"The room was big, very clean and very comfortable. The location is great if you are with a car. The old city parking is just 5 minutes. The breakfas selection is really great. And finally we could have cafe latte (even with lactose free milk) and it was delicious. Next time I will stay in this hotel again."

"WE STAYED IN THIS HOTEL AT THE BEGINNING OF THE CENTER OF ASSISI, IN A STRATEGIC POSITION TO VISIT THE VARIOUS CHURCHES AND TO REACH ONE OF THE NEARBY CAR PARKS WITH WHICH THE STRUCTURE HAS A DISCOUNT. THE HOTEL IS CLEAN, HAS A FAMILY ATMOSPHERE, THERE WERE ALL THE SERVICES WE NEEDED, INCLUDING AIR CONDITIONING, WHICH WAS VERY CONVENIENT IN THE SUMMER SEASON. THE STAFF, INCLUDING THE GIRL WHO PREPARES BREAKFAST, ARE VERY KIND AND AVAILABLE IN PROVIDING TOURIST INFORMATION AND IN MAKING THE GUESTS' STAY AS PLEASANT AS POSSIBLE. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY"

Country House la Padronale Del Rivo Hotels in Assisi

Country House la Padronale Del Rivo

"La Padronale del Rivo was a pleasant surprise for my family and me during the weekend of October 13-14-15. This lovely Country House offered everything we were looking for for a relaxing weekend. The rustic-style rooms were cozy and clean, creating an authentic and warm atmosphere. The panoramic view of the surroundings added a special touch to our experience. The pool was the perfect place to cool off in the autumn sun, and the surrounding garden was an oasis of tranquility. The real star of this stay was the Umbrian cuisine. We were lucky enough to enjoy delicious dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients. The flavors were authentic and delicious, and the friendly staff made our meal even more special. Overall, La Padronale del Rivo is the perfect place for a family escape. The combination of comfort, exceptional food and surrounding natural beauty makes it an ideal retreat for those seeking relaxation and authenticity. We can't wait to return in the future. Advised"

Borgo Antichi Orti Assisi Hotels in Assisi

Borgo Antichi Orti Assisi

"We could not have been happier with Borgo Antichi Orti Assisi. We were there 2 nights (we drove from Rome with our pugs, so we also wanted to mention the pet friendly aspect). It's quiet and beautiful at the hotel, and the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi looms hugely and gorgeously above the hotel (just like the pictures). It's a short walk up the hill through olive trees to the basilica and town, as well. I asked some of the people working at the hotel about the owner (an ex-footballer in Italy, if I understood correctly) and recent changes, and it sounds like they're continuously making improvements. For instance, the restaurant there is now Re Tartu, and it seriously rocked (great food, gorgeous location, huge wine list, extremely nice people working there). Now by humorous coincidence, we were in Montefalco the previous day, and ate at the Re Tartu there, too, for lunch (this was run by the son of the man who runs the restaurant at Assisi). But the restaurant in Montefalco was also excellent. The cocktail bar at the hotel has now a separate menu and drink list from the restaurant (I was told that they didn't want to compete with the main restaurant), but they were also excellent (snacks fresh from their on-site garden, smaller dishes to share, and easily enough to make a real dinner). The cocktail menu was from my perspective brilliant (or, it just happened to have most of the things I like, from more common things, Old Fashioned, Martini, and so on, but also including Pisco Sour, Aviator, Boulevardier, Vieux Carre, and others), and the cocktails were excellent in taste. And, again, the people working at the cocktail bar were also very nice and professional. And so on, I could say more, but we really loved our short stay there. Nice rooms (cool and quaint), a big lawn where we you can sit and have beverages, a limited number of room so the place never feels overly busy, and a nice breakfast (menu, not buffet). We didn't try the spa, but there is one, and it looks nice. I wish we had had more time there. Next time we'll stay longer. Thanks a lot to Borgo Antichi Orti Assisi and Re Tartu."

