I arrived early and parked in the garage below the hotel. The room was already available so they let me check in. I think the Leonardo Hotel is fairly new. Everything was quite clean and fresh. You need your room key to activate the elevator to go to your floor. I thought this was very clear but so many of my fellow guests were confused and I had to explain. Perhaps this would be better clarified during check in. Through helping other people, I also found out that the key only works for your floor and you can't access other floors. During my three night stay, I rode the elevator with quite a few confused people. There is bottled water in the room when you check in and it's complimentary. In the bathroom, the soap, shampoo and body wash are all one bottle/formulation. There is no conditioner. I didn't have the breakfast at the hotel but I did have dinner at the restaurant one night. It was good but I thought it was funny that I tried to order beer and they were out of a lot of it, as well as some of the menu items. The kimchi and hummus were delicious, and the signature drink was very interesting. My colleague and I needed a place to work on our computers one day and this hotel doesn't really have common/lobby space in which to do that because the restaurant area is closed outside of mealtimes. We sat in one of the conference rooms but a staff member chased us out. That's one improvement that I think this hotel could make (a place to sit and work and plug in a laptop), especially because it seemed like we were not the only business trip people there.

The hotel staff has wrongly booked us 4 times extra breakfast at the check-out, although this was already included in our price. When I explained the situation the next day, I was assured that this was a mistake and that the money was returned. I should like to write a mail, because the colleague who is here today cannot care about it. A very unsatisfactory way of solving the problem and extra work for me. I received the answer to my email that I should send my account data, and I sent them back immediately. 10 days later we could not find any payment incoming so I asked by email after the return was requested. No answer. One week later I called at the hotel. I wanted to talk to the hotel manager because I received neither the money nor a reply from the staff. I was consoled, you know what it is about and the transfer would be already in the accounting. I told the staff that I would like to receive a written reply by email about the information from the telephone conversation. It was assured, but again, no feedback! It's now over 4 weeks. The money was not transferred back and my efforts remained unreply. I would advise every person to book another room in Augsburg. Communication with staff is catastrophic and problems are not resolved on own initiative. I have invested a lot of my time in an hotel error and I am very disappointed. Errors may happen, but this long Odyssey I don't wish anyone!

This hotel is comfortable and relaxed from the usual (sometimes rather inpersonal and boring) 4-Sterne-Hotels. I was here at the beginning of September as a trainer and as a result, I was also firstly assessed from this point of view, so first in terms of the area of the event. From outside you can't see immediately what charming hotel it is here (I've been so...) When you enter, you will quickly know with which heart blood and creativity this hotel is designed and managed. The reception was very friendly. The many, different, well equipped meeting rooms cover the need for different rights, purposes and numbers. We were, for example, in the “atelier”, which is located inside a whole apartment including a private kitchen, gallery and a large balcony (not only in corona times!). A additional room was still in the apartment, which was genial for my purposes. Also the service during our event was super: friendly, attentive and flexible. The outdoor area offers a large, extensive beer garden with barbecue and possibility to cool. The surroundings of the hotel are not so attractive. But the design of the outer area has been so successful that you feel like being in another sphere once you enter the hotel area. Great! So for all who can also perform events in Corona times: -), is a very suitable hotel where the usual Corona rules can and will be well observed. I can't say anything about the price/performance ratio, since the customer was the “noble donor” of the stay.

We chose to return our rental car here in Augsburg and catch a train to Salzburg here to avoid the crowds in Munich for Oktoberfest. This was a much bigger city than I expected. It is also a college town. While traveling in the USA, Holiday Inn Express are usually a safe bet for a one night stay. We were not disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable as was the bed. This is only one of 2 hotels that had AC out of the 10 we stayed in. Breakfast was the usual Holiday Inn buffet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Made sure out taxi arrived on time. There is a great burger place across the street that you should try. All and all, we were glad we chose this hotel and would recommend it if you are traveling thru Augsburg.

The hotel is very perfectly located in front of the main station, but still quiet. The rooms are spacious and equipped with a mini bar (Fl water). The beds are super convenient, TV is a flat screen and everything is clean. The bathroom is also spacious and conveniently equipped. Washing bath, WC, shower and dish. Epic towels can be obtained daily or only after 2 days - as you want and environmentally friendly! The breakfast buffet is well presented and decorated and rich. Salmon, fresh cheese, fresh cut cheese and sauce, musli, juices, water, vegan lifts and a good bread and bread selection as well as marmelade etc round the offer. For everyone there is something. Coffee from the SB machine is also recommended - also the tea selection ! Outdoor terrace is also available as well as separate room for reading, playing for children and breakfast for families or groups as the tables in 1. Room good for 2 people are. The team is friendly, premature and attentive. Thank you for the nice stay and tomorrow.

