"As a solo traveller I was unsure of the best prices/packages for tourism but when I arrive Abdulrahman helped me a lot to book all the trips I wanted with the confidence that it was reasonably priced and safe. He gave me several tips for these areas which helped a lot. The overall vibe of the hostel was great, relaxed and I met some great people there. There are also some card games available that we enjoyed playing together. Rooms were also cosy and clean. A good establishment with great hospitality from the staff."

"Safe and clean hotel, and bed was reasonably comfortable. And a good breakfast. So why the poor review? Dinner was terrible - cold lumpy rice, no local food, poor service as we could not get a drink. Gym was closed as they had moved tables into it for some event they were holding - not much better when open as much of the equipment was broken. Hot water pot did not work - had to ask for a new one. Refrigerator in room did not get cold and no temp adjustment - had maintenance take a look and they said all fixed - but still did not get cold. Mentioned to the desk in morning and they claimed the refrigerator in room is not meant to to keep anything cold! We had two towels first night, housekeeping replaced the two towels and bathmat with just one towel. Loud garbage truck at 6am. Note this is in a residential neighborhood, so there is nothing nearby."

"One of the worst hotel stays ever — avoid at all costs! My wife and I stayed at The Liwan Hotel for one night before traveling back to our country. We booked this hotel to get some rest, but instead we had a nightmare experience. We were given room 114, which had an indoor A/C unit that made an unbelievably loud, disturbing noise all night — even when it was turned off! When I called reception, they immediately knew the problem and the room number, and at checkout they admitted they knew about this issue before giving us the room. Total disregard for guests. At 3 AM, we were forced to change rooms just to try to get a few hours of sleep. But the worst part came in the morning when a complete stranger opened our door and walked into our room at 7:30 AM. No security, no privacy, no proper management. I paid 50 J.D. for zero rest, stress, and the shock of having a stranger enter our room while we were sleeping. This hotel clearly does not care about guests’ comfort or safety."

"The service and location were truly exceptional. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. Our room was clean and comfortable, with the minor exception of a broken desk chair. The heating in the floor was not operational, so we were provided with an electrical heater, which was a little noisy. Overall, our experience was positive, though I had anticipated a slightly more refined accommodation experience from a five-star hotel. I understand that it is not peak season, and despite this, I would still recommend it."
