"During a tour to Puglia, we stayed one night in this building, the room was modern and well furnished, as well as the common spaces. The hotel is a little far from the centre of Altamura, but reachable with a 15-minute walk. I didn't appreciate the dinner menu very much, but the staff were careful and contented with some changes. Overall, it has been a positive experience."

"This lovely, 17th century palazzo was our home for a week as part of a walking holiday. Every morning we walked down through the old city walls to our bus, parked outside in the modern town we never visited except to drive through. Our bedroom was one of the ones close to the stairwell, with a high, beautifully painted ceiling and enough room to have a party in it. The bed was comfortable and spotless, the bathroom spacious and well-equipped - but for one thing: I could have done with at least one other hook in the bathroom, as well as a chest of drawers in the bedroom. There isn't really enough room for the clothes of two people in the wardrobe. The breakfast in the Caravaggio room was lovely and the service friendly and obliging. We had a tiny balcony overlooking a side-street where the barber's shop just beneath entertained us with their enthusiastic conversations - and I'm not being sarcastic: we loved hearing them. I don't know how the temperature would be in high summer - our air-con unit was of an old-fashioned type which we liked because it didn't dry the air out as much as a modern one, but it wasn't particularly cold either. It was perfect in mid-September. Altamura doesn't have many foreign tourists as yet - we were made to feel extremely welcome in the shops and in the restaurant we ate in. All in all, I loved the hotel, the ambience, the feeling of being in the heart of a historic Italian town."

"Excellent experience. Bed and breakfast worthy of a good hotel. In the center, easily accessible, near the Duomo. Courteous and very helpful owners. New rooms, well furnished, with air conditioning and TV in the room. Bathroom with large shower, with new bathroom linens, and related products. Comfortable place to have breakfast, rich and varied, with products prepared directly by the owner who, on request, prepares excellent sandwiches and drinks to take away, at a good price. Deserving of the name "Stupor mundi". In short, it is difficult to find better. Well done and congratulations. Vincenzo and Cecilia."
