"we stayed last weekend for a triathlon competition, the hotel had an agreement with the event. I found the reception staff unprepared, first of all they didn't give any information on the hotel services, I had to ask for the breakfast time, they hadn't foreseen a storage area where to put the bikes, they hadn't foreseen an advance breakfast time for the guests. athletes on race day, did not provide post-race support rooms to take a shower. The hotel pools are thermal and still too cold to swim with children, and obviously in the entire pool area but also at the reception there is a typical spa smell (rotten eggs), I would recommend the hotel to put flowers or perfume the reception. The mediocre breakfast, the undrinkable machine coffee, the croissants and hazelnut cream of very low quality, the simple daisy-type cakes and the empty croissants are good. The room is nothing special, the bathroom needs improvement, old sanitary ware. The only good thing is the location because it is close to the town and there is a beautiful equipped beach underneath the structure."

I'm sorry to have brought my friends to this place Osceno, the first thing they told us as soon as we arrived with the baggage in the car to go down was the rooms' balance after I sent him the bill, even a glass of water from the Welcome after my friends had made 3 hours of car, cmq we pay we go up to the room first we open the refrigerator to take a drop of water and... BRUST FREICES IN THE SUmmer IN ALL Rooms and No bottle of water you find it Even in the smallest 1 star b&bs... (I remember that it costs 15 cents a bottle) After paying more than €100 per room per night. Let's call to complain and they answer that the refrigerators kept the temperature (which is not true) bad! Cmq we go down to buy it 1.50€ per bottle, after 13:00 we go down to the beach and make us pay the whole day bed even there bad, we take lunch and VI ANNEX the photo of the Caprese plate that served us at 11€... I from SICILIANA I'm ashamed of you! with such things you are from Denuncia! The guy of the shop needs things with a cigarette in the mouth!! I stop here and I don't want to continue because he made me disfigure with my friends as I proposed it, many friends waited for my feedback for any case never book them ... BHE THE RESPOT IS ... NOT think MINIMUM GO GO elsewhere!!! Even the sea water waste like there was a closet wastewater!!! Tip: You have the potential in your hands and you are not able to manage it HOW THAT IS (beside the sea, there is the sea where we went to eat and drink there very well and even lower prices of this lid)"

"1) The card swiping system at the door of the room was too old, causing the room card to malfunction and the room door could not be opened. It took a lot of communication. 2) The room with breakfast was booked, but the front desk made a mistake and asked to pay. It took half a day to confirm it. "Increasingly disappointed with Club Marmara. The hotel is old. Beautiful view. The sea is nearby with a free shuttle train. The staff is unwelcoming. This is the first hotel where the cleaning staff and restaurant staff don't say hello. As for the restaurant, it's repetitive, tasteless, and there's always less meat when you arrive. Poorly managed portion sizes. Beware! Don't listen too much to the Marmara representative who tries to sell you expensive and pointless excursions. They also offer a bus for €5 per person to take you to Sciacca, but it only lasts 3 hours there, whereas if you go to the hotel next door for €1.20, you can go into town and come back whenever you want. Another thing they don't tell you: there's a superb market in Sciacca every Saturday morning. My advice: for people who can't handle long bus rides and walking, avoid the excursions, except for the pasta-making tour in Sciacca. There's no point in going to Mount Etna; the bus journey is too long, 4.5 hours on the way back is exhausting, and there's nothing to see at the top. It's also very expensive for the experience, as is the boat cruise; for the price, you could just swim in coves..."

"We love, love, loved our stay here! The setting is absolutely dreamy - the grounds are immaculate, the food is excellent and, of course, their wine is divine. We stayed in the wonderfully spacious Olive suite which has 2 floors and would be perfect for a family of 4. It has its very own large patio with an unexpected sea view. My husband and I chose this beautiful property as our base to visit the Valley of the Temples and Scala dei Turchi - the location was perfect. We loved spending our afternoon by the stunning pool after a day of exploring. My only regret is that we only booked 2 nights. Will definitely be back."

"Just had a lovely week at Il Marchese - we found the staff to be fantastic, particularly Elviro who provided an excellent breakfast every morning and was so helpful! The pool area is lovely - sun beds perhaps not the best though. You can get great paninis and focaccia through the day and there is a pool bar. The hotel is in such a peaceful location although you definitely need a car as there isn’t too much close by. The room was a good size but I can’t give 5 stars as we had a couple of issues - the shower didn’t work very well and we often had to hold the operating knob so it would stay on. We also had a problem with the toilet not re-filling but we were able to fix it. There were quite a few ants at one point but the cleaners put an ant trap in the room which helped. We got massages on two occasions and they were lovely! We didn’t use the spa but we saw the facilities whilst getting the massages and it looked like a nice area. We tried to book a joint spa session (80 Euro per couple for two hours) but we were told it was only available for a private booking which was 160 - we thought that was a bit expensive. All in all, we had a lovely stay and the staff were very accommodating. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet location with the option to go to busy Sciacca which is about a 10 minute drive away."
