Royal Ushaka Hotel Morningside ★★★
"I am happy with everything; the room was clean. I am happy with everything; the room was clean. 100%"
Roseland House ★★★★
"Smaller than expected. As you walk in. Greeted by a nasty disgusting sweat stained couch that looks like it was brought from a dump. When I asked the host to please bring a blanket to cover the couch. They said sure thing. And never returned. Toilet was cracked. Shower door on last legs. Bedroom and bathroom the walls and ceiling where moulded. Bed had stains in it. The blanket ontop of the bed was very used and abused. Then other tenants just come home at all times of the evening and morning making hell of a noise. 3 good things. Bed was comfy. Shower was amazing besides the door. And Sanele who checked us out on Saturday morning was very very pleasant to deal with. "
Coastlands Musgrave Hotel and Convention Centre ★★★★
"The Hotel is great, the location is close to alot of amenities. The stuff was helpful"
268 on Ridge Guesthouse ★★★
"This accommodation is basic but neat and comfortable. We arrived late in the evening but there was someone waiting to receive us. The garden rooms are small but we were just looking for a decent shower, toilet and a comfortable place to sleep. There is DSTV. The parking was fine and safe. Some items like furniture may need some repair or replacement. I can overlook the minor repair issues based on the need just to have a clean and neat place to sleep over"
Madeline Grove Bed & Breakfast ★★★
"the best stay with my children, service was tops, the ladies (Staff) were friendly and the best 2 gentlemen (managers) assisted us with everything, and we were happy, the place its clean and beautiful, most the is a peace of mind. even referred a friend same day was leaving excellent service indeed"
Emakhosini Hotel on East ★★★
"Very outdated, elevator problems, no actual shower, no smart tv and no DSTV, no actual king bed (just two beds made into one) and the aircon is there for decoration😂😂💀"
Mackaya Bella Guest House ★★★★
"I truly enjoyed my stay here the staff was so friendly, I felt at home. They would check in constantly showing they care about us while we staying there. I truly recommend this place. It is so beautiful and clean. The food was great. Definitely 10/10. "
Grange Gardens Hotel ★★★
"Hotel with no power back up system ,relying to municipality but rendering a Hotel service they need to improve for a better customer service"

Albion Manor
"I had the best time of my life living in this manor, wish I could stay there forever. Very friendly staff, clean neat and tidy rooms, only disappointment was having accross the road and not being able to visit it."
Acorn B&B in Durban
"Where to start. Breakfast dad not up to standard as the cereal was stale and tasted like cardboard Frogs croaking throughout the night with a green pool Bedroom didn't have a shower Endless issues, I can continue for hours"
Emakhosini Boutique Hotel
Saint James on Venice
"Very clean place, big rooms and helpful staff Coming back soon Breakfast was so good Felt very comfortable "
Sica's Guest House
"Definitely coming back here again with my kids next time, wonderful place, clean, specious rooms, peaceful, friendly staff and excellent breakfast 😍 👌 "
Mesami Hotel
"Modern hotel, spacious room, good English breakfast. The quality of the welcome is very variable: sometimes professional and pleasant, sometimes unpleasant and impertinent. The area is quiet, residential and ultra secure but it is strongly advised not to go out on foot because it is surrounded by sensitive areas. To go to the city center or even to dine a few blocks away, you have to go by taxi. It is better to stay on Marine Parade"
Luxe on Ridge Boutique Hotel
"We stayed recently for a friends wedding that was happening in Durban. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. In particular, Shanice went out of her way to help us a number of times and really improved our experience. I left a pair of AirPods behind and after I had left she helped to locate them. The only room for improvement would be the hotel breakfast which didn’t always have many vegetarian options"
Ridgeview Lodge
"My husband and I agreed that this was our favorite accommodation during our 2.5 week stay around South Africa. The property is a beautiful, historic lodge with pleasing architectural features and decor and a stunning view of the harbor. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the room and its bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The proprietor Vasantha made great suggestions for our stay. We lacked for nothing. It was like staying in someone's beautiful home, but with plenty of privacy and autonomy. An oasis."
Coweys Corner
"My boyfriend and I always book there if we’ll be around Durban! The owner & the staff always accommodate our needs! The best B&B in Durban! The breakfast is always exceptional! The staff make sure to clean our rooms every time we leave the place, the breakfast has a variety to pick from! It’s so peaceful & quiet! Love it here!"
