Iniohos Zante Hotel & Suites ★★★
"Spacious and well-equipped accommodation. Helpful staff and clean pool. The hotel is well located."
Diana Palace Hotel Zakynthos ★★★★
"The food provided by the hotel even surpassed that of the local restaurants"
Mirabelle Hotel ★★★
"The hotel certainly needs a refresh but it has many positive aspects in its favor: the strategic location, the not small swimming pool, the size of the rooms and the cleanliness. I also add the courtesy of the owner, always smiling and ready to help guests. Overall an excellent choice, also for the quality-price ratio."
Ionian Hill Hotel ★★★★
"The rooms are relatively new and modern, unlike the old hotels in Europe. They are clean and sanitary, with complete facilities. The hotel is located by the sea and has a beautiful view of the sea."
Windmill Hotel ★★
"We stayed here for 2 weeks & I cannot recommend it enough the hotel was lovely & the staff were fabulous so friendly & helpful. Breakfast was great. Beds were comfortable & lots of sun loungers. Their restaurant across the road ( Kavo ) the food & setting is fab.especially Greek Night. Very close to lots of bars, restaurants, & coffee shops."
Hotel Palmyra ★★★
"Just arrived back from a perfect trip great hotel close to the beach restaurants and bars of Argasi. Small hotel with great rooms perfect pool comfiest sunbeds well kept grounds really clean. Great poolside bar with really good lunch options. Buffet breakfast was well stocked different daily choices even for the fussiest of travellers!!! All the staff were lovely really helpful full of smiles and help. Would highly recommend Palmyra"
Windmill Bay Hotel ★★★★
"This hotel has to be one of the best we have stayed in Greece. Very luxurious rooms and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Breakfast was excellent, hot and cold choices, lots of fruit and fresh bread. A strong contender for next year."
Contessa Hotel ★★★
"I will start with the plus first. Hotel is very nice and the pool area and snack bar is excellent. The staff at the snack bar are very kind and polite and they always bring your food/drink orders over to your sunbeds if you wish. Prices are reasonable!! Breakfast is good if you are a meat eater, plenty of sausage and bacon. I'm vegetarian and I managed to eat a good breakfast most mornings. I'm not sure about vegans. The rooms are basic but the mattresses are very comfortable. The pillows need an upgrade and the wardrobe is just shelves with no drawers. The down side is the room we are located in. It's right outside the walkway to the reception so it is quite noisy at night. There's a quiet please sign in the hallway but nobody reads it or cares that there's people sleeping. It's not a private balcony as there are people constantly passing by. We had a call when we got to the room saying they wanted €110 for the air con as we flew with jet 2 (not sure what that meant) but my partner went straight there and paid it. The air con is needed so we didn't argue. seeing as we just wanted to settle in after a tiring early flight. Tourist tax was €55 for 11 nights. It seems like most, not all of the staff tend to make a fuss of the people who stay here often and after they get their money for tax and air-conditioning they don't need to be polite again. We stopped saying morning as twice now we spoke and got ignored. We visited kalamaki a couple of times as the strip is much nicer and people much friendlier. There's not much of a beach either so we didn't bother going after seeing how tiny it is (2 rows of sunbeds). There are a lot of nice restaurants on the plus side with very lovely staff. We won't be staying here again but if you do i hope you have a better experience than we are."
Nefeli Beach Hotel ★★★
"Sea view room, you can sleep with the sound of the waves beating"

Locanda
"Found the hotel to be generally quite good for the price we paid. Decided against going all-inclusive, and settled on just the bed-and-breakfast. Rooms were air-conditioned nicely, beds were quite comfortable and the two pools served our needs well. Staff are attentive and rooms are cleaned daily. The sea being a stone’s throw away (photo attached from a sun lounger!) was really handy too. Zakynthos town is close enough that you can visit for the day a few times if you wish, but Argassi has plenty to do if you don’t want to travel. It’s €10 for a taxi into Zakynthos town - a fixed rate so no need to worry about being overcharged - and the walk of about 40 minutes is doable, though I personally found it quite unenjoyable due to the lack of pavements on the busy road. The hotel isn’t perfect of course. The breakfast offerings were quite poor, though there is a nearby bakery that serves nice pastries at a reasonable price. The rooms are very basic, but if you’re not planning on spending much time in the room, it does the job! Overall, the hotel meets the expectations of a 3-star offering. Its location is quite good, only a short walk to nearby bars, shops and restaurants. Most tour operators also offer pickups from the nearby church should you wish to do an activity and don’t wish to walk 15 minutes to the other pickup spot. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced location, I’d recommend Locanda."
Iliessa Beach
"Our first visit to Aggassi. The hotel is in a great location on the sea and doorstep to amazing bars and restaurants. However, hotel is very dated. No kettle in rooms. Not enough sockets. No charger in bathroom. Breakfast choice poor with limited seating. We only stayed for breakfast one morning due to this. Staff are friendly but access to staff limited at times. Great location but dated and not well maintained hotel and gardens."
