I stay here three or four times a year when I visit Tokyo because of the convenient location. After shopping at Isetan or drugstores, I can easily drop off my bags at the hotel just across the street before heading out again. The room is clean, and the toiletries are great. Five stars!

Overall, it's pretty good. The room isn't huge, but there's enough space to open three suitcases comfortably. It's very clean, and they bring fresh pajamas daily. The amenities are comprehensive, including a fridge – though a microwave would have been a nice addition. Both check-in and check-out are semi-self-service, which is very efficient. Thumbs up! The biggest plus is definitely the location; it's super convenient for getting anywhere. It’s only a five to six-minute walk from Ginza Station, and the surrounding shopping area is fantastic for browsing. Plus, there are plenty of convenience stores nearby.

We chose the Temachi area because of its proximity to the Yamanote line and that was useful, especially for trips out to the west and for access to the shinkansen when we moved on to Kyoto. We were aware that it is mostly a business hotel and the room would be quite small. It was a bit of a juggle with 2 cases but otherwise not too bad a size. Everything was clean  - just the carpets and furnishings were a little dated. The  bed was quite hard but overall we slept well. bathroom was good with nice shower gel & shampoo. A change of towels or full clean was available each day. The guest lounge area is very pleasant with free coffee from a machine and a vending machine for soft drinks & beers. There was also a microwave available to use. The laundry room had 2 washing machines & 2 driers. We did a full washing load which we then split across the 2 dryers - Everything washed and dried for 800 Yen. We did have a problem with the water pressure on the bathroom sink but it was dealt with after we reported it. We did have breakfast one morning and there was plenty of choice. It was mostly Japanese style but there were also Cereal, fruits and pastries. We would choose to stay in the hotel again.

Hotel Grocery Asakusa is an excellent choice for exploring Asakusa. The location is truly its biggest strength—just a short walk from Asakusa Station and the iconic Sensoji Temple. Being able to visit the temple early or late with such ease was a highlight. The area is also full of great food options and convenience stores.

The hotel itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. One amenity we appreciated was the on-site coin laundry. A small note for future guests: there are currently only two washing machines, and they were quite often occupied during our stay. Having one or two more machines would significantly improve this service, especially for longer stays or when the hotel is busy.

Despite this minor suggestion, the overall experience was very positive. For its unbeatable location, comfort, and value, I would definitely recommend this hotel and consider staying here again.

Was hesitant before booking this hotel as Japanese hotel rooms are generally smaller than usual as compared to taiwan local hotels.

To my surprise, it was quite spacious! Able to open up my luggage fully on the floor without obstruction and a sofa area to chill.

TV was okay with alot of ********* channels but had some issues connecting my netflix despite following the on screen instructions.

Overall it was a positive experience! Will visit again!

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, within walking distance to Myeongdong, Seoul Station, City Hall, and Gyeongbokgung Palace. There are also plenty of bus stops nearby, making transportation incredibly convenient. Check-in is on the 11th floor, and the staff are super friendly, helpful, and very polite when answering all sorts of questions. The breakfast spread is rich, offering both Korean and Western options, and the fruits and vegetables are very fresh. When checking out, you can store your luggage in the self-service lockers on the 11th floor, which is very convenient. There's a CU convenience store right downstairs, making it easy to grab water. Oh, and you get two complimentary bottles of water upon check-in; any additional water after that needs to be purchased. If I had to pick something to improve, it would be that only one bedside table and the vanity have power outlets, while the other side of the bed lacks one, which is a bit inconvenient. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Seoul.
