"Good location and the bathroom was lovely, the floor in my room creaked a lot so I had to walk around the outside so as not to disturb other guests. There was an issue on night 1 when some noisy residents in another block that started around midnight, by 01:45 I had had enough and went to sort it myself. I informed the reception the following day as there were no staff on the premises once the kitchen/bar staff left around. I asked what should I have done in light of no staff and was told I could call the main hotel number and someone would pick up as they do an on call rota. The drinking area outside the entrance to the hotel was also a source of noise albeit once that was generally quite after 23:00 and it would depend on which side of the hotel your room was on. It was very warm during my stay but unfortunately no fans were available for guest use and although the rooms had great windows it was very hard to ventilate when there was no breeze outside. The pillows are far too soft, I asked for 2 extra and managed to fold them in two and by using all 3 pillows it was near to what one would expect for a UK guest. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all nice, the breakfast was nothing special and having only 1 small toaster was not really good enough to suit the number of guests. The car park at the rear was OK so long as guests were respectful on how they parked and they are additional parking a short distance down the street. In summary I don't think Hotel Rieder offered good value for money and I am sorry to say that I would not stay there again. I know they are plenty of positive reviews but I have reviewed as I found, single traveller wanting a decent night's sleep in a quite room."

"This hotel is the most famous hotel in the area. The facilities are great, and the breakfast is also great. There are many varieties of breakfast. I recommend the orange juice squeezed from fresh oranges. You can see the oranges going in and out of the city. The variety of breakfast is quite rich. The tea bags at the bottom are the famous German fruit tea. They are very delicious. I recommend you to have a cup. All the rooms in the hotel can see the roundabout below. The roar is until late at night every night. The parking space at the entrance of the hotel is only allowed to park for half an hour. He did not recommend the parking lot below his hotel. I don’t know what the situation is. We parked the car in the parking lot opposite the overpass. There is no charge on the gravel road, so there is no problem parking the car there. This hotel is very close to the famous Nürburgring red letter, just downstairs from his building, and it is beautiful to take pictures at any time. It is about four or five kilometers from this hotel by car, which is the experience of rain taxi. You can spend 4,000 yuan to take a lap of racing cars. But you need to make an email reservation 7 days in advance."

"My stay at the Seehotel Maria Laach was okay. I usually stay in more affordable accommodations, so I have high expectations for a 4-star superior hotel and can easily compare what's offered at lower prices. The breakfast was really good, and the reception staff and most of the other employees were friendly and helpful. That was a positive. Given the rather high room rates, a parking space would have been nice. It's a shame there was no spa or wellness area—I expected more in that regard from a 4-star superior hotel, such as a sauna or some other pampering treatments. Also, one employee in the restaurant seemed quite unmotivated, although the others were friendly and helpful. However, I was truly disappointed that in such a hotel, the espresso machine wasn't even served by a barista with proper latte art. That's standard practice in any good café these days. The basic automatic coffee machine is only a last resort for true coffee lovers. The hotel isn't responsible for guests who don't behave. However, people talking loudly on their phones could certainly be reminded of their disruptive behavior. Overall, I can recommend the hotel, especially for guests who value a good breakfast and a friendly welcome. The room on the top floor was small and cozy, with a great view. The view of the lake and the peaceful surroundings is magnificent, and the proximity to the wonderful monastery complex and hiking trails couldn't be better."

"What a great hotel to spend a night at. You have 3 parking areas to park your vehicle, reception are very helpful. We booked one of the suites, I have never stayed in a room that size for £180. The bed was very comfortable, you then had a sofa bed and kitchenette in another room, and the bathroom with bath and walkin shower was probably the size of a normal hotel room. To get to the room you had to walk through the library so you were basically away from any other customers. Breakfast is very good and has a wide range of food. A very nice hotel, apparently very nice in the winter as recommended by the receptionist."
