"Wonderful weekend at Hotel Vetter, Arosa We spent a weekend at Hotel Vetter and were excited around. Even when check-in we were warm and helpful – a really successful start in our stay. Our room was generously cut, bright, designed with a lot of wood and very comfortable. Specially we liked the modern, top-equipped bathroom – here you realize that much value is placed on quality. The location of the hotel is simply unslaughterable – central and still quiet, perfect for excursions to the nature or a walk through Arosa. Also culinary we were disgusted: The dinner was very delicious, with a beautiful selection à la carte. The breakfast did not leave any wishes open – fresh, diverse and with everything the heart wants. We felt well around and certainly come back. Thank you very much to the entire team of the Hotel Vetter!"

"This hotel should be closed down or the management fired. It's neglected and appears to have been affected by cost-cutting measures that are lowering the quality in every area. The rooms could use some modernization, the food is outrageously overpriced, the à la carte menu is a joke (mainly soup, steak tartare, or three hamburgers), and the set menu consists of a salad bar (10 CHF), a soup (12 CHF), and a choice of two main courses (35 CHF) – either meat or vegetarian – plus dessert or cheese. Even the children's menu is more extensive. Waiting times are extremely long, depending on occupancy. Breakfast itself is acceptable to good, but it's not replenished regularly or promptly. You might have to wait 10 minutes for fresh bacon because it's only refilled when it's empty. Due to staff shortages, dishes are left unused or there aren't enough clean ones. The room doors let in every sound, and the curtains and carpets are old. Even the Wi-Fi is terrible and cumbersome. The cleaning team is also understaffed: sometimes a room is forgotten, the trash isn't emptied, and toilet paper isn't replenished. The billiard room is dusty, and some of the cues are broken. The staff tries their best, but they're powerless, especially when the hotel is surprisingly fully booked. If you're not tied to the hotel's amusement park, which isn't really great anyway, then any other hotel in Arosa offers better alternatives."

"The Hotel Astoria is a small authentic Swiss hotel owned and operated by Oliver and Edith. They are lovely welcoming people whose care and warmth shine through all aspects of the hotel and restaurant. My wife and I have stayed two different times separated by several years and both times we were impressed by the comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality we experienced. The restaurant food and service are excellent and the spa and pool are clean and never crowded. The Astoria is very well-located, an easy walk to ski rentals and ski lifts as well as the Arosa train station. We found it to be a perfect location for a Winter ski vacation - at a very reasonable room rate. We look forward to returning again soon!"

"This is our third visit to the lovely Tschuggen hotel, it really is an incredible place. It’s cosy, has an amazing calm and family feel about it, the staff are amazing, it’s just quality. The spa is truly amazing, the two Saunas and Steam are fantastic. Breakfast is equally a delight, so much on offer at the buffet. Plus even more such as french toast, pancakes, crepes etc on the main menu. Yes it’s expensive but it’s worth it and we will definitely be back again. Don’t change a thing and keep up the great work. Thanks for everything."

"Valsana Hotel in Arosa was a fantastic experience. The setting is beautiful — surrounded by stunning alpine scenery that makes it easy to unwind. The hotel itself is modern yet warm, with spacious, well-designed rooms that feel comfortable and thoughtfully put together. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and high-quality ingredients. It felt generous without being overwhelming. The spa facilities were a real highlight. The hot and cold plunge pools and sauna were especially enjoyable after a day out. The gym is well equipped — far better than the typical hotel setup — and the complimentary yoga session for guests was a great touch. "I had a great stay at the Hotel Sourcehof in Arosa! The price-performance ratio is simply unprecedented. The view of the surrounding mountains is breathtaking and invites to stay. Breakfast was excellent – a large selection, fresh products and everything you need to make a perfect start in the day. I would like to emphasise especially the uncomplicated self-in and check-out, both which have worked quickly and smoothly – ideal for stress-free arrival and exit. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was unsmooth, making the stay even more pleasant. In total, a wonderful hotel that I will definitely recommend. I'll be happy to come back!"

"We stayed at the Sunstar Arosa for two nights with our company. The room was clean and tidy. The wellness area was beautiful, spacious, and diverse, as was the indoor pool. The service, both at reception and in the restaurant, was completely out of step with the price range the hotel claims to be. The staff is untrained and doesn't know how to serve guests properly. Unfortunately, there was no trace of professionalism; everything was just done randomly. Serious errors occurred that shouldn't happen in a 4-star hotel. The 80-franc red wine was poured into a white wine glass, the plates were somehow placed in front of the guests, and orders were taken incorrectly. The food was mediocre at best; no course was special or top-notch. Everything tasted average, sometimes bland, and was out of season. We were also surprised when we, as 55-year-olds, were addressed with "Du" (formal). This is appropriate in a youth hostel, but in a hotel in this price range, we found it disturbing and completely inappropriate. We don't believe this concept will be successful in the long term. In short, the food and staff don't match the price level of a 4-star hotel. Therefore, we wouldn't return to this hotel personally."
