"I am reviewing only the restaurant, where I had lunch on the occasion of seeing an old friend. The restaurant is integrated into the hotel and is structured in several rooms; it is accessed from the main entrance and appears with a large room. It offers lunch and dinner service; the latter with pizza service. We arrive at 12.30 and we are asked to wait as it is still closed! Shortly after, we sit down. Basic menu based on Umbrian specialties presented on a printed sheet .... the waiting times are very long, as they preferred to serve the tourists who arrived after we had sent the order. The courses are good, abundant and with top quality materials, compliments to the chef. It is a shame to present a bottle of EU origin oil in the oil region!!! Honest prices to improve the service in the course times as we were the first to leave last ....."

"This is a charming old fashioned hotel founded in 1907, right at the bottom of the hill into town. Lovely continental breakfast, comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the basilica. Be warned the restaurant only opens if there are lots of people staying. Assisi is magical"

"Overall good. The hotel is upstairs in the restaurant. Unfortunately, I have never eaten a restaurant's said good meal. Go to the restaurant to find someone to open the door. There is usually no service. Breakfast is good, simple but tastes OK. Very close to the station. Arrived at night, fortunately living nearby. Otherwise, there will be no one on the road, and you will be scared to death if you go far."
