The hotel already shows considerable maintenance needs, with dilapidated furniture and a lack of essential kitchen equipment. Apart from that, the location and area are very good, the staff are super friendly, and they organize many activities."

"We stayed in hotel Almeji as part of a cycle tour. We booked the night before and the hotel were very welcoming. They could not do enough and nothing was too much effort. They opened the restaurant to provide us an evening meal and Aldo provided a great breakfast. The building itself is very interesting with the old olive press and other equipment in the hotel. The rooms have a great view over the valley. Would recommend as a must if staying in the area."

"The bedrooms were beautifully decorated in the rustic style, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms lovely. The shower worked perfectly which is not always the case. The restaurant on the terrace was very atmospheric, the menu and wine list first class. Really tasty food and good wine, and breakfast was excellent too. Apart from a slightly odd (and unstaffed) reception, I couldnt fault this hotel and hope to return soon."
