La Maison Rabelais ★★★★
"Really nice breakfast. Super convenient location for exploring Amboise on foot."
Le Manoir Saint Thomas ★★★★
"The hotel is a single-family white building within a wall. The interior and exterior of the building maintains a classical style. There is a large garden in front of the building with several parking spaces. When you open the window from upstairs, you can see the garden green space. There are only birds chirping in your ears, and you can see the hills not far away. It is very comfortable and peaceful."
Best Western le Vinci Loire Valley ★★★
"Lovely little place to rest and explore Amboise. Easy 15 - 20 mins walk into the centre of Amboise which the receptionist told us about without prompting. They also had a list of recommended restaurants for us to try which made it easy as first time visitors to the area."
Ibis Budget Amboise ★★
"Outside the town centre. Everything works in this hotel. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Free carparking at premises. Overall stay is pleasant."
Hotel Bellevue ★★★
Novotel Amboise ★★★★
"The room was small but fairly clean, and the receptionist was very helpful."
Manoir du Parc (Adults Only) ★★★★
"Wonderful old stone mansion tastefully renovated and delightfully run by Gael and Bruno. They were helpful and attentive to all customer needs and excellent individualized breakfasts. A short walk to the castle Royal, restaurants and town services. The hotel has cabanas in the trees in the woods behind the property each with a hot tub. There is also a well cared for pool in a private area. Good car parking."
Logis Hôtel Chaptal, Amboise ★★★
"8am in the morning no one in the reception, main doors lock and no one process the check out, we need to catch the morning train, other guest also stuck suffering with no breakfasts. What’s an experience!"
Ibis Amboise ★★★
"The hotel is located in the business zone, quiet, with good soundproofing. Decent parking, good breakfast. There were no toothbrushes in the room. Only two paper glasses. The only hotel that was on trip.com for reasonable money in snowfall."

Vvf Amboise les Châteaux de la Loire
"We had a wonderful time in this very friendly place. Tony and his team are fantastic! Attentive and helpful with advice for our visits... We enjoyed full board for the Christmas holidays with very good food. Thank you also for the wonderful New Year's Eve celebration. The apartment was very clean and the bedding comfortable. We're leaving tomorrow but will definitely return to this establishment if we come back to finish our visits to castles or other sites. Thank you. Anne Laure and Davy C."
Les Colonnes de Chanteloup
"Every traveler finds or not ...what he comes to search ... I wish you could find what you were expecting. It wasn't our case.A good location and a website let the best predefine. Our order, reception, care needs we have been used to find for 20 years traveling in guest rooms were not satisfied. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable. Amboise is a very nice small town."
Chateau de Pray
"The hotel is relatively remote. I booked a room for four people. There were two beds upstairs, but the ventilation was poor."
Relais d'Amboise - the Leading Hotels of the World
"We stayed at the Manoir as it was ideally suited for walking to the town and had good parking facilities. Amboise is ideally situated for visiting surrounding Chateau. We had a very comfortable room and the staff (especially Marine) were very helpful. Breakfast was good but the fruits selection was limited. Our only complaint was with the Wi-Fi and as we were staying for 4 nights we had to log on to the Wi-Fi every 24 hours. Most inconvenient"
Chambres d'Hôtes Troglodytes le Clos de l'Hermitage
"This is not a regular hotel. It's an experience. And a fantastic experience at that. The idea of sleeping in a very old cave with little ventilation, no natural light and high humidity might not sound appealing to all but we definitely enjoyed it. Personally I would not stay for more than one night but the property is well worth a visit. The room while not too bright is nicely decorated and pleasant to be in. The only complaint about the room is the wall between the room and the toilet which is not complete. Wall only goes until like 2 meteres and then there's a massive gap all the way to the high ceiling. You really need the toilet to be completely separate from the rest of the room which this was not. My wife and I have been married for several years but we still like our privacy and a sound/smell barrier is definitely needed if you know what I mean. Most of the staff were lovely. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and we felt welcome most of the stay. One complaint though - we first arrived about an hour before the designated checkin time and just wanted to use the bathroom urgently after a few hours of driving but the man who was there at the time (different person to the main reception gentleman) was very rude to us and basically kicked us out and told us to come back after the check in time. Bizarre. That man should not be talking to guests. Very angry person. So we had to leave and go search for a bathroom in a restaurant nearby. The experience improved a lot after we came back to check in though and we haven't seen the angry man again. The breakfast was excellent we just wished we had our own table rather than sharing with others. Not a dealbreaker but we like our privacy. Now our favourite thing about this property was the pool that never closes. So unlike virtually all hotels in the world, you can have a swim at any time of the day and night. Which we did, at midnight. While having a bottle of wine. It was incredible :)"
La Bonne Etape
"The room was nice, the breakfast was nice, the cleanliness was nice, the service was nice, and they even provided a kettle. The only downside was that I checked in a little late."
La Petite Vigne
"Family-run single-family house, because there is no obvious sign or house, it is easy to accidentally walk over. The door is a lush small yard. It is recommended to send an email to the landlord to confirm the checkin time before going. The room is full of antique furniture available, the bathroom has heating, the tiger window has a great view The landlord is a very cute grandmother and her son's family. Breakfast will also ask the guests in advance the day before. The most important thing is that there is 🐱! There is 🐱! Super petite kitten If you have to pick something wrong, the landlord’s English is not very fluent. Communication needs to be slower, but there is no problem with the meaning of dredging."
