Later, when someone came and I tried to confirm, they were incredibly unfriendly. Be aware that there are many stairs here. Actually, these things wouldn't have affected my review. It was just that on a cold day, the heated mattress pad was misplaced. I had to redo the bed myself, and finally, it was warm again."

"A Very Good and clean motel that is an easy ten-minutes walk to Arrowtown. The room was clean and well presented with the heating on when I arrived. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall a quiet location in the middle of a residential area. My room had a small fridge and a kitchenette with a kettle, cook-top, toaster and microwave with sufficient items to cook and serve simple meals. They also provide a small bottle of milk everyday. The bed has an electric blanket that works well. There is also a good Airconditioning unit. Wifi works ok in the reception area and outside the room, but sometimes weak in the room. They also provide a guest laundry on a payment basis. I visited in the winter and it was a nice stay. Overall a somewhat above average experience with above average staff."

"We deliberately chose not to stay in busy Queenstown and we were so pleased with the Arrowfield apartments in Arrowtown. We had a very, very spacious 'house', with a carpeted double garage (bizarre!), excellent washing machine and dryer, enormous comfy bed, a selection of books and DVDs to use and a decently equipped kitchen. We stayed in number 12 and the sun was shining, so it was lovely to sit outside where you had a lawned area, plus tables, chairs, a parasol and a BBQ. Very good standard of accommodation and very clean. Oh, and there was a separate 2nd toilet which was useful."
