Park Inn by Radisson Bournemouth

Park Inn by Radisson Bournemouth ★★★★

📍 Derby Rd, Boscombe

"Excellent location – only a 15-minute walk to the beach! The room is nice and clean. While there’s no air conditioner, there is a radiator and a fan provided. It cools down at night, so air conditioning isn’t really necessary."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the welcoming message to the warmest of goodbyes… What a beautiful place this is! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed, and sadly, the goodbye came far too quickly. Jane and Jed are an absolute asset to this wonderful place. Their warmth, friendliness and wealth of knowledge really made our stay special. The stories and history of the place are fascinating, and you can really feel the love and character that has gone into making it what it is. Our room was beautiful and completely unique, with everything you could possibly need. The attention to detail was fantastic. A kettle, hairdryer, a lovely cool room and all those little touches that make you feel comfortable and at home. And then there’s the breakfast! A cold buffet that just keeps giving — so much choice and everything beautifully presented. You certainly won’t leave hungry! Every room has its own WOW factor, and the whole place has such a wonderful character and charm. Jane and Jed’s knowledge of the local area was also invaluable, with plenty of recommendations and information to help us make the most of our stay. From start to finish, we couldn’t have asked for a more lovely experience. Thank you, Jane and Jed, for making us feel so welcome and for sharing your beautiful place with us. We will definitely be back! ❤️"

"Nice hotel. Perfect for holidays. it's near the beach, only ten minutes walk. And the AC was good enough for summer. Receptionists are super friendly."

"This review is about a special member of the staff called "Ayse" I used the lockers to leave my luggage so that I could see more of Bournemouth my last day. I love beach (swimming in sea water) but left my belongings for the beach inside my luggage thinking about the forecast that said that it would be a bad day. I went for a walk and realised that forecast was wrong. I came back to the hotel just in case I could take the clothes for swimming but didn't have hope as I read that once luggage is in the lockers you can't mess around even they may charge you again with new slot! Luckily I found this lovely and nice lady that understood my needs and thanks 🙏 to Aysa I could take them and also let me use the toilet to change my clothes. She really made my day and so greatful to her as It meant a lot to me to be my last day in sea water, swimming is like a therapy for me, as Im not having good days in the last months. Thank you so much and so sorry to the cleaner as I took more time to get changed as I have my monthly women thing. Thank you so much again Aysa. We need more people like her in this world that shows how to be empathetic and understanding."

Boscombe Spa Hotel ★★★

"DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE — One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had I genuinely wish I had read a review like this before booking. If you are considering staying here, please look carefully at the photos I have uploaded. They show the reality. This was not simply a “basic” or “budget” hotel. The condition was unacceptable. The worst problem was the awful sewage smell coming from the bathroom, which affected the entire room. The bathroom was unbelievably small and badly designed. You could not properly close the door and sit on the toilet normally at the same time. If you closed the door, you literally had to keep one leg outside because there was not enough space. Even washing your face or brushing your teeth was a struggle. As a left-handed person, my left arm constantly hit the wall; a right-handed person would hit the shower glass. There was simply no proper space around the sink. I had to twist my arm awkwardly just to wash my face and brush my teeth, and my arm/hand was painful for several days afterwards. The cleanliness was equally shocking. The sheets were visibly stained, dirty-looking and worn out, and the mattress and bedding smelled. There were also insects on the mattress and around the window. The room had clearly not been properly dusted: the mirror and surfaces had a visible layer of dust, with dust throughout the room. The towels were terrible — the bath towels and hand/face towels were grey, extremely cheap, thin and worn out, nothing like clean, decent hotel towels. Everything provided in the room, from the electric kettle to the other basic equipment, looked like the cheapest possible quality. The whole property felt neglected and poorly maintained. There was no proper reception. We were simply given keys and had to open the front entrance and our room ourselves, almost like entering an old private house. The locks were extremely old and difficult to operate, which did not feel secure or professional. Another frustrating point: the property required a minimum two-night stay. At the time I did not understand why, but after staying there, I honestly did. This is the kind of place where guests may want to leave after the first night rather than stay longer, so being unable to book just one night was extremely frustrating. This is not about expecting luxury from a budget property. Clean bedding, decent towels, basic cleanliness, a usable bathroom, dust-free surfaces, functioning locks and a properly maintained room are basic hotel standards. I have photographed these problems and will upload the photos. Please look at them yourself — I am not exaggerating. If cleanliness, hygiene, privacy and basic comfort matter to you, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this place to anyone. Please think twice before booking."

"This place gave me bed bug bites. I emailed the company, but they never replied and just ignored it. The facilities are a bit old, the AC leaks, and the hygiene is really questionable. I highly, highly don't recommend it. For the same price, you can find a much better place."

"Friendly & helpful staff, clean & spacious room and excellent food. Great location, a walk across the road to get the bus into town. A five mins walk to the train station for bus to Winton or train to Poole."

Boscombe Spa Hotel ★★★
"The place could do with a lick of paint and I found it odd that my room was cleaned/replenished one day and not the other but the staff were nice and happy to attend to requests. The room was comfortable for a few nights and the hotel is just a short walk from the high street and beachfront."
