"I must say, it's rather difficult to start with this review, since the initial contact and conversation with the owners was incredibly good, friendly, energetic, and polite. However, the pictures on the various social media are heavily misleading; the breakfast was very poor (discount croissant and a single coffee drink, the second one was on a extra charge), the room had the bathtub broken, the air conditioning broken, plus, the lights leading to the casale were broken, and everything had to be discovered in the worst moment. On the last day, I arrived at the start of the breakfast hour and I was told to be quit because the casale was full, alghough when I left the room was almost empty, so why put pressure for no reason? I am not coming back and I am baffled that the reviews of this place are not reflecting the reality of the structure, which is however in a beautiful location."

"We stayed one night walking the Via Francigena the rooms are large and clean - the hotel is close to restaurants and shops and serves a decent breakfast - we had some confusion when leaving as we thought we had paid but they were very understanding in notifying us and sorting out the issue. Well priced hotel"

"Great small bed and breakfast Villa. It is very good to visit the hilltop villages of northern tuscany. It is 5 mins from the autostrada which means good access to Pisa, Florence and Lucca and beyond. Great breakfast with gluten free products Comfortable bed And most importantly friendly and helpful hosts. Will certainly recommend and return if in the area."
