Our family enjoyed the stay here. It is very convenient to travel into and around London via the tube, and it was perfectly located near the Eurostar for our forward journey to Paris. The team is professional and we were well taken care of.

While waiting for the airport pickup after checking out, the female reception approached me asking for payment for service charge. When I told her that I would complain to Trip.com for this extra charge, she said it was their discretion to charge this additional charge to the guests or not (what?) and I had the option not to pay. And I told her that I chose not to pay.

I am not sure what it is. But I felt something not right.

From the start until I left, I never felt welcome at this hotel. I will not stay at this hotel again.

The room is not big, and there is a bus stop at the door, but when we go out, we still need UBER or the subway. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the subway station. There is a supermarket nearby. You can buy something in the supermarket a day in advance for breakfast. Because I used the car on my first day out, I put my subway card in another coat pocket. When I went back in the evening, the subway card in my pocket was gone. After I contacted the front desk, the result was as expected. So it feels a little bad.

This is by far one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The service from the staff was incredible, so thoughtful and kind. The room wasn’t ready for check in time unfortunately. The hotel is beautifully designed. I will definitely be back.

Very nice stay at the Bankside hotel though not without some difficulties. We had asked for a quiet room but were placed right next to the lift lobby and opposite the water dispenser, and with hard floors throughout the lift lobby and entrance area of the rooms this meant a LOT of noise coming in the room at all hours. In fairness, the front desk tried to find an alternative but it was not what we were looking for so we opted to stay where we were and made the best of it. 

Aside from this everything else about the stay was great, a really lovely modern hotel with very friendly and fun staff, great breakfast (though not cheap) and good location on the South Bank. 

We would definitely stay here again (though ask not to be in this room location). 

Special mention to breakfast staff who helped get extra fruit for our toddler and concierge who gave him Christmas gifts from the tree... lovely touches.

The hotel is located in the city center, quiet in the bustle, and within walking distance of many attractions such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and the London Eye. When we arrived, we were told that the reservation could not be found (probably due to an oversight by their reservation department). The suite for 3 people I booked was no longer available, and I was given two standard rooms, which was a timely solution to the problem.

The hotel itself has good environment, facilities and services, and the breakfast is quite rich. Regarding this hotel, there is an introduction on Zhihu that it was once a famous ”spy hotel”. If you are interested, you can check it out.

It was a really great stay. Grace and Mihail were very accommodating and the service was excellent. The location of the hotel is recommended as it is very central.

The bed was very comfortable and the front desk service was good.

Booked room with Burj Khalifa View during new year eve.  The view from the room is fantastic and we don’t have to bring our kid out during countdown, just sit back and relax with wine.😍 Staff at the reception area are good and polite, always with friendly smile. Location of this hotel is fantastic too, just a 5-10mins walk to Dubai Mall. 

Bad about this hotel are bellboy, some of the breakfast staff, and breakfast options. Bellboy services are not up to standard and the staff are rude which made me pissed off. 
Breakfast options are the worst among 3 hotels we stayed during these UAE trips. 
Staff who serve us also funny, I had requested one of the indoor staff to top up hot water for teapot as the tea is too thick for me, but the staff told me there are still tea inside, don’t need to top up hot water, what a joke?? The other staff who serve us during outdoor is good and polite, totally different from the indoor staff.

Stayed at the new hotel ‘Local’ in JVT, Dubai. Everything was excellent – modern, comfortable, and welcoming. The service is outstanding, and I was truly impressed. Highly recommend!

The staff are helpful. The service that I received from the hotel is great. The location is average to me. It takes at least 20 minutes to walk to the metro station, which, compared to my previous travel to other countries, it is not as convenient. However, compared to other hotels with this price in this area, this hotel provided a walkable distance to the metro station. About 5 minutes walk, you can see the Burj Khalifa. If you are travelling around Dubai, this location is fine. The hotel stated open in 2024, however, this is because they have been sold by the previous owner in 2024, so to be honest, the design of the room and the amenities is not as good status as I thought. The bathtub area is opened, which may not be a good choice for someone who needs more privacy. There is only one socket next to the bed, which may not as convenient.

My first very good impression of the resort was the welcome at the door by the staff and things got even better at the check-in, we were welcomed by even a bigger smile by Walé at the reception. We came early before the check-in time but she used her professional and genuine customer service approach to check us in early when she knew that we came from a long trip. I didn't get the same approach from another 5* hotel when I arrived early. Walé's kind assistance set up the mood for an excellent stay. My son and I loved our stay. WONDERFUL ❤️👌🙏

Excellent hotel, in an excellent location. Very nice rooms. Beautiful pool on the 3rd floor. Quite nice territory and a good beach. There are also disadvantages - there is construction near the pool on the street. Not noisy, not dusty, does not particularly interfere. But the sight of the crane certainly does not win. There are many activities on the beach, so there is always quite loud music. Lovers of a quiet holiday may not like it. Otherwise, great.

This is not my first time here , I used to be very nicer when it was Thompson , now the service is very bad specially, the guy who fill out the bar inside the rooms he’s very very rude .

Very nice newer hotel. Service was ok. Security arrived quickly to reset the safe, though the maintenance staff couldn't fix my dripping shower faucet. They showed up right away, misdiagnosed the problem and said it would stop over time. It didn't. When I notified the front desk the next morning, they assured me that maintenance would be there to fix it. They never showed up again. Three days of hearing a dripping shower faucet...
Oh yeah, and don't get a room on the second floor near the fitness center. Gyms bros too weak to properly put down dumbbells. *****s letting them drop and thus rattling everything on the floor at all hours of the day and night.

Nice hotel apartment, across from Civic Center station with underground parking. Very good service from front desk staff. A lovely space with coloring area in the lobby, restaurant are precursor to the apartment: full kitchen, living room, dining area, two tvs, balcony and bedroom, kind of classic Marriott style. But unlike Marriott there were no extra towels, bathrobes, slippers or toiletries beyond soap and shower cap. 

The restaurant hours on the key are incorrect. The restaurant closes at 930pm although front desk said only the kitchen closes at 945pm. Anyway the mix up led to none of our interactions with the reticent restaurant's staff for room service. The restaurant takes a daily siesta too, though the key says weekends only. The 12 doesn't let Door Dash come to the apartment, only the lobby. However, 12 Staff will deliver if anyone's available; otherwise you have to go to the lobby.  

All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel facilities are perfect and clean, except for the order details that need to be marked with breakfast (including breakfast: 20 USD for breakfast), everything else is very good👍
