The room was quite spacious, and the bed was large, soft, and very comfortable. The turndown service included a special local snack which was really tasty.

The facilities are old, but honestly, there aren't many new hotels in Beijing. I booked this place for a concert. The room, which cost over 1000, was decent but nothing special. You have to pay for parking during the day, but it's waived at night, which is the first I've heard of it and super weird. Breakfast was so-so; it had everything you'd expect. If you're not here for a concert, there's no need to stay here; an Atour or Hanting would be perfectly sufficient.

The hotel is right next to the Bird's Nest, which was super convenient for the concert – I could just walk there. Even with the rain, Kamine thoughtfully reminded us to bring raincoats, and she was always patient and helpful with my many requests. The hotel gym and heated pool are great facilities, and the nearby subway makes getting around easy. It's truly comfortable for an extended stay. I'll definitely book here again next time I'm in Beijing.

I'd 100% recommend this place if you're going to a concert. The service is great, and it's a comfortable, easy walk back after the show.

It was my zodiac year birthday, and Jolin Tsai was having a concert in Beijing, so naturally, I chose to stay at the InterContinental Beichen. The hotel upgraded me to a suite, and the Bird's Nest view was stunning. The toiletries were also very pleasing. The breakfast buffet on the first floor had a great variety, including poached eggs! It's only a 10-minute walk to the Bird's Nest, which is super convenient, and even closer to Beichen Hui. The hotel service was unexpectedly good; I truly felt at home. Whether it was the doorman, front desk, concierge, or restaurant staff, everyone offered smiling and proactive service.

Service: The staff were very friendly. Cleanliness: Clean and odorless. Environment: Great open view of the Bird's Nest stadium. Room facilities are also relatively new, and the whole space is comfortable and cozy.

I chose to stay at the Intercontinental Hotel for the concert. As an established hotel, its main advantage is its close proximity to the Bird's Nest. However, despite being a five-star hotel, I didn't receive any birthday amenities for being a member on my birthday, nor were any hotel restaurant coupons offered. Perhaps because of the concert, rooms were scarce, and I didn't get an upgrade. After the concert, all hotel restaurants, including the bar, were only open until 11 PM.

Came to Beijing for a concert and staying at the InterContinental was incredibly convenient. The venue was just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The room was really spacious, and even though the hotel has been open for a while, it was clean. Overall, it was a great stay. If you're coming to the Olympic Sports Center area for a concert, North Star is a great choice.

Had a great stay, especially thanks to Ann at the service center. She was incredibly kind and polite, handled all our requests promptly and reliably, and even helped us with a late check-out. Professional and warm—she was absolutely lovely!
