"The property is modern, welcoming, and conveniently located within a 15-20 minute walk of the beach and a 10-minute walk to the city center. The service could be improved: I checked in and entered my room. It was tidy, but the trash can was dirty with pieces of fruit in it—unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. I reported to the receptionist on duty that all she could say was, "Okay, I'll report it to the manager who's coming next week," without taking any action. I would have expected at least an apology and for her to call housekeeping to fix it. The next day, I reported it to another receptionist, who responded with, "Thanks for reporting it to me." :D. That said, I think the service was very poor and not in line with the category classification."

"We stayed here as a base for visiting different parts of the area and could not of been happier. Lovely, spacious exceptionally clean room with views over the pool and golf club. The breakfast was very good with a large selection of fresh fruit, pastries and eggs. Lastly the staff, Benoit on reception, was brilliant. Great guy who did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Secondly, Kieron (my spelling could be wrong) the king of breakfast, a very cool guy from Mauritius who was a real gent, nothing was too much trouble. Overall a really lovely stay, don’t hesitate to book here, it’s a delight to visit."

"We have a fantastic stay in the Capao Beach hotel, the level of service was excellent across all aspects of the hotel. In particular we really appreciated the hospitality shown from Jason in the management team and Syntia and team in Reception. ( thank you for the roses !! ) The hotel restaurant food was superb and the personalised services really appreciated. We will definitely be returning for another relaxing stay and highly recommend this hotel, just a few meters from the beach. Best Regards Tony and Michelle Ireland"

"This is a very nice cheap hotel. Calling it a resort is definitely a stretch of the imagination. Very small pool, steam room, and Sauna. Everything was clean and orderly. Limited hours in pool and steam/ sauna. It probably saves significantly on power draw, so I understand, but not guest friendly. Front desk is only open from 15:00 to 18:00. Not guest friendly. Some of the pics are actually from the resort next door. Some false advertising. Beware. The €15 room service breakfast is probably the greatest value room service I have ever seen. Well worth it. Surprising even. 10€ self laundry is too much, and after 2plus hours in the dryer I just took my wet clothes to room and hung them to dry. Additionally, you self clean much of the room or pay 100€. No wifi in rooms. It's 2024. Time to upgrade. I would absolutely go back."

The reception staff where outstanding from start to finish, supportive and offered to charge our phones as well as pointing us in the right direction for clothes etc. Food was lovely, great selection and fresh. "Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, particularly Emmanuel at reception, who welcomed us and saw to our comfort by checing us and our teenage sons in adjecent rooms that made our stay particularly pleasant. Rooms are clean, the pool area great and it is close to a very nice beach. We didnt have breakfast in the lobby but used the hotel service to order bread and croissants. The hotel is comfortable and very well located. If you want to be even closer to the beach, check out the villas. Thank you for a lovely stay."
