On July 7th, a group of friends traveled to Kanas Scenic Area. Passing through the Northwest First Village of Baihaba, we checked into the Guanshan Xiaoshu B&B. Because Baihaba Village is located near the border, starting in April 2025, visitors must park their own vehicles in the public parking lot outside the village. Access to the village's B&Bs and mountain resorts will require free shuttle buses from the visitor center, which first depart at 8:00 AM and last at 11:00 PM. Fortunately, the Guanshan Xiaoshu B&B we booked was about 100 meters from the village's public parking lot. The B&B, newly opened in 2025, is owned by a young, handsome, affable, and courteous owner with a unique entrepreneurial vision. He leads his team in outsourcing their own breakfast, lunch, and dinner restaurant, providing a comprehensive service for visitors. Because the road leading into Baihaba Village was bumpy and uneven, we arrived at the inn after 8 PM that day. Following local village committee regulations, we parked our car in the village's public parking lot. Although the inn wasn't far from the guesthouse, we had a lot of luggage, so we contacted the front desk staff. The owner dispatched an electric truck to pick up our suitcases in about 15 minutes. The inn is a wooden structure with twin beds and family rooms. The rooms are brand new, with separate wet and dry bathrooms, underfloor heating, and an electric water heater. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and toiletries are fully stocked, including disposable towels. The front yard also features a tea table, chairs, and a swing. It's an ideal inn for road trips and family trips, and we give it a five-star rating!
