"Favehotel is easily the best and most reliable place to stay in Bitung. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, with friendly staff who make you feel welcome. Their breakfast is surprisingly good with plenty of choices to start the day right. It’s also the only hotel in Bitung with a swimming pool, which is perfect for relaxing after work or exploring. Overall, the only true hotel standard in the city."

"We stayed at this hotel while doing macro diving in Lembeh. Advantages: The partner dive shop in Cocotinos is Odyssea Divers, and the dive guides are excellent. The rooms were very clean. The water pressure and temperature were fantastic. The hotel view was quite beautiful. Disadvantages: We stayed in room 10, which had floor-to-ceiling windows facing a main road, making it extremely noisy. Out of six nights we stayed, there was disco music across the street three nights, burning trash outside the door one night, and the rest of the time there was constant motorcycle engine noise. The room door faced the front desk, so we could hear all the conversations at the front desk every day. The soundproofing was really bad. If you book this hotel, it's best to communicate in advance to avoid room 10. The food wasn't great. We ate too much the first morning and had to rest all day. Then, starting on Friday, they kept telling us that this and that was unavailable, but we could only go shopping the following Tuesday. By Sunday, they showed us a long list of ingredients that were completely unavailable, and by Monday, only a few dishes were left to order. We had to wait a long time for meals, but the food wasn't very hot when it arrived; I don't know what they were doing. It's annoying to have to reconnect to Wi-Fi more than ten times a day."

"From the moment we were picked up at the airport and our return to, we were greeted with smiles and good service, nothing was ever too much trouble. The resort is lovely with lots of bungalows, restaurant and swimming pool. Food was great with lots of new flavours to be tried with plenty of variety and fresh fruit at each meal. The dive boats were small but comfortable & returned to the resort after each dive. Due to the location of this resort the dive sites are close by. Our boat crew & dive guide were quick to help and full of smiles which goes a long way to making a 'happy dive'. Lembeh is a great place to dive, and we came home with some great photos. Overall, a great experience and our 2nd visit to Lembeh."

"K2 was such a highlight of my travels through Indonesia! They were so friendly and accommodating. Right from the start, my flight was delayed and I worried I wouldn’t be able to meet the arranged transport, but they picked me up and delivered me to the resort at 1 in the morning! There was even a sandwich waiting in my room for me. From there on out, I was taken care of, from the delicious meals to the dive guides finding my favorite creatures. I was even able to borrow a camera to capture all of the tiny sea life and now I’m hooked on macro! I cannot recommend K2 enough, and I can’t wait to come back!"

"The hotel was clean and there was a water server in the room, which was a relief. The diving spot was close by, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was also reassuring to have a guide who spoke Japanese. The food menu was extensive and everything was delicious. The airport transfer was also cheaper than a taxi. I'd like to visit again during the dry season."
