The front desk staff speaks English, and the check-in/check-out process was quick and easy. The free luggage storage at the front desk was very convenient. The room was quite spacious, allowing two suitcases to be opened flat, and the window view was excellent. The bathtub was large enough for two people to sit in comfortably. Housekeeping was prompt every day. There are many dining options downstairs, so you don't even need to leave the building to eat, plus there's a 7-Eleven. The location is very convenient, less than a ten-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. Exiting Shinjuku Station via the East Exit, the highway bus terminal is right across from the West Exit, making travel incredibly smooth. I would definitely choose this place again next time.

Overall, it's pretty good. The room isn't huge, but there's enough space to open three suitcases comfortably. It's very clean, and they bring fresh pajamas daily. The amenities are comprehensive, including a fridge – though a microwave would have been a nice addition. Both check-in and check-out are semi-self-service, which is very efficient. Thumbs up! The biggest plus is definitely the location; it's super convenient for getting anywhere. It’s only a five to six-minute walk from Ginza Station, and the surrounding shopping area is fantastic for browsing. Plus, there are plenty of convenience stores nearby.

The location is great, with a station just a 7-8 minute walk away, making it very convenient to get around. The surrounding area is also well-equipped with convenience stores, drugstores, restaurants, and shopping malls. Hotel service is average, and the facilities are decent. The breakfast spread is quite good. However, the soundproofing is a bit poor; you can hear conversations outside your room when other guests pass by. There's also a city tram track behind the hotel, and you can faintly hear the trams passing at night.

Hotel Grocery Asakusa is an excellent choice for exploring Asakusa. The location is truly its biggest strength—just a short walk from Asakusa Station and the iconic Sensoji Temple. Being able to visit the temple early or late with such ease was a highlight. The area is also full of great food options and convenience stores.

The hotel itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. One amenity we appreciated was the on-site coin laundry. A small note for future guests: there are currently only two washing machines, and they were quite often occupied during our stay. Having one or two more machines would significantly improve this service, especially for longer stays or when the hotel is busy.

Despite this minor suggestion, the overall experience was very positive. For its unbeatable location, comfort, and value, I would definitely recommend this hotel and consider staying here again.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. The staff can speak english & Japanese. The room is clean and cozy. Location is very strategic to tourist place. Definitely, will return to this hotel again for next trip.

The location is sweet, 5 mins walk to the closest MRT, and there are even YouBike and Bus for traveling.

There are 3 convenient stores nearby, which is good.

Since the beginning of 2025, hotels in Taiwan won't provide amenities, so the convenient store can be used to purchase any if you need them.

Drop-off and Pick-up in the area is slightly askew, do be careful as it's beside the traffic light.

Counters for check-in are locate at level 3, The room is a good size; I'm able to open my luggage fully. However, the walls are slightly thin, so neighboring up or side rooms closing doors or accidental bumps are heard from time to time.

The bathroom has a separated toilet (with bidet), bathing, and bathtub.

The concierge folks are friendly and able to store luggage to return for collection on the last day.
