"I’m very sensitive and find travel difficult due to chemicals, EMF and limited food choices. Hotel Goldener Berg was perfect for me on all levels and beyond. My room was beautiful (with the most amazing views of the alps - see photos) and had no chemical smell. They’re eco certified so all products are good for sensitive types. There’s a switch to turn power off in the room for electrical detox. I did this at night and slept so well. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many healthy options (even a make your own fresh juice station) as well as more traditional buffet food. All extremely high quality and delicious. The restaurant was accommodating to my dietary requirements and the food there was beautiful also. There’s a tea station where you can brew your own herbal teas with dozens of options! The saunas were the nicest I’ve experienced, pristinely clean and the traditional one was really hot. They also have a lower temperature bio sauna with herbal infusions. The staff were courteous and friendly, every detail has been thought of here. It really was perfect. I highly recommended a visit here in the summer time if you enjoy nature, hiking, yoga, spa treatments or just relaxing in a beautiful place with clean air. I feel so good after my stay here :)"

"The location is really great. Note that you have to drive up the mountain. I would really be careful here, as it gets very narrow in places. The hotel itself is great, the rooms invite you to linger and relax. We slept very comfortably and were able to relax well! The wellness options are also great. A walk in the garden is also food for the soul. The prices are appropriate, however, and you have to pay for this quality. Only the breakfast did not live up to this high standard. Nevertheless, the resort can be clearly recommended! Tip: Park opposite the hotel. These parking spaces are completely free, unlike the parking garage!"

"A lovely hotel- beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay as convenient as possible. The Food was excellent, the choices for breakfast and dinner were various and very tasty. The room was spacious and mine had a beautiful view of the mountains. The hotel is easy to reach and it’s very convenient to get to various access points to the slopes in the surrounding area within just a few miles. I would come back in a heartbeat."

"Everything is run like clockwork, very efficient, very professional as well as very friendly. There is a nice, relaxed vibe to this hotel. The food is amazing.... everything you need for breakfast ( though the coffee was a bit disappointing for some reason and the filter coffee was often lukewarm), and the dinners are a 6 course feast. The soups are incredible and the salad buffet is so fresh. The little tapas style plates of morsels are so elegant and refined as well as tasty. One suggestion though to the hotel is to lay out 2 knives on the table at breakfast .... I found myself with jam flavoured egg and bacon at times from using the same knife! Travelling solo, I was in a single room.... nothing spectacular but functional with plenty of storage space, a comfy bed, a safe, and a walk in shower in the en-suite. The view from the balcony though was beautiful and scenic. The swimming pool is lovely and set in a beautiful room. It's about 15 metres long so plenty long enough to get a good work out on each length. Perfect for building up an appetite before breakfast ! The rest of the wellness area also looks very fine though didn't use. The hotel's location is good. There's a spar supermarket 50 metres away. It's in the middle of Schruns so easy to have a walk round the pretty town. It's about a 3 or 4 minute walk to the train station where many of the various ski buses depart from, and there's another ski bus stop 3 minutes away in the other direction. It's about a 6 to 7 minute walk from the hotel to the local gondola station. All in all, if you're visiting this area ( my first time in the Montafon area and it surpassed expectations ), I would throughly recommend this hotel. It's superb and I'd certainly go back again."
