"We stayed in room 19 for one night. It was a large room with a great shower and big bathroom including a bath. This room is in The Quay a few minutes' walk from the pub so luckily the weather was dry for our walks between the pub and the accommodation. The view from our room across to Instow was great although sadly the weather was cloudy and drizzly to really appreciate it! The food in the pub is excellent and the staff we met were all very friendly."

"Stayed in room 3 which was very comfortable and homely. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were very friendly and informative. I will be back, a very beautiful location. My only criticism is that i would have liked a full length mirror in the room."

"Stayed for 3 nights with our puppy and we lived it. The place was spotlessly clean! I wish I had the cleaners. We had a very spacious room overlooking the quay and managed to park right outside. We absolutely loved being within walking distance of all the fab places to eat. Appledore has been our happy place for last 12 years. Highly recommend it."

"Lovely apartment above restaurant but very noisy! Doors slamming, closing restaurant time awful. So much noise. It says apartments are sound proofed…. Couldn’t hear restaurant customers talking, but the clearing up and locking up extremely disruptive at 11.30pm for a least an hour. Could hear everything from flat sbove too. Such a shame as apartment is very nice and the view is stunning."