We are on day 9 of being in Bavaria and I think our 5th or 6th hotel. This is by far the best and most comfortable. The bed is so awesome. The staff are welcoming. Two big drawbacks; no air conditioning and finding the actual hotel location. We arrived late at night, I had made a reservation and paid ahead of time. We were so frustrated at not being able to find the hotel we drove about 10 minutes away and were going to check into a Holiday Inn Express. The guy at the front desk there was sooooo sweet, when I told him we were unable to find the NinetyNine Hotel, he did everything but drive us to the front door. He printed off directions and told us exactly what to look for! It's located next to the Universitat Augsburg a sort of industrial area on the outskirts of town. When we woke up in the day time we realized the GPS had taken us right next to the hotel but there are no visible neon signs at night. I am really glad we wound up finding it. They hotel is big on sustainability and animal conservation and awareness. The decor is wonderfully strange yet welcoming with butterflies 🦋, monkeys, fish 🐟 and other animals all around. There is a full bar in the lobby, breakfast is available and a small refrigerator in the lobby with drinks for sale. Oh and it is located above the Rewe grocery store and you get access to the fitness center right next door. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

Hotel located about 4km from Augsburg City centre. The hotel rent free bikes, which we made the most of during our stay, as there is a beautiful river and miles of forest covered park to cycle around. We also used the bikes to go to the city centre as the tram wasn't operating. Free ample parking. Fantastic breakfast. Free ice cream. Room was large and had a fridge and kettle. Slightly older decor, but nice bathroom. My only criticism is, there is a musty smell, but no idea where this is coming from as everywhere is spotlessly clean. The reception staff spoke English and were helpful and friendly. And the restaurant staff were excellent too. Thanks for a lovely weekend. Would recommend.

From booking to arrival to departure, City Hotel Ost am Kö exceeded expectations. Excellent, superbly-connected location and well-appointed room. Bathroom tight (single room) but clean, well maintained and with thoughtful extras such as wall hooks and good mirrors that other places seem to forget. Wi-fi was free and one of the easiest I've ever connected with in a hotel. Mini bar (not used) and good unpacking space. Slept well but the pillow could have been better. Hotels don't have to be fancy to be rated 5-stars. The staff here could show up those at some fancier places. Surprisingly good breakfast offer - included and available till midday. Small sauna needs booking. Didn't have an opportunity to use but saw that it looked fine, with a good relaxing area. If in the centre of Augsburg again, I'd head straight for City Hotel am Kö - also if staying with someone.

Built in 1966, this place definitely had vintage vibe to it and not in a run-down, tired way, far from it. You could tell from the little things like doors, windows, decor, but everything had been well taken care of and preserved. The place was immaculate! The staff were very helpful and friendly!! We loved this place. It has definite charm. the rooms are decorated really nicely. Very Bavarian. It doesn't feel like your average hotel. It feels special and that's what you want for a holiday. Comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom -- solid shower. I love a hot, powerful shower in the morning. This delivered. You should know -- if you stay in the front -- the light rail train runs through the night. In September, our windows were open. We didn't mind it.. Liked it, in fact. But just keep it in mind. Das Hotel in der Nähe der Messe macht einen guten Eindruck. Wenn man nur übernachten will und keinen Komfort erwartet ist man hier richtig. Die Zimmer verfügen über Betten und Bad mit Dusche. Frühstück kann zugebucht werden. Allerdings steht der Preis nicht im Verhältnis zum Angebot. Jedoch haben wir kein Café in der Nähe entdeckt, so dass wir das Frühstücksangebot nutzen mussten. Beim Personal schaut es etwas anders aus. Als wir angekommen sind, wurden wir freundlich empfangen und bedient. Am Tag danach, war anderes Personal da, welches nicht mal guten Morgen sagen konnte und ziemlich überfordert wirkte, den kleinen Frühstücksbereich in Schuss zu halten. Was angenehm war, ist der kostenlose Hotelparkplatz. Alles in allem, zum übernachten in Ordnung, wenn man keine Erwartungen hat.

Friendly, uncomplicated reception! There are already many of the high-price hotels and hotel chains that can cut a ticket.. We have searched for and found a cheap accommodation on the journey to the holidays. Therefore we were ready to take off, which we had not to do here. nice, helpful, young crew at the reception. Clean, attractive room, facilities functional, fresh. Flattery air conditioning, which we have enjoyed in “monkey heat”. Breakfast ok, for the price called super( adults 10€/ children4€) All in all a fantastic price performance ratio!

The Dom Hotel is exceptional, everything we could have hoped for. Just two minutes from the Cathedral and on the site of what was the Propstei, where Emperor Maximilian stayed when here on imperial business. Archaeological treasures are displayed in the tranquil sitting area, where a generous bowl of fruit and nuts is offered for guests to help themselves. Our room was elegant, simply done, but all materials were of top quality - perfect. If you want utensils for the neat little kitchen-in-a-cupboard, you just have to ask. As the immediate - and very beautiful - buildings surrounding the Cathedral are administrative and away from the commercial centre, no one is there after office hours, and all is quiet in the evening. Five minutes' walking takes you into the city centre with all its historical interest, attractions and bright lights. The breakfast buffet could not be bettered: everything we could have wanted was beautifully presented, bowls and plates refilled in a trice as guests tucked in. A choice of LEAF TEA to put in a filter was the 'ne plus ultra' for us. The staff were discreet, unfailingly helpful and observant, the whole place is immaculately clean and well presented. A porter is on hand to help guests up- or downstairs with luggage if help is needed. This really is the best of Germany, and we shall be back.

