InterContinental Properties in Beijing

Every time I visit Beijing with my kids, I choose InterContinental. It's just across the street from Sanlitun, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Plus, there are two subway stations nearby, so getting anywhere is a breeze. The room was comfortable, quiet, and spotless, with great natural light. Mika Flora, one of the staff members, was incredibly gentle and responsible, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The hotel's breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the service was prompt. My only suggestion would be to improve the quality and variety of pastries in the dessert section. For instance, most hotel restaurants seem to have savory floss bread, and adding more sweet and savory options could make the selection even richer.

To fulfill my wife's dream of attending the Mayday concert at the Bird's Nest, I meticulously searched and finally settled on the InterContinental Beijing Beichen, the closest hotel within walking distance to the stadium. As an IHG loyal member, I was impressed that Cherry called me two days before check-in to confirm my needs. She even upgraded us to a room with a view of both the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube, which was fantastic! The room was huge, and the facilities were well-maintained. After the concert, it was just a 500-meter walk back to the hotel. It was a perfect experience, 100% satisfied!
