"The room was on the smaller side, but clean and comfortable. The heater helped to take away the chilliness in the room. Small individually wrapped toiletries. We heard our neighbours talking but luckily everyone went to bed early. The Riad was almost empty, impacting on the atmosphere despite nice photographs and beautiful Moroccan handiwork decorating the shared areas. The lack of guests had to do with Covid and the closure of the most popular attractions in Meknes (for revitalization of almost every important structure). Usual Moroccan breakfast without any fruits or vegetables, and not even an olive or a date."

"This establishment practices overbooking, and the owner lies to his customers. We had to cancel our rooms. It seems, from reading the reviews, that we're not the only ones who've been scammed. The very friendly receptionist asked us to leave upon arrival and put us in a riad next door with no pool and nothing to do with it. We had to call the manager to cancel our reservation because it was non-refundable. We had half a day in Meknes; you can imagine the hassle and the wasted time. Two of us with reservations on the same day had this experience (also French). We've been visiting Morocco for 30 years, and the reception we received was our worst experience—it has to be one! 😂"
