, there's a Don Quijote. The room is small, but it's perfectly adequate for one person and you can still open your luggage.

A hidden gem if you want to be near the action without the noise. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet area but still offers quick access to the Mita and Tamachi stations. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly decent with a good mix of Western and Japanese options. The rooms are minimalist with selective amenities. It's a solid 4-star experience; just keep in mind the 'cozy' room size if you're staying for more than a few days.

The hotel offers a partial view of the Skytree. The front desk staff were very friendly and professional, and they also kindly informed us about breakfast promotions. Its truly excellent location means you can easily pop back to the hotel to rest if you get tired from exploring. It's very close to both the subway station and Senso-ji Temple, so you can easily spend a whole day just exploring the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend it to friends. Laundry facilities are available.

OMG OMG OMG!!! I’VE NEVER REVIEWED A HOTEL THAT MET MY EXPECTATIONS!!! Okay first of all THIS GRACERY HOTEL IS DEFINITELY MY FAVOURITE AND OFC THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DOING A HOTEL REVIEW eventho I’ve been to korea more than 5-6 times in other different hotel but I’ve never gave any review after my stay. BUT THIS???? THIS HOTEL IS AMAZINGGGG!! SO MUCH LOVE FOR THE VIEW AND HOUSEKEEPING!!

OKAY THIS IS WHY I LOVE THIS HOTEL!

-FREE LOCKER TO STORE YOUR LUGGAGE IF YOU ARRIVED EARLIER BEFORE CHECKING IN?!?! INSANE BECAUSE PREVIOUS OTHER HOTELS HAVE TO PAY FOR IT😵💫😵💫😵💫

-CHECKED OUT AT 12pm!!! NOT 11AM BUT 12PM?!? GAWD I LOVE IT!! PLUS AFTER YOU CHECKED OUT YOU CAN EVEN STORE YOUR LUGGAGE INSIDE THE LOCKER FOR FREEEEE OH MY DAYS I REALLY LOVE LOVE IT!!

-THE STAFF IS SO POLITE AND FRIENDLY EVEN SPOKE ENGLISH AND AND EVEN IF THEY DONT SPEAK FLUENTLY(WHICH I DONT REALLY MIND BECAUSE I UNDERSTAND KOREAN) THEY WILL SHOW YOU A SCREEN OF THE TERMS AND CONDITION OF THE STAY!! PLUS ITS IN ENGLISH AS WELL FOR YOU TO READ! AND YOU CAN ASK THE FRONT DESK FOR HAIR STRAIGHTENER AND CURLER!!!!! LURVE IT SO MUCH

-IRON BOARD !!! ITS RARE FOR THE HOTEL TO HAVE AN IRON BOARD! AND EVEN IF THEY DO WE HAVE TO ASK THE FRONT DESK TO BORROWED ONE AND RETURNED IN IMMEDIATELY?!?! BUT FOR THIS HOTEL?? THEY WERE INCLUDED WITHOUT ASKING FOR IT!!! SO MUCH LOVE FOR THE LESS TROUBLEEE😩😩

-DEODORANT AIRFRESHNER/FABRIC
NOT MANY HOTELS HAVE THIS PLUS IF THEY DO THEY DINT SMELL THIS NICE!!! I WANNA KNOW THE BRAND OF THE FRESHENER ITS SO GOOD AND I LITERALLY SPRAYED IT EVERYWHERE AND EVERYDAY DURING MY STAYYYYY!!

-MAGNETIC DOOR MAKEOVER?!??
THATS CRAZY BECAUSE OTHER HOTEL WILL USE EITHER A DIGITAL KIND OR HANGING ON THE DOOR HANDLE BUT FOR THIS HOTEL?!? ITS SO COOLL BECAUSE ITS MAGNETIC!! FFS IM SO EXCITED 😆 LIKE ACTUALLY EXCITED THAT I CALLED MY FRIEND AND BRAGGED ABOUT IT!!

-FREE EYE MASK? NO HOTEL GAVE FREE EYE MASK?!? SO I USED IT AND IT FELT AMAZING AFTERWARDS!!


—SEPARATE TOILET AND BATHROOM!! AS A GIRL SO DOESNT LIKE COMBINE WET AND DRY TOILET TOGETHER…THIS MAKES MY STAY SO MUCH HAPPY PLUS THE SINK IS LITERALLY OUTSIDE WHERE I CAN SEE THE VIEW AND MY BED (as a scaredy-cat person going solo i love the sink being that way) 

-PARTITION !!! YOU CAN CLOSE THE DOOR SO AT NIGHT YOU DONT HAVE TO LOOK AT THE MIRROR REFLECTION !!! IM SO INLOVE WITH THIS!!!

- THEY HAVE INTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE THE REMOTE!! IN ENGLISH TOO!! VERY CONVENIENT LIKE VERY VERYYY!!

ANYWAYS ITS A SIGN FOR YOU TO BOOK THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR STAY! ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE A SOLO TRAVELER !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

The hotel is in a great location, close to two MRT lines, making it very convenient to travel to different attractions. The room and facilities were well-maintained and of good quality. The staff were polite, professional, and provided good service throughout our stay. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
