Dorsett Hotel at Tsuen Wan HK
Great to stay in this hotel that provides FREE shutter-bus daily (half hourly interval , 0730-2130) to & from MetroPlaza & just beside Kwai Fong MRT.
The buffet breakfast is reasonably good with eggs station of your choice.
The mattress is good & comfortably sleeps well, except only 1 pillow provided. 
No toiletries provided, hope they will add  bottles water tea/coffee packages!
My previous social stays were in the HK city centre  I stay here this time (June 2026), so have a try to stay in this  Dorsett Hotel Tsuen Wan. 
There are airport express buses A32 or A30 stop near this hotel, just goggle the way!

I booked this hotel to see Mayday in Kai Tak, and it was super close to the concert venue. I have to say, there were a lot of Mayday fans staying here! I'd definitely come back to this hotel for future Hong Kong trips; it's excellent value for money. The room was actually quite spacious compared to other places I've stayed in Hong Kong. It brought me good luck!

Facilities: Excellent.
Hotel shuttle service: Very convenient.
Complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room (with view): Hong Kong Jockey Club.
This is my go-to hotel every time I'm on a business trip! 🏨
Flexible check-out time (subject to availability): Very accommodating.

Environment: Surrounded by famous attractions, I also recommend Peng Qing Kee Michelin restaurant.

The renovation is very new, but the room lighting is too dim, likely to create a 'luxurious' atmosphere. It's so dark I couldn't even see my beard when shaving... This really misses the point.

Furthermore, for a seemingly 'boutique' hotel, it's unacceptable that there are no bathrobes in the room. I assume the hotel management made a conscious decision here, but this is a service that absolutely shouldn't be cut.

Although the breakfast selection is limited, the taste is good. Aside from the salad and fruit, everything else was well-made. The scrambled eggs could rival those at a five-star hotel (though without the condiment bar present). The coffee quality is among the best I've had at countless hotel breakfasts, and the chef in the Chinese food section must be very professional.

The bus service is a nice touch. It would be even better if checkout could be extended to 12:00 PM.

Oh, and the gym equipment is excellent. The Guinness stout at the rooftop bar was good, but another local Hong Kong draft beer tasted distinctly off and sour, possibly due to low consumption and deteriorated pipes. If the bar insists the beer wasn't spoiled, then its sour taste matches the bartender's subpar skills.

Also, I often work late. Despite having the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on, why did the cleaning lady keep knocking and waking me up? I was furious at the time; she kept knocking until I opened the door.

I had a wonderful 4 days and 3 nights stay at Dorsett Mongkok, Hong Kong. The location is excellent — close to the MTR, with plenty of photo spots, good food options, McDonald’s, and grocery shops nearby.
The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I truly appreciated that they allowed me to store my luggage before check-in, which made my arrival so much easier. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, providing a perfect place to rest after exploring the city.

Another highlight was the complimentary shuttle bus service to several famous locations, which made sightseeing convenient. The receptionist was also very informative, always ready to provide guidance and recommendations.
Overall, I’m very thankful for the warm hospitality and thoughtful service. This stay made my Hong Kong trip even more enjoyable, and I would gladly return again.

For this price in Hong Kong, it's really good value for money. The hotel upgraded our room to a high-floor city view, which was surprisingly quiet. If you head right out of the hotel and down the slope, you'll find another hotel managed by the same group. That's where you can catch the free shuttle bus – just check the schedule for rides to Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, and even the Airport Express station in Sheung Wan. The hotel practices eco-friendly management, so they don't provide toothbrushes or other amenities. For frequent business travelers like us who always bring our own, this isn't an issue, but for others, please remember to bring your own or buy them downstairs. Drinking water also isn't provided in bottles; you need to take your room's bottle downstairs to refill it (as shown in image 2).

Firstly the hotel is very misleading… it should states whether it has windows instead of just naming superior rooms, etc. When checked in only they ask to upgrade another RM 100 for rooms with windows. 

Secondly their parking is horrible. At check in they said that parking is RM 3.70 per entry, but after 12 AM they charge you RM 3.70 again. This isn’t per entry, this is per day!? And they keep blaming it on the building, saying they’ve shared parking with the building. 
However they can do setting to set parking at RM 3.70.. what kind of hotels do not provide parking space!? 
Btw.. in the end if you leave by morning, parking is RM 7.40. If you exit each time during the day and come back, you pay RM 3.70 per entry each time!   

Thirdly, for god knows what reason, exit is at B1, however they want you to turn one huge turn to B2 to get back to B1…. And what’s worse is that once you go up to slope, and you’re stuck, the guard ask you to reverse down the slope! What kind of brain design is this? And it isn’t there is no exit at B1.. they just block it for god knows why. 

Btw.. besides that.. sky bar has gorgeous view .. I woke up for the sunrise.. and have to give compliment to the housekeeping, they were fast, clean and just really make the room clean and comfy. They were very polite too that whenever you pass by, they’d greet you.

Stayed here recently and honestly, no regrets at all. The location is spot on — walking distance to Bukit Bintang, TRX nearby, KLCC not far either. Easy to explore KL without stressing about transport.

First room had a slight issue, noisy pipes. But that whole situation actually turned into the best part of the stay because a staff member named Amir sorted out an upgrade to a bigger room straightaway. The new room faced TRX, stunning view especially at night. Really felt valued as a guest.

Breakfast is simple, just nasi lemak, but it hits the spot. Nothing fancy but enough to kick off the morning right. All the staff were friendly, approachable, no waiting around when you need something.

