"I originally booked a more expensive room type, at 518 per night. It turned out to be an attic extension, and the starry sky ceiling shown in the pictures was a complete lie. The room had a strange smell, and there was dust everywhere around the bed. The hygiene was terrible, and I couldn't sleep comfortably all night. There was also a lack of oxygen. Breakfast was very poor. We ordered hotpot at the hotel restaurant, and it wasn't fresh; everyone got diarrhea after eating it. I've been in Tibet for so long and never stayed in such a bad place. "I would like to thank the hotel staff for saving my life. I checked into the hotel the night I left Namtso. I fell asleep again not long after getting up the next day because of lack of oxygen in Namtso the day before. Fortunately, the hotel staff found me in time and sent me to Bange County People's Hospital. My blood oxygen level was already 40% at that time. The hotel staff patiently persuaded me to transfer me from Bange County to Lhasa People's Hospital. The next day, another staff member drove my rented car to Lhasa for me for a fee, so that I could evacuate safely from the plateau in time."
