"Go Hotel — Disappointing Stay, Unfinished Renovation ⭐⭐ (2/5) I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and won’t be returning. On arrival, the room hadn’t been properly cleaned — a shampoo sachet left by a previous guest was still in the shower, which is a basic hygiene fail. The key card stopped working repeatedly throughout the stay, which becomes frustrating quickly. The rooms are very small, and the shower situation is a problem. The shower door appears to have been removed or dismantled — apparently a known issue across multiple rooms — leaving an awkward, unfinished setup. When exiting the shower I hit my head on the door frame. I’m not a tall person, so this raises a real accessibility concern that should have been flagged and fixed. The reception staff did little to improve the experience. There was no warmth or welcome — interactions felt transactional at best, and the overall atmosphere on arrival was underwhelming. The hotel markets itself as recently renovated. Based on my experience, that renovation seems to have stopped at the reception area — and even there, the service doesn’t match the setting. The guest rooms tell a different story: cramped, poorly maintained, and full of unresolved issues. It’s basic accommodation at best, and not good value when weighed against the number of things that simply weren’t right."

"Very nice old hotel. I last stayed here 10+years ago. At that time the restaurant was fantastic. This time I was really disappointment. Free breakfast does not include reservations made on line! How else do you book? Regarding the restaurant, the chef or whoever is garnishing the dishes is sauce crazy! So much sauce I couldn’t eat the food. Including onion rings with ketchup flooded over all of the rings. This really ruined the stay as I’m handicapped and my meals were limited to the hotel restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend eating here. I stayed in a residence suite which was great. But I didn’t have maid service during my entire stay 4 days. I wouldn’t recommend this place for more than a one day stay with other dining options."

"This hotel was ok. No real problems other than the location was not so good in my opinion. 10 to 5 walk to Jolliebee and McDonalds. Close enough to La Salle University. There is a laundry downstairs that seemed to me a bit pricey."

"I booked a room with a balcony, but when we arrived, the room had none. I called the reception, and they informed me that the room type I booked didn’t include a balcony, even though the option I selected clearly showed one. The hotel didn’t offer any upgrade or solution, so we just had to accept it. The room itself was okay, but the toilet was small, and there was water dripping from the pipe near the toilet bowl. On a positive note, the breakfast at L’Fisher was great, and my family really enjoyed it. The pool at the chalet, however, had old, faded tiles, which discouraged us from swimming. Overall, it was still a good experience because the location is close to many restaurants—especially Calea."