Free parking is a huge bonus if you're driving, because parking in KL city centre is usually a pain and wallet-unfriendly.

Overall? This hotel is seriously worth it. Peaceful, quiet, great location. Highly recommended if you want to stay in the heart of KL but still feel like you can breathe. 5/5.

We stayed there for 6 days and 5 nights. The hotel is clean and conveniently located close to everything. Drinking water was also provided. The breakfast menu was tasty but lacked variety. We were also allowed a late check-out until 1 PM without extra charge, as our flight was delayed.

Unfortunately, the room service still needs improvement. We called twice to request extra pillows and spoons, but no one delivered them until the next day. I hope this can be addressed.

Silka Cheras Kuala Lumpur is a practical and conveniently located hotel, suitable for both business and short leisure stays in the Cheras area. Its location offers easy access to nearby eateries, shopping options, and main roads, making it a convenient base for getting around Kuala Lumpur.

The rooms are generally clean, comfortable, and equipped with essential amenities such as air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, and basic in-room facilities. The overall environment is quiet enough for rest, and housekeeping is acceptable for a mid-range hotel.

A key highlight of the hotel is its early breakfast service starting at 6.00 am, which is especially helpful for guests who need to leave early for work or travel commitments.

However, the Wi-Fi connectivity can be inconsistent in certain areas, which may affect guests who rely on stable internet access for work. Improvements in network coverage would significantly enhance the overall guest experience.

I stayed in this hotel for the second time, but this time my experience was not the same as first time.

The hotel is good enough actually for the price. But if you want an advice, then I recommend to go for the better room (not a standard room). Delux or premium is just wonderful for it's price. But this time I went for standard and it's so much worse (now I can understand negative reviews on this hotel: that all comes from a standard room experience). Well, the room is okay, but really, in KL there are so many options to stay that the standard room looks poor and old. It's quite small also. Better type of the rooms are not much expensive but it's big and much much better. So I really suggest to upgrade the room and to have a great experience of stay rather than save a few dollars and to stay in standard room.

The location of the hotel is central and this makes it very much worthy anyway. Petronas towers just 15 minutes walk. River of life is also not far away. It's a good central location, no doubts. 

Cleaning of the room is good. Every day someone comes to clean the room, to give some water bottles and to change the towels. They change bedsheets every two days. 

There is an AC in the room but it seems to me to be a bit old, so it's not that powerful (even on maximum cool mode). But it works, it was enough for me. It's ok if the weather is not too hot. If it's really hot, I am not sure if this AC is enough. Or it's ok if you don't like when AC is too strong. 

The hotel has some problems with insects (though it's not that bad, it felt clean enough, but sometimes you can see). While I stayed there in December and in March, they had something to with it (kinda spray shots as a part of cleaning). If it bothers you, better not to go there. I did feel bad about it. No smell. Just a single shot of spray in the bathroom and that's it. My friend didn't like that it happened at all. But what can they do? The hotel tries its best to keep the building clean. So sometimes there is no other way because insects might come and it's better to prevent it.

I met different managers of the reception and the guy was really good and friendly. And both ladies were not friendly at all. They made me pay the taxes again though it was already included in the price. Then I had to show them the proof that I have already paid it. No apology. On the contrary, she blamed me in her mistake and behaved so much unfriendly that my friend was saddened by it a lot. We got a refund, but really, this was unpleasant. When the guy is there, he smiles and he is happy to held. But not the lady. 

Overall, the price of this hotel is cheap and I would recommend it for a location. If you can go for a better room, then it's worthy of staying there. Won't come again in a standard room. 

The swimming pool is beautiful and there is almost noone there. It's a plus point. They also have sauna for men and sauna for women. But you have to press the button to make it work in advance (20 minutes before you plan to visit), otherwise it's not hot there (because there are almost no people). You can swim in the pool while it's getting hot there. Sauna and pool are really good there and it's a plus point for this hotel.

Breakfast is average. Actually there are many dishes and it's good enough, but the general impression is just okay okay. Everything is there, I can't say anything bad. But if you are not too fond of having breakfast in hotels and if you prefer to sleep long, then really, you better sleep, it's just an okay breakfast.

This is a service apartment next to Dorsett hotel and managed by Dorsett. The apartment is quite run down. The weirdest thing in this apartment is there is not a single electrical socket at the kitchen area. They provided you with kettle etc but in order to boil water, you need to bring your kettle to the living room or bedroom. 
They provided only one key card for lift access when there are 4 of us and mentioned that we can ask the security officer to help but the officer was not very helpful and insisted I need to have my keycard for the lift even though I showed my room card and unit number. He did finally help but was a hassle. 
 
Location wise is good as right in middle of Bukit Bintang and not exactly a 5 star apartment.

I stayed here for the Billkin concert, and it was incredibly close to the venue! The room was simple and clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly – no complaints there. The handheld showerhead was broken, but the main shower had great water pressure, and I could easily adjust the hot and cold water. It was surprisingly quiet, not noisy at all. They didn't even ask for a deposit. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I'd definitely choose this place again in the future.

This photo is from my room view. An important things to said if you drive can just consider other hotel. This hotel did not provide free parking as you know the town areas parking at Singapore are expensive. But this suitable who will take mrt, is just right below the hotel which is outram park. The pool have made my mom a bit disappointed because of not really have good maintenance since this is a 4 star global hotel, really cannot compare with Dorsett KL😌

I have met a front service counter staff, I hope she is just tired, because she looks like we owe her. She is very good on speaking mandarin and just nice this hotel nearby Chinatown. Might have a lot of mandarin users.
