I would highly recommend Changdi Inn, housed in a family owned tulou in a peaceful spot by the river in the village. a very unique experience! Our host Steven spoke great English and was the most friendly and helpful host. Our dinner was prepared by the mother and we could enjoy that and breakfast in the tulou courtyard. Very special !

The room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. The only downside was the pillows were too soft – one was flat, two were piled high – but thankfully I only stayed one night. It was fascinating to fully experience the century-old charm of the Tulou, with its uneven stairs and creaking corridors. Because the Tulou elements have been maximized here, even though it was the off-season and not many people were around, you could still hear footsteps at night. Light sleepers might want to consider this. Breakfast felt very ceremonial, and it was great for photos whether you were on the ground floor or in the corridor. Tips: 1. As this is accommodation within a scenic area, you need to buy an entrance ticket. Private cars can only park in the villager's parking lot in front of the guesthouse after 4 PM. 2. The commercial atmosphere in the scenic area isn't too strong yet; the villagers' lives are quite authentic, and the environment is very natural. Be sure to use mosquito repellent and wear long sleeves, especially at night. There are always small, unknown flying insects that will stick to you. 3. You might see termites inside the guesthouse, even though they've treated it. After all, with earthen walls, there are always gaps around the beds where they can get in. If this bothers you, bring disposable bedding.

The hotel is facing Guanzhang Mountain and the scenery is beautiful! The front desk upgraded me to a room where I saw Guanzhang Mountain. I can enjoy the Guanzhang Mountain view from the balcony. It's great! The hotel is large and well-equipped. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools. You can take a pool view without swimming. Breakfast is very rich, there are Liancheng snacks, steamed sweet potatoes are very delicious. The homestay is located in the Tulou Prince Scenic Area, in the center of the Tulou Group, quiet in the middle of noisy. The boss is the fourth generation of the owner of the century-old Zhencheng Building. He cooks good dishes, delicious and reliable. He stayed with friends for 3 nights during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival and 2 dinners at his house. You can ask the proprietress to take the time to explain the history and characteristics of Zhencheng Building, and drink tea and chat in the teahouse on the first floor of his house. The boss is also good at flowers and plants, full of flowers, nine-tailed foxes, bougainvillea, and wolfberry leaves and other health grass plants. The overall feeling of leisure travel is very good. You need scenic spot tickets to enter the homestay. You can determine to visit several scenic spots in advance and buy suitable joint tickets.

This stay was really a surprise! From the beginning of the get off the bus, I felt full of intimate, the front desk check-in was fast, the room type was very good, highly recommended. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft like a cloud, and I slept super heavy at night. The breakfast shop at the entrance of the hotel has many types to choose from, and the boiling water is really delicious! It is only three minutes away from the ancient city of Changting. It is convenient to go to attractions and business districts. Next time you come to live here, you must have five stars!

Staying in a modern room within a centuries-old Tulou was an incredible experience! They even installed an elevator in the Tulou, which was a thoughtful touch. The location is right next to the Tulou Prince scenic area, and there's parking available for those driving. What made it even better was the fantastic evening show; we specifically came for it and felt it was totally worth the trip! My only minor complaint is that the mattress was a bit too soft, and after a day of driving, it wasn't great for my back. Luckily, there was a firm daybed I could sleep on. I'd recommend visiting during the off-season; it's quieter at night, and you'll feel like you have the whole Tulou to yourself for photos. However, it's still a good idea to bring noise-canceling headphones, otherwise, you might get woken up early by tour groups checking in.

This time I stayed at the Tujiawan Hotel. The room was clean and tidy. The quilt cover and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was large and the hot bath was bigger than mine. I expected and the Hakka dishes in the restaurant next door were also delicious. The front desk sister Jiang is also very hospitable and talkative. In fact, this time from Malaysia to Yongding is to find roots. After talking to her, she was very happy to introduce me to the tour guide. After the tour guide took me to a lot of earth buildings, I found the ancestors by the way. In the evening, I returned to the hotel and met my sister at the front desk. We talked again before getting off work. She knew my hometown and was very happy to help me. I said that there were relatives who could help me find my hometown relatives. After about an hour, I received her good news, saying that there are relatives there. I will have people from my hometown to meet later. I am so excited and excited to receive her news. The inn is located on the main road 30 meters away from the entrance of the scenic area and is easy to find. It is a small inn with spacious and bright rooms, clean and tidy beds, and complete bathroom facilities. There is a large earth building opposite the entrance of the inn. It is very beautiful, especially at night. When the lights are turned on, it is very beautiful. There are performances in the earth building at night. I was lucky enough to see the fireworks. I was very happy. The boss is very enthusiastic and warm. They also have catering services in their store. I stayed at his house for a day and had three meals there. The food was delicious and it felt like home. This inn has convenient transportation, is economical, and has thoughtful service. It is trustworthy and deserves a five-star rating!

A strategically located hotel which is within walking distance of distance to many interesting places. Food is easily accessible and yummy. Night scenery is great with multi coloured lighting. Nice to walk around and enjoyed watching people dancing in the open spaces. Local herbs are also available if u are interested in local Chinese herbs for brewing tea and herbal soups. During the day it is nice to walk around early in the nearby walking streets where u can find interesting architecture of the olden days. Well kept but can do with more explanation about the history and info about the local culture and customs. Great place for taking instagram photos.

To visit Yongding Tulou, you must choose Baifu Leisure Villa. It's really a treasure homestay. More than ten meters away from Zhencheng Building. The key is that there is no need to walk 2 kilometers from the entrance of the scenic spot to have attractions. Too tired. This time I brought my grandson, my first choice is his home. As soon as I enter the house, I feel at home. The proprietress drove to the back door to pick up. The boss greeted tea warmly. The parking lot is large and can park more than 20 cars, and the rooms are fully equipped. Hygiene and clean. The bedding is comfortable, the proprietress burns a hand, and the price is high.
