Hostal Dona Juana
4.5/515 Reviews
I had a great one night stay at Hostal Dona Juana which is located in the centre of Avila by the Plaza de Santa Teresa and the Puerta del Alcazar. The staff in the Hostal were very friendly and helpful and also looked after my bag on the last day as I walked around the town. The room was comfortable and clean and included a bottle of water and a few sweets too. The room was of a high, clean standard, there was a new, modern bathroom and the Hostal made for a very pleasant stay. The room was also at an extremely reasonable price. I had the breakfast option too and although breakfast is not served in the Hostal itself you take a ticket to the café just a few doors down and order one of the selections available. A very nice stay and I would definitely stay there again if travelling in the area.
Hostal Restaurante Puerta del Alcazar

The hotel is very well located, opposite the wall. The only disadvantage was that we were given the rooms behind the reception (I understand it is for disabled) and the bathroom had a window that gave the restaurant room, Although the glass was smeriled when lighting was all seen inside, it would be good that you could fix it. But, for the rest, and I repeat, being a 2 star has largely fulfilled the expectations.

The water in the faucet was too small and it was too uncomfortable to take a bath. Breakfast was good.
Hostal la Estacion

The hotel was closed at 19.00 p.m., and the hotel was closed at 20.15. I booked on Hopper and as a limit time for check in were indicated at 22, I checked on booking and said the same thing. The first number on the card does not answer anyone, the second one answers a lady who tells me that on Sunday they close at seven, that there is no one and cannot make me open by anyone. I try to tell you several times that this was not marked anywhere when I booked and no one sent me any notices about it (the booking had it, the money had it taken and kept it, Of course, while knowing that at least one person missed booked, they were disturbed and left without even worth sending a whatsapp or email). I would like to reiterate that I need someone to come to open me or I will have to sleep on the street, she answers that she can't do anything to me and she closes my phone in my face. I tried to write the next day to make me at least make money, but they never answered me; fortunately, at last I found another accommodation in a hurry and angry. I don't imagine what would happen if there were perhaps an old person in my place, with little children or who did not know the language.
Palacio de Los Velada

The location of the hotel is good, and the rooms with balcony have excellent views. You can get a parking ticket when you check in and go to a large parking lot. However, the road at the entrance of the hotel is relatively narrow, and parking may be difficult during peak hours.
Hotel II Castillas Avila

We looked for a hotel in the last moment for a mistake from another hotel that was wrong with our reservation. We called in the afternoon asking for 2 simple rooms and told us they had. We are super happy to have found this hotel! The hotel was very clean and the rooms were very clean and the reception and breakfast room were very friendly. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable, and it is very good to stay in the hotel.
