"It’s a definitely perfect retreat and super relax experience! Here you can do everything you want to fulfill yourself. ROOMS: very spacious, cozy and stylish. The room is divided into two zones: bed block and entrance with a sofa and a coffee table. Every room is equipped with a big fridge, teapot, coffee beans. There is also a chimney in the room for your hygge stay:) Big bathroom with a shower. Near the room there is a relax zone with chairs and tables - here you can have away break or just chill. LOCATION: directly under the stars! If it’s not cloudy you can see stars and some planets from the terrace. FOOD: the restaurant works until 3pm, we’ve had an awesome breakfast there. Menu isn’t big, but you’ll find something for you. They also can prepare anything you want. Portions are big and all meals were very tasty! There are a local plantation - so, all vegetables and berries are natural and organic. FACILITIES: good wi-fi, barbecue zone (gas), many open zones where you can chill or make a fire (if you want, the stuff for that is provided), small shop with local products, soft beverages and wines, some desserts. There hotel located next to the forest - so, you can take a 7km round walk through it or also there is an opportunity to rent a horse for it. STAFF: very very hospitable and friendly, here you feel like at home! You’ll 100% would like to come back there!"

"The Bowral area has long needed a great place to stay and a good restaurant on site and after many years of being run down it is great to see a refurbished Milton Park again offering this. The refurbishing has kept many of the "old" features of this grand old country hotel. The rooms are comfortable and inviting, the bar areas are great, and the restaurant is very good without being groundbreaking. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the gardens are interesting and inviting for a slow walk around. But there were a few issues that need addressing. Although the bathrooms are spacious, unfortunately our shower was very poor - the pressure from our rain shower was minimal (it leaked upwards) and the wall shower was fixed at below shoulder height - not helpful. The car parking was a good 100-200 metres away from the main door and there was no option for valet parking. Fortunately, the weather was dry on our visit, otherwise this would have been a disaster! Also, breakfast was a little disappointing. When breakfast is included in the tariff, you shouldn't have to pay an additional $15 for basic fried or poached eggs for example. So perhaps a few teething problems and worth returning."

It’s a beautiful, historic building with full amenities and warm, eager to please staff. "What a wonderful experience from the welcome when we first arrived. The guest house was just wonderful, bought me back to my childhood with the lounges and hallways decorated in an era gone by to the modern rooms totally renovated with comfortable and linens (including electric blankets). We were there for the Brigadoon weekend the guest house was decorated in the Scottish way, which was just lovely. The dinner on the Saturday night was fun and delicious. Piped in the haggis, which was tastefully prepared with mashed potato and swede Highly recommended"
