"Hotel was perfectly located for where I wanted to be. Overall good experience, there is a Trainline behind the accommodation which was noisy and noticeable but not enough to disturb my sleep. Room was lovely and cosy and decor was excellent. Shower was fantastic, evening food was ok but nothing special, breakfast was excellent"

"We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Lorne House. Our room was luxurious, and the bedding was unbelievably comfortable. The thoughtful touches included an assortment of teas and coffees (including decaf), regular and oat milk, plus biscuits right in our room, made it feel extra special. The full breakfast is absolutely incredible, and able to skip lunch, only needed dinner each day. The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable, with a lovely living room/common area and an inviting outdoor patio. The décor is stunning, and it’s clear the hosts haven’t skimped on a single detail. Mum Liz (Eliza/Harry had their first child this week) was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions on where to visit nearby and how to get there. Note: When we arrived, we discovered we had accidentally booked our 5 night stay for the following year, 2027. Harry couldn’t have been more helpful and immediately found a way to accommodate us. We would highly recommend Lorne House and look forward to returning!"
