"This is a family-run hotel. Looking at the map, I thought it wasn't far from the Old Cataract Hotel, but it's actually located on a hillside. There were many stray dogs in packs on the way, so we had to take a taxi every time we went in or out. Every room has a beautiful Nile view, and the view from the breakfast terrace is especially lovely. The scrambled eggs were delicious. However, the hotel has poor soundproofing; you can hear people coming and going. Also, after taking a shower, there was a sewage smell from the bathroom. I recommend bringing your own disposable bedding."

"An absolutely wonderful stay! We stayed at this hotel throughout our time in Aswan. It's perfectly situated on a small island in the Nile, with a ferry running between the island and the mainland every half hour, making transport very convenient. The hotel's service and facilities were excellent, especially Martha at the front desk. Her English was superb, and she helped us solve many issues! On our second day, which happened to be my birthday, Martha and the hotel thoughtfully surprised us with a huge cake – it was so big we couldn't even finish it! Overall, a very pleasant stay!!"

I highly recommend contacting the owner via WhatsApp before you arrive. He'll give you clear instructions on how to get there and how to take the ferry, which will help you avoid being overcharged and make your entire stay much smoother."
