GGuest UserTo experience the authentic courtyard atmosphere, I specifically chose the hotel's Hutong Suite. Outside, Beijing was freezing, but as soon as I entered the room, I was instantly warmed. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and in the evening, they even provided a complimentary wellness tea and special small snacks, which was a very thoughtful touch! In the morning, I also enjoyed the hotel's breakfast in-room dining service, recharging for the day in the ancient-style room. A special shout-out to Chloe and Willow, thank you for your warm and attentive service. I will definitely choose to stay here again next season!

AAnonymous UserGreat service and good sanitation. It was a wonderful experience to stay in a Beijing hutong and live like a local. The hotel is very close to Beijing Railway Station and Jianguomen subway, making transportation super convenient. The restaurant's shao bing (sesame flatbread) was delicious. Overall, a great place for food, accommodation, and getting around.

AAnonymous UserBaoshun Residence|Thousands of families donate gold and thousands of craftsmen polish colored glaze💛 Accompany the children to pursue the beauty of colored glaze in the glittering light Taking the kids with you in the summer vacation is not only fun You can also experience another feeling Increase the children's knowledge and cognition👣 After staying in Baoshun Residence for two days Xiao Si experienced the intangible cultural heritage The process of firing colored glaze Also visited the Royal Colored Glaze Museum Followed the curator to learn about the history of colored glaze It is very meaningful All the colored glaze in Beijing during the Qianlong period was fired here Without the Liuliqu, there would be no glittering light of the Forbidden City This ancient street is also the only yellow colored glaze roofed building in Beijing🏯 Baoshun Residence is an ancient house left over from the Qing Dynasty It has been transformed into a boutique homestay The three historical styles of Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties run through here. The whole courtyard has a great feeling whether it is raining or sunny. There are 🛝themed rooms in the room. It is clean and unique. It is suitable for spring, summer, autumn and winter. Camping in early summer⛺️Picking garden🍒 Water splashing festival in Liuli Star Valley in hot summer💦 Turn on floor heating in the house in autumn and winter to avoid winter. It is even more memorable to see the appreciation❄️ By the way, there is also a music festival starting on August 8th🤟 I strongly recommend dining at Baoshun House. The chef is Zhang Hengming, a famous chef👨🏻🍳who has won the top ten Chinese cooking masters👍 and made a delicious dinner that combines Chinese and Western cuisine🍴The taste is great😋 When the sun goes down, put on the court costumes carefully prepared by the manager Feel the fun of time travel The rise of Mentougou cultural tourism #Beijing Parent-child Tour #Mentougou B&B #Royal Liuli Pavilion #Baoshun House #Mentougou Music Festival #Liuli Star Valley

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the National Museum, all within walking distance, which saved us a lot of hassle. The room was clean, and when we checked in, they even helped deliver our luggage to the room. The mini-bar was complimentary and refilled daily. On one of the days, it was my mom's birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully sent a birthday cake, which made her very happy. There are many dining options nearby, and a wide selection of takeaways, though you do have to pick up your own delivery from the takeaway locker on the first floor. I highly recommend the Grand Hotel Beijing for anyone visiting.

GGuest UserWe booked a package that included dinner. The dinner was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of cold and hot dishes, main courses, and soup. There were several options, a good mix of meat and vegetables, and everything was very well prepared. Breakfast was a set menu, but it was incredibly rich in variety. It included beef noodles, wontons, preserved vegetable steamed buns, pancakes, steamed dumplings, congee, and fried dough sticks (youtiao). At the counter, there were also self-service fruits, bread, tea, coffee, yogurt, and tofu pudding. You could ask for more of anything whenever you wanted. The large youtiao, in particular, were freshly fried and exceptionally tasty. My family even asked for another one and thoroughly enjoyed it. I honestly think the dining experience here was a pleasant surprise; dinner was fantastic, and even though breakfast wasn't a buffet, every item was carefully prepared, and you could feel the effort put into it. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were polite, enthusiastic, and patiently considerate of the guests. We also tried the craft workshop included in the package, which was quite interesting. The botanical garden was nice too. The only downside was that Beijing was extremely hot, and the room was also very warm; even with the air conditioning on, the temperature wouldn't drop. We ended up opening the windows, and it cooled down during the night.

GGuest UserThe environment is truly lovely. On May 2nd, there were various cultural activities organized by Beijing's Bureau of Culture and Tourism at Junwangfu, which made the courtyard exceptionally charming and atmospheric. The accommodation itself is quite average, about a 3-star standard; the main experience here is really about the grand Wangfu compound itself. Chaoyang Park next door is highly recommended if you're with kids; the adventurer experience there is fantastic, with different levels for junior, intermediate, and advanced ages. Superb!
