"From check-in to departure I was satisfied around – a successful stay! Specially practical is the private parking right at the house: That made the arrival and departure with baggage incredibly easy and relaxed. The rooms are mostly freshly renovated and very well equipped. I particularly liked the generous clothing rack – just when longer stays a real plus point. Also culinary convinced the house: the dining in the restaurant was delicious and the portions absolutely sufficient. The breakfast buffet did not open any wishes and also offered vegetarians everything you want. The service was impressive: the team is quite friendly, careful and very fast. I was provided something to eat even outside the regular kitchen times – I call personal and perfect service! I recommend the Heidehotel Bockelmann to continue and to come back."

"A very nice hotel in a quiet rural location. Very friendly reception, rooms and bathroom clean and OK. Beautiful outdoor terrace. Eating in the restaurant very tasty, many dishes with wild, all regional products! Price performance very good. Service friendly, though occasionally somewhat disoriented. Excellent breakfast, everything the heart wants, even salmon and sect. Only the breads could be a little better, but we're not sorry at a high level. We were just here for a stop, but we could imagine a few days of holiday here."

"The first time we were really a bit disappointed in a center parcs and we have already done a lot. The house and especially the shower were not clean at all. The shop had strange opening hours. The aquadome and high ropes course were the highlights of the park. For food and drinks inside the dome you really had to be very patient. The quality was still okay. Staff hardly spoke English either. Yes, just everything was not at the level we are used to in a center parcs"

"The location is beautiful, and the menu is varied. The Beef Schnitzel is special (not cheap). The Band Nudels with Pfefferlingen are vegetarian. The food looks fantastic and tastes exquisite. So why not a top rating with five stars? Before eating, I wanted to wash my hands and discovered there was no soap in the dispenser. I washed my hands in the accessible toilet and immediately reported that the soap dispenser was broken or empty. After eating, I wanted to wash my hands again, and the dispenser was still broken or empty. A shame, but there goes a five-star rating."