Hotel Los Angeles Hotels in Assisi

Hotel Los Angeles

"Terrible hotel. I stayed here for three nights and it was a pitiful experience to say the least. Cleanliness was almost nonexistent, rooms weren't cleaned, and towels weren't changed, as the staff believed they weren't necessary every day. Huge chunks of dust were in the stairwells, the staff was rude and unwelcoming, and the hallways and bathrooms smelled incredibly foul. As for the rooms, we asked reception why they hadn't been cleaned, and they rudely replied that if we had left them in a "pitiful" state, they wouldn't have cleaned them. But I paid for all the amenities I need, so it seems like an excuse. It's also worth noting that it's their job and they should do it. The food is nothing special, not to mention awful. A bottle of sparkling water at the table costs €2. Are you kidding? It should be included, considering they pay quite a bit for it. The only positive note is that it's near the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli, but otherwise, that area is also awful. It doesn't seem normal to me to underestimate cleanliness and customer needs, I won't add anything else."

TH Assisi - Casa Leonori Hotels in Assisi

TH Assisi - Casa Leonori

"We have just returned from 5 nights at this hotel. It is clean, quiet & comfortable. The staff are efficient & friendly. Breakfast was good, but avoid peak times especially with the coach parties that often use this hotel. The bar area is small & could easily be improved, however there are some excellent restaurants & bars within walking distance. Great value for money."

Elide Design Hotel Hotels in Assisi

Elide Design Hotel

"Overall good. The hotel is upstairs in the restaurant. Unfortunately, I have never eaten a restaurant's said good meal. Go to the restaurant to find someone to open the door. There is usually no service. Breakfast is good, simple but tastes OK. Very close to the station. Arrived at night, fortunately living nearby. Otherwise, there will be no one on the road, and you will be scared to death if you go far."

TH Assisi - Hotel Cenacolo ★★★★
"The Wi-Fi speed wasn't very good. The roaming connection inside the hotel wasn't great either. You can get to Assisi directly by taking a 2-euro bus. All the staff were very friendly. They gave us a spacious room, which was comfortable. I liked the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside village. The breakfast was simple, but I appreciated that they made the scrambled eggs fresh for us. The cappuccino they made was the best!"

"The grounds are so large that it feels like a private resort. The view of Assisi from the garden is the highlight of this accommodation. The rooms are of a reasonable standard. The owner is kind and nice. I visited in the winter, but I would like to visit again in the summer to experience the pool and restaurant. It is located at the entrance of Assisi Village."

Valle di Assisi Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"English: Is it possible to create a four-star nursery? They succeeded in this place. For prices that are anything but modest, you can receive unnerving and anything but relaxing treatment. Sure, on August 15th, it's packed everywhere, but the organization, especially for a four-star, should make the difference. Instead, in the room we end up in, there is no trace of soundproofing. This means that you can be woken up/disturbed by anyone: by the crying child of the neighbors, by the door of the stairs that slams in the early morning located right in front of our room, or even by the toilet flushing in the next room. I emphasize the ultra-worn wooden furniture and the power sockets that instead of being next to the headboard of the bed, are hear hear... At the feet. It's brilliant!! It seemed like a room built in the early 2000s designed for guests of 1999. At all hours, nothing is missing... Even in the morning, the albeit rich breakfast becomes total chaos, without the slightest rule, not norm, rule! That goes for any guest, of any age. Children crying, screaming, running for anyone's table. adults, who yell, run and despair. Then there's the great idea: The bar coffee machine is hidden!! Only the automatic one is visible... So the most experienced can ask for the honor of a coffee, the others, poor fools, have to provide for themselves and make do... Meh!! In this general chaos there is also a head waiter, intent on increasing the noise by purposely playing classical music at full volume. At reception they work in 3/4 at a time... I wonder... But for what purpose? In the evening you come back and there in front you find general chaos with one evening, even, a father who was running around left and right with a luggage trolley with his son on it. The reception of a country fair seemed... I don't know! As soon as we arrived they gave us a demagnetized magnetic key... Meh. At check-out, we pay, not even asking "is everything okay, gentlemen?" no no, give me the money and goodbye... But goodbye really! So I can understand that the hotel wants to target families with children, but then it shouldn't accept couples or other types of guests, or if it accepts them in a four-star hotel, it should structure itself to do so. The room with cardboard walls then, is truly unacceptable and inconceivable, Also because the soundproofing is expressly indicated in the presentation. I say, if I had paid for a 3-star hotel, I could have even understood and let it go! I mean, you pay less, it's all there... But 141€ a night to have the whole floor in my room, honestly, no. The pool is nice and big anyway and also the park, as well as the strategic position to visit Assisi. For this I still give 2 stars."
