"I rented an accessible room for almost $600 for 3 nights, except it wasn’t one. The toilet handrail too high, toilet too low. The handrail in the back of the toilet out of reach and completely useless. Shower had the shower head 6-7 feet high on right,the bath bench on the left wall 5 feet away. The faucet half way in the middle about 5 feet high. No counter space for the sink. Being quite mobile compared to people on wheelchair, I had a lot of trouble using the arrangement. There was absolutely no thinking behind construction of the bathroom…a hard to slide door with no handle included. Mattress, on the left side was very deep and uneven. Altogether, being usually independent, I had a lot of trouble with the setup which obviously was only very minimal ADA standard or not,and quite useless. I wouldn’t stay there any more, but the lesson of it was not to trust the ads and websites, and always check."
