"My wife stayed at this hotel for only one night and, overall, had a pleasant impression. The room was quite spacious, and the mattress on the bed was very comfortable, so she was able to get a good rest. In the room, she saw a promotional brochure with a Korean menu and decided to order room service. However, it turned out that the menu was no longer up to date. This raises the question: why are such brochures still being left in the rooms? She was offered another dish, and overall it was tasty, but it was served not hot, just warm, which affected the overall impression. During check-in, the reception staff informed her that there was no bottled water in the room and that water could be taken from a cooler on the floor. I would personally like to know what quality this water is: whether it is filtered and how safe it is to drink. This point also left a negative impression. When my wife returned to the room with water from the cooler in the corridor, she faced another problem: the door was extremely difficult to open. She could not get into the room by herself and had to go back down to reception. A staff member came upstairs with her and helped open the door. Despite the issues mentioned above, the staff were polite and helpful, and the room itself left my wife with a pleasant impression. I hope the hotel will pay attention to these points, as they are completely fixable and could make guests’ stays even more comfortable. Otherwise, the hotel is likely to receive many negative reviews."

"K2 was such a highlight of my travels through Indonesia! They were so friendly and accommodating. Right from the start, my flight was delayed and I worried I wouldn’t be able to meet the arranged transport, but they picked me up and delivered me to the resort at 1 in the morning! There was even a sandwich waiting in my room for me. From there on out, I was taken care of, from the delicious meals to the dive guides finding my favorite creatures. I was even able to borrow a camera to capture all of the tiny sea life and now I’m hooked on macro! I cannot recommend K2 enough, and I can’t wait to come back!"

"Amazing wildlife. We have just returned from a brilliant trip to Tangkoko Hills. This is a very laid-back place to stay where you need to go with the flow. It has a nice airy restaurant serving great local fresh food. Stefen ensured we had excellent guides. We went on a boat trip along the coast and up a freshwater creek with Biyong to see some lovely kingfishers and saw a white-bellied sea eagle. The trip to Tangkoko park was outstanding, we saw so many black-crested macaques - it was so special see them hanging out in such large family groups. Our guides Raphael and Aria were so good at spotting - they found green-backed kingfishers and lilac, as well as bear couscous and in the evening the super springy tarsiers as well as tarantulas and even a yellow-sided flowerpecker sleeping bird! There are some lovely butterflies as well. This is a great place to access some incredible wildlife. Rooms are clean and airy with a nice verandah and aircon."

"From the moment we were picked up at the airport and our return to, we were greeted with smiles and good service, nothing was ever too much trouble. The resort is lovely with lots of bungalows, restaurant and swimming pool. Food was great with lots of new flavours to be tried with plenty of variety and fresh fruit at each meal. The dive boats were small but comfortable & returned to the resort after each dive. Due to the location of this resort the dive sites are close by. Our boat crew & dive guide were quick to help and full of smiles which goes a long way to making a 'happy dive'. Lembeh is a great place to dive, and we came home with some great photos. Overall, a great experience and our 2nd visit to Lembeh."