The hotel is well located, the staff very friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the beds are comfortable and even a minibar is available in the room. Unfortunately, I had to find a very eagle, gray and unhygienic, broad calc trace in the toilet. This kind of thing only happens if it hasn't been cleaned accordingly over months. To do that the bath was very small. A real shower is not available, only a screen on the ground and a shower hang to protect a certain area when using the shower tube. That's what I found in Scandinavia, perhaps 30 years ago, the last time I came to breakfast at 9 a.m. and I just found 3 other same grain breads. No white bread, no croissant, even no glass toast. Well and the eggs ..... all cooked hard stone. All in all, I would classify this hotel in the category of two stars accommodation, though with really friendly staff. The accommodation, the equipment and breakfast is only very modest.

Unfortunately, I had to find a very eagle, gray and unhygienic, broad calc trace in the toilet. This kind of thing only happens if it hasn't been cleaned accordingly over months. To do that the bath was very small. A real shower is not available, only a screen on the ground and a shower hang to protect a certain area when using the shower tube. That's what I found in Scandinavia, perhaps 30 years ago, the last time I came to breakfast at 9 a.m. and I just found 3 other same grain breads. No white bread, no croissant, even no glass toast. Well and the eggs ..... all cooked hard stone. All in all, I would classify this hotel in the category of two stars accommodation, though with really friendly staff. The accommodation, the equipment and breakfast is only very modest.

We chose to return our rental car here in Augsburg and catch a train to Salzburg here to avoid the crowds in Munich for Oktoberfest. This was a much bigger city than I expected. It is also a college town. While traveling in the USA, Holiday Inn Express are usually a safe bet for a one night stay. We were not disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable as was the bed. This is only one of 2 hotels that had AC out of the 10 we stayed in. Breakfast was the usual Holiday Inn buffet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Made sure out taxi arrived on time. There is a great burger place across the street that you should try. All and all, we were glad we chose this hotel and would recommend it if you are traveling thru Augsburg.

I arrived early and parked in the garage below the hotel. The room was already available so they let me check in. I think the Leonardo Hotel is fairly new. Everything was quite clean and fresh. You need your room key to activate the elevator to go to your floor. I thought this was very clear but so many of my fellow guests were confused and I had to explain. Perhaps this would be better clarified during check in. Through helping other people, I also found out that the key only works for your floor and you can't access other floors. During my three night stay, I rode the elevator with quite a few confused people. There is bottled water in the room when you check in and it's complimentary. In the bathroom, the soap, shampoo and body wash are all one bottle/formulation. There is no conditioner. I didn't have the breakfast at the hotel but I did have dinner at the restaurant one night. It was good but I thought it was funny that I tried to order beer and they were out of a lot of it, as well as some of the menu items. The kimchi and hummus were delicious, and the signature drink was very interesting. My colleague and I needed a place to work on our computers one day and this hotel doesn't really have common/lobby space in which to do that because the restaurant area is closed outside of mealtimes. We sat in one of the conference rooms but a staff member chased us out. That's one improvement that I think this hotel could make (a place to sit and work and plug in a laptop), especially because it seemed like we were not the only business trip people there.

We have searched for and found a cheap accommodation on the journey to the holidays. Therefore we were ready to take off, which we had not to do here. nice, helpful, young crew at the reception. Clean, attractive room, facilities functional, fresh. Flattery air conditioning, which we have enjoyed in “monkey heat”. Breakfast ok, for the price called super( adults 10€/ children4€) All in all a fantastic price performance ratio!

Hotel located about 4km from Augsburg City centre. The hotel rent free bikes, which we made the most of during our stay, as there is a beautiful river and miles of forest covered park to cycle around. We also used the bikes to go to the city centre as the tram wasn't operating. Free ample parking. Fantastic breakfast. Free ice cream. Room was large and had a fridge and kettle. Slightly older decor, but nice bathroom. My only criticism is, there is a musty smell, but no idea where this is coming from as everywhere is spotlessly clean. The reception staff spoke English and were helpful and friendly. And the restaurant staff were excellent too. Thanks for a lovely weekend. Would recommend.

Beim Personal schaut es etwas anders aus. Als wir angekommen sind, wurden wir freundlich empfangen und bedient. Am Tag danach, war anderes Personal da, welches nicht mal guten Morgen sagen konnte und ziemlich überfordert wirkte, den kleinen Frühstücksbereich in Schuss zu halten. Was angenehm war, ist der kostenlose Hotelparkplatz. Alles in allem, zum übernachten in Ordnung, wenn man keine Erwartungen hat.