Agoulos Beach Hotel
"Hi been here for just over a week now...was reading previous reviews on this hotel before I arrived I didn't know what I was arriving to...but on arrival my fear left me thankfully...it's not a flash hotel which I wasn't expecting for the price I'd paid.. rooms are clean view is beautiful overlooking the ocean staff are more than helpful and very friendly food is good also price's are also responsible.,... so please don't Go by the bad reviews that you read on this family hotel some people can't be pleased... come and enjoy this little hotel "
Paradise Beach Hotel
"Just home from a stay here with my partner and witnessed the rudest behaviour from one of the managers, which means I wouldn't go back. People were still finishing breakfast one morning when this woman stormed out of the poolside snack bar and shouted across the pool area to a poor lady to "put back" some cushions she'd moved from one (unoccupied) sunbed to another. Everyone was looking and the poor guest had to ask her to stop yelling. Despite signs outlining pool etiquette (including not to leave towels on sunbeds) everyone pretty much does what they like at this place. So this poor guest was bewildered and a little tearful and humiliated when I spoke to her later. She had a back complaint so had just wanted a cushion on her sunbed which was in the shade. I've never witnessed such terrible customer service in my life, screaming like a banshee at a paying guest! The hotel is pretty average. It benefits from a beachfront location and the rest of the staff are nice enough. But this woman manager needs a lesson in manners and i wouldn't give the place my money again based on her behaviour."
Capriccio Studios
Ananta Blue Residence
"We had a lovely stay at the Sunset Villa. The villa was beautiful and just like the photos and has an amazing view of the sea. It is a short taxi ride to Argassi where all the restaurants and bars are, unlike some other villas which are in the middle of nowhere. But you can hire a car if you want to explore further. Harry was a brilliant host and gave us recommendations for restaurants etc… I would definitely recommend!! "
Katerina Palace Hotel
"WARNING You will have to get up at 6am to get a sun bed by the pool Yes floors around pools can be slippery but this flooring is next level around the pool area! - as mentioned numerous times by different customers on trip advisor Tiles are not fit for purpose Multiple falls witnessed around the pool area Apparently have not had any complaints of falls and injuries? Despite seeing this daily Nothing put in place extra as this clearly is an issue as i know this has been brought to their attention numerous times whilst i was there. Katerina staff nor Tui take any accountability for this nor care about peoples safety People seriously hurt themselves whilst i was there one young boy cracked his head open, another broke her spine in 2 places and another lady fell down the stairs and had severe bruising Staff rude and uninviting Paid €70 per room - which was not informed about prior The only good things about this holiday were being close to other things/ food places etc.. and the cleaning staff for our room was good"
Porto Iliessa by Ghh
"Positives are the location, the balcony size and view, room size and direct access into the sea. You enter the reception area and think wow, then you go to your accommodation... Rooms are tired, run down and rather grubby. Not sure the bathroom has ever seen bleach, lots and lots of mould in the shower, toilet pipe is gaffa taped on, toilet has an orange ring in the water constantly, never goes away. Black scum in the sink. No fan in the bathroom and a window that does not stay open, we used an egg cup to prop it open to get rid of the steam. You have to ask for clean towels. We had a two bedroom apartment, the second room is two sofa beds, these do not pull out, it is just a sheet on the seat area, the sheets were changed once in two weeks. The cleaners are lovely, a mother and daughter (yes just two people for the whole hotel), but they can only clean with what they are given, which appeared to be very limited supplies. The kitchen is "fully equipped", I have never seen rust on a spoon before. Breakfast is served in the sister hotel, just two minutes away, however, if you are under 5ft tall you cannot see or reach into the serving dishes, they are high on a bar top, you are given bistro tables for four to sit at and side plates, really isn't worth the effort, especially considering it closes at 9:30am sharp. Great bakery over the road so one visit to breakfast was enough. The pool area on first look is lovely, strange that the bridge and diving board are closed off but hey I cant dive. Closer inspection shows broken and cracked tiles, black grime in the filtration section, filtration sections has areas missing, steps into the pool have a broken top step, reported it on the 3rd day, still broken when we left. The main handle into the pool is wobbly, pool entrance is full of inflatables, you cant get in for those and un-attended toddlers. The deep area is DEEP, there is no life guard. The pool is open to non residents and they arrive before 7am to secure the best sunbeds. Also pool opens at 10am and closes at 6pm sharp, no leeway during heatwaves. I am aware of the moan here, I have never written a review like this before and it saddens me, but this hotel has so much potential, it just needs a lot of money spent on it to bring it up to spec, it is not a 4 star hotel, a 2 at most, but it could be 4 star with a little investment."
Zakantha Beach
"We had the swiftest check in ever? just handed passports over and were given our room keys, the night receptionist not particularly cheerful but first impressions of the hotel were favorable? Our room was fine though had requested high floor we had 1st floor side sea and pool view which turned out to be ok but for horrendous corridor noise on our first night, as stated also walls quite thin? We had a comfortable bed and everything was kept very clean and fresh towels regularly, I paid for air con which was very good, as stated TV ancient. The over bath shower was a challenge, we are nearly 70 with some mobility issues and it was quite unsafe. Just a grab rail would have made all the difference? The breakfast we tried twice and was ok but we just hate the getting up and down for things and the coffee was not to our taste? I have to say though the dining area and the staff were lovely, most people would find something to eat. The pool bar and the food on offer there was very good, the young chap who had a new baby girl who served there was really lovely and super friendly. The location was superb and the grounds and views were really something. We found the indoor bar and lounges a little sorry to be honest, always empty? Great to be at the edge of the resort as despite a really busy road was peaceful and bars etc were mostly a little up the road, some superb tavernas close by and in the resort. On our last day we were unable to keep the room on but were offered another for 50 euro which was absolultley awful ! it was on the road directly opposite a busy bar, clearly an older room with old fashioned air con which was pretty useless! not able to open balcony door or curtains as like a fish bowl! We were a sweaty mess trying to get ready for our 6pm pick up. We tend to agree not really a 4* hotel until a few things are rectified but once we settled in we had a really lovely holiday and would stay there again."
