"A good, clean, and very friendly place with a bar/restaurant on the bottom floor. The room could have been a bit larger, but it was OK. Breakfast was great! Interesting that every guest had their numbered table and a thermos with hot coffee on the table waiting. A coffee machine with espresso etc. was also available. I would come again."

Hotel Bispinger Heide by Center Parcs ★★★

"We were very apprehensive about travelling to Germany due to Covid. We had tried to email Center Parcs in Germany before our visit but it took them 2 months to reply to our email. There is no way of contacting them via the telephone. We were at center Parc in Bispingen for 10 nights and were only able to use the swimming pool twice, which we had to book in advance. I understand the difficulty with Covid but we weren’t offered any compensation of vouchers to use on other activities which were very expensive. When we booked center Parcs in Bispingen we expected to be able to use the pool (included in the price) everyday to keep the children entertained. Instead we had to pay out for them to do other activities. They did not cater for English people as all of the entertainment was either in German or Dutch. The accommodation was awful. I had to sleep in the lounge every night as the mould on the bedroom walls affected my asthma. The lodges are extremely damp and we travelled in August with really hot weather. The shuttle which takes you around the park and into town also wasn’t working. I would not return."
