"We had a wonderful 6-day stay at Hôtel du Cygne in Bracieux during a mother-daughter trip. The hotel is full of charm and very well maintained. We stayed in one of the annexes in a spacious triple room, which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable! The swimming pool was a lovely bonus, and we really appreciated the availability of a common fridge and freezer, as well as the unlimited still and sparkling water provided on site ! The location is perfect – just a 2 to 5-minute walk to several restaurants and a Proxy supermarket, and only a short drive to the famous castles of Chambord (10 minutes), Cheverny (10 minutes), and Blois (20–25 minutes). Highly recommended for a relaxing and well-situated stay in the Loire Valley! "

"Terrible campsite . We got the smaller pitch next to staff block . Repair’s going until 7.30pm Got covered in dust from all the traffic . Pool minuscule . Showers sometimes hot sometimes cold . No toilet seats in toilet ! We decided to leave after one night and got somewhere near far better."
