If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat for a short term. Our log home is large with 35-foot ceilings. It can feel drafty at times and when the temperatures drop the furnaces have a hard time keeping up. Our renovated, clean, lake house is for making memories with kids and grandkids. In addition to 3 bedrooms, there is a den with a trundle bed. Quiet spot on largest lake on a ten chain lake with some of the cleanest water in the Northwoods. Waterskiing, tubing, fishing, bonfires, watching sunset, playing games, and getting back to connected life. This lake is the anchor of our extended family and a source of stability for our kids. Ho-Chunk Lodge is a spacious home that has been completely remodeled in June 2018 with a large stone fireplace. Beautiful lakefront view with a sandy beach area for swimming and a community fire pit for campfires. The firewood is provided for the fireplace and fire pit. You will have your own pier space. It is a great location for enjoying all that northern Wisconsin has to offer all year round.Our home is good for couples, solo adventurers, families, big groups & furry friends.The complete remodel features all new log furnishings and new appliances throughout. The home has a large screened in porch with a flat screen tv and comfortable furniture for relaxing without the bugs. There is a full kitchen with dishwasher. We have a 55 inch flat screen television with cable and a dvd player in the living room. There are ceiling fans in the screen porch, master bedroom and upstairs hallway and central air. There are 2 bathrooms. 1 has a tub/shower & the other has a shower with plenty of hot water! Outside there is a picnic table and charcoal grill. We have lots of room for trailer parking right by your cabin.You have access to the resort grounds and your own pier with a bench. You can enjoy the lake with over 1600 acres and a small island with a sand bar. There are 2 other small lakes that connect to Big St. Germain that you can access. There is a newly-remodeled, heated fish cleaning house for you to use after a successful day of fishing!Connect to the famous Bo-Boen Snowmobile Trail and the St. Germain ATV Club Trail at the end of our private road. We also provide direct access to the lake in the winter for snowmobilers. There is plenty of parking space to accommodate your trailers, too.The St. Germain area is located halfway between Eagle River and Minocqua and is known for its many summer and winter activities. An immaculate 18-hole golf course is located nearby along with another 9-hole course and a par-3 course.
