"This lodging is located quite far from the center of Arnhem. However, there are four shops nearby that are essential for accomplishing your trip to the Netherlands, two of which are foreigner-friendly and well-reviewed, so it's quite accessible. I stayed in a room with a large bathroom and separate shower and bath, but the room was quite small, so it felt a bit unbalanced. The parking lot is outside, so you have to hope for a spot."

"Spectacular hotel that used to be a church as the name indicates. Really worth seeing and experiencing. The staff is very nice and helpful. However they are not there during the night. The room overlooking the church and restaurant is very stylish. However, it is very small and has very little place to put one's clothes. The shower and toilet is open to the room. Hence fits better solo traveller than a couple. There is a nice coffee corner outside the room. Breakfast is served at the table, rather ok."

"We came here for an offsite event but this is a location I’d happily bring my family. Beautifully appointed and maintained. We had dinner and paired wines - also really nice. Breakfast had options at the level of an average European 5 star hotel incl. champagne (or some other sparkling wine - I didn’t manage to check unfortunately as it was a full working day ahead). Business Lunch was a lot of food but really well prepared. Bedrooms had drinks, snacks and the bathroom was really nicely done. I stayed in the annexe building but did not have the complaints some of the others had …quite the contrary! My only complaint was that the air conditioner stopped working middle of the night - still don’t know if it was a setting or just a machine that needs repair! All in all, a great experience and a much better bet than staying in Arnhem city."

"We stayed here for a concert in the Gelredome. We found the location great for our purposes - only 20 mins walk from the station and under 40 mins walk from the stadium (although we are admittedly fast walkers!). The room was a really good size, comfortable beds and very clean. The staff were wonderful, some of the most cheerful and friendly we've met, and spoke very fluent English. We would definitely stay here if we came to Arnhem again :)"

"The approach to this hotel is genuinely alarming. The road leading to the property feels unsafe and extremely dodgy, especially if you are travelling alone. Groups of people loiter on the street smoking, creating an intimidating and uncomfortable atmosphere that made me feel uneasy even before reaching the hotel. The room itself is shockingly inadequate and feels decades behind basic hospitality standards. There is no desk, no kettle, and no in-room phone, which makes even a short stay impractical. The overall setup is primitive and poorly thought out. To make matters worse, the room offers no privacy. The curtains cannot be left open at night because the room is directly visible from the restaurant area. This is completely unacceptable and further adds to the feeling of discomfort. Overall, this hotel fails on safety, comfort, and basic amenities. I would strongly advise avoiding this place"

"We stayed here for four nights combining bicycle touring and seeing friends. The hotel has a secure place to leave bicycles and plenty to borrow too. It's a short cycle from Arnhem (hilly for the Netherlands and a short section is in the dark forest with no street lighting). It's a short cycle to Hoge Veluwe and Veluwezoom national parks which are excellent for cycling and hiking. There are hikes in the forest the hotel lies in, and it is a beautiful setting. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and really helpful with practical arrangements. Our room (8) was clean and comfortable and very spacious with a lovely view of the garden. The bathroom was in the room (toilet separate). Dinner is amazing here - we had the La Belle Source menu twice and the brassiere once. They catered well for vegetarians and the matching wines were well chosen by a friendly and experienced sommelier. The bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. Breakfast was ok - it's all buffet and it huge choice is a little underwhelming after such good dinners and got very busy at times. This was the only disappointment we had with this lovely hotel. Overall a great stay, good value for money and we would highly recommend it to others."
