Malligi,Hampi ★★★★
"Lovely Ambience, humble staff, neat rooms, beautiful view..overall a good experience , promt service, desk guided us in a proper way"
Heritage Resort Hampi ★★★★
"Stayed 4 nights - very well run hotel, efficient & friendly staff, everything works in the room (not always the case), great shower, hot water etc & very clean. Lovely gardens & beautiful pool - mostly empty by day as everyone is out looking at the ruins. Food exceptional - we chose not to eat the buffet & dinner was served promptly even though the dining room was busy. Booked a hotel transfer to/from Hubli airport - reasonable price - & special mention to Tuktuk Manju - the hotel’s own tuktuk driver who we employed for 3 days to take us to the ruins. We chose not to use a guide but Manju gave us enough information & left us to visit the sites alone, organised our visits & made sure we didn’t miss anything of importance. Note - rather than rushing through things we visited in 2/3 hour chunks, twice a day with downtime back at the pool in between times which worked well for us - 6 sessions in all. Would certainly recommend."
Clarks Inn Hampi ★★★
"Clarks Hampi is a very functional hotel Not many frills but if you want to spend 2 nights in Hampi , its just 4 kms away from monuments so one doesnt need to travel far. When I have visited this hotel on both occasions , the tourist numbers were limited in Hampi - therefore my experience is also based on the hotel not having full booking"
Hyatt Place Hampi ★★★★
"Kevin & Mounika were good! They took care of the guests. The Hotel was clean & good. The township where the hotel is situated is very beautiful."
Royal Orchid Central Kireeti-Hampi Hospet ★★★★
"Lovely stay during my visit to Hampi at Royal orchid central Kireeti. Lovely staffs with top notch Hospitality. My Special thanks to Housekeeping Team had decorated my room for my wife's birthday."
Evolve Back Hampi ★★★★★
"The first impression is not great; the road to the hotel is dirt at first, then some type of cobblestone. That impression changes quickly when you get to the entrance. The entrance looks like the entrance you would expect for a palace. On reaching the entrance, the security checked our name against the arrivals list, then a costumed colleague hit a big gong, and rose petals showered down from above. We proceeded to the hotel proper. At the covered entrance, a group of 4 met us with a diya, Jasmine flower garlands, and wished us welcome. A bellman unloaded our baggage and tagged it for delivery to our room. We were seated in the lobby, checked into the hotel, and provided with a welcome drink. We were then escorted to our room. From what I could tell, all guest rooms are on the 2nd floor. Great impression of the room, vibes of an old-time palace. The room was fully equipped with a modern bathroom; there is also a jacuzzi tub for individual or couples' use. We went down to the buffet restaurant to check about dinner, and asked about the other restaurant. The hostess took it as her mission to get us a table at the other restaurant, which requires reservations, then personally walked us over. First impression of customer service exceeded expectations. The food at both restaurants was excellent; the challenge was choosing from a big selection. In the morning we had breakfast, then met with the hotel historian who helped us plan out things to see in the Hampi area, including suggesting a schedule to visit the popular sights before the weekend crowds came into the area. In the evening, we again met with the historian who is also a naturalist, and went on a walk of the hotel grounds for bird watching, then the same in the adjacent nature reserve that is also part of the hotel grounds. The organized events included a talk by another historian about Hampi and the history of the area. We were at the Evolve Back Hampi Hotel for 3 nights; it was a great experience."
Hotel Rock Regency Hampi ★★★
"The ambience in the room not good. The beds are not comfortable. The quality of service needs to improve. Overall it is not worth the price."
Vijayshree Resort, Hampi ★★★★★
"I rarely write such harsh reviews, but my stay at Vijayashree Resort & Heritage Village was one of the worst hospitality experiences of my life. We paid ₹18,000 per night per room and booked 2 rooms for the night of the 29th. Calling this place a scam may sound exaggerated—but read on to understand why. Not Even Basic Hospitality While the property infrastructure looks good, it is completely ruined by zero maintenance and pathetic service. This hotel operates like a third-grade lodge charging 5-star prices. >No towels in the room on arrival. Had to request multiple times. >Intercom was not working and remained unfixed despite repeated complaints. >Room doors don’t close properly—the mechanism is jammed, the wood is worn out, and anyone can easily peek inside. This is a serious privacy and safety issue, unacceptable for a so-called luxury resort. >For ₹18,000 a night, there were no laundry bags, no comb, no vanity items—just a basic toothpaste and soap gel. Incompetent Room Service & Restaurant >Tea bags were missing and were never refilled despite multiple calls. I literally had to borrow tea bags from a nearby room. >Wi-Fi password was not provided at all. >Intercom instructions are wrong. The numbers mentioned don’t work. Random numbers work instead—clearly no one cares. Now the food, which deserves special mention—for all the wrong reasons: >₹350 curd rice served frozen and without salt. Even roadside food tastes better. >Ordered food at 6:30 PM—told the restaurant was “closed”. >Menu says restaurant opens at 7 PM. >Called at 7—asked rudely to call at 7:30 PM. >Ordered at 7:30—food arrived only at 8:30 PM after multiple follow-ups. >White pasta was declared unavailable ONE HOUR AFTER ordering. >Only milk was delivered initially. The rest was forgotten. This level of chaos is unacceptable even in a budget hotel, forget a 5-star resort. Staff Attitude: “Not My Problem” >No greeting at check-in, no welcome drink, no courtesy. >Staff behave as if guests are a burden. >Every interaction ends with a silent message: “This is not my job.” Overpriced, Underwhelming, and Misleading I checked recent reviews later and realized many guests have reported the same issues. Nothing has changed, which shows the management simply doesn’t care. This stay cost me nearly ₹35,000, which feels completely wasted. In fact, calling it “cost” is generous—I feel cheated. I had initially planned to extend my stay, but after this experience, I checked out early and moved to another hotel in Anegundi, which was far better in every possible way. This is not a 5-star hotel. It is a poorly managed, overpriced property running purely on misleading branding. I will never book this brand again, even in other cities. One of the worst decisions of my life. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place completely."
Hotel Priyadarshini Classic ★★★
"This hotel is top class hotel for family which has got 2 separate, veg and non veg restaurant. Lot of tress around but still on main road in hospet. We stayed here for 2 night and we enjoyed our sta. Nevedyam veg restaurant is very good for breakfast and meals. Very clean and family friendly ambiance. Huge parking place. They are slow in room service but we preferred going in their restaurant."
