"Nice view from the hotel - there is a pool with sea view. However, very far away from everything. If you want to go eat in town, can only call taxi (15 euro for 3-4km drive). Pick up service usually don’t come up to the hill and asked us to walk down the hill all the time. The road downhill is very slippery, my friend fell on the road!! Better to stay closer to town at a more convenient location. Staff at hotel are very friendly and breakfast was nice."

"We had a lovely stay at the Sunset Villa. The villa was beautiful and just like the photos and has an amazing view of the sea. It is a short taxi ride to Argassi where all the restaurants and bars are, unlike some other villas which are in the middle of nowhere. But you can hire a car if you want to explore further. Harry was a brilliant host and gave us recommendations for restaurants etc… I would definitely recommend!! "

"We would like to share our experience after spending one wonderful week at Windmill Hotel in Zakynthos. First of all, we would like to thank the hotel manager, who is also the owner. She is a very kind, polite, and welcoming lady. She genuinely cares about her guests and pays close attention to their comfort. Everything was excellent, especially the dinners by the sea, which were truly memorable. We would also like to offer two suggestions based on our personal experience, which we hope may be helpful. The first suggestion concerns the guest room doors. Since guests come from many different countries and cultures, people naturally have different habits. During our stay, some guests occasionally closed their room doors very loudly, especially early in the morning or late at night, which created a lot of noise. This could easily be solved by installing door closers on the room doors. Door closers prevent doors from being slammed, allow them to close gently and automatically, increase the lifespan of the doors, and also ensure that doors are never accidentally left open. Our second suggestion is about the airport drop-off and pick-up point. Because the entrance to the hotel is quite narrow, the transfer buses cannot enter the hotel grounds and have to pick up and drop off guests on the main road. The problem is that the main road is also quite narrow, and there is no comfortable or safe place for guests to wait. Sometimes the wait can be as long as 20 minutes, and standing in the hot sun can be very uncomfortable. Perhaps the hotel could set aside a small area of its land as an official Windmill Hotel Drop-off and Pick-up Point, with a simple shelter to provide shade. A sign saying "Windmill Hotel Drop-off & Pick-up Point" would also be a great form of advertising for the hotel. As far as we noticed, none of the nearby hotels have done this, so it would be an innovative and thoughtful improvement. Finally, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the hotel manager and to every member of the staff. Thank you all for your kindness, hard work, and excellent hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and wish you continued success."

Combined with restaurants and shops down the road it is perfect combination of beach and town.The staff are so friendly and helpful and this place is very clean.The atmosphere is relaxing and feels very private and quiet.The sea is perfect for swimming.Best holiday we have had and highly recommend."

"Our last day today. We stayed as a family of four and upgraded to the separate bedroom for our 7-night stay during the school holidays. We hired a car great location to get around. The rooms were spotless and the staff were fantastic throughout our stay. Breakfast was really nice, the pool was always clean, and the bar staff were brilliant. This hotel is exceptional for a 3-star hotel and could easily become a 4-star with just a few extra touches. We were really impressed and will definitely return."

"Wow wow wow! First time going to Greece and couldn’t have asked for a better resort or hotel. From start to finish the hotel staff were accommodating. The pool area and sun loungers have been upgraded and are very luxury. The hotel was very close to shops, bars and restaurants. The rooms were very nice, modern bathroom and large balcony. The breakfast was better than expected and snack bar did amazing food and drinks. Alexandra the receptionist was lovely and solved any problems we had. Would definitely visit again!!"
