Lena Mare Boutique Hotel ★★★★

📍 Acharavi, Acharavi

"Beautiful hotel, super friendly and helpful staff, great sized room with own personal hot tub, balcony overlooking the pool with beautiful views of the sea and the sun setting. Really cannot recommend this hotel enough. Lucky to go at the start of the season so not many guests and so peaceful, perfect place to have a few solid days R & R and great base for exploring north of the island. Breakfast is simple but again just right, greek yoghurt, freshly baked breads etc and all included in price. Price is sooooo cheap for this standard of hotel and if possible snap it up whilst prices are low as imagine as it gets busier and more popular it will get more expensive. Gym is small so don't expect too much and beauty treatments by and external company so need to be booked in advance. I didn't eat here in the evening but told chef is really good. Pool service to your subbed from the bar and nothing too much trouble for any of the staff. If you're looking for the perfect getaway in the north of the island this is the place. Best food I found was in a restaurant called 'The Garden' in town, great souvlaki and house white!"

"A beautiful hotel, set in gardens next to the beach. Staff were really welcoming, and always so friendly and helpful. Food was great, we loved all the al a carte restaurants, set amongst the ‘village square’ central area to the hotel. Lots of really nice extras…. The crepe & ice creams next to the beach, the patisserie bar in the evening, the snack bar near the pool. The beach is beautiful, easily accessible, the sea is warm clear and shallow. We never had a problem finding a sunbed by the pool or the beach at any time of day. I would recommend the Wine tasting with the amazing Georgia, a great experience. We had the most amazing, relaxing holiday We will definitely be back !"

Century Resort ★★★★

📍 Alexias Triviza, Acharavi

"Century Resort is nice but we were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel accommodation was nothing like the one advertised on the Tui website. Whilst we appreciate that images on a website is an illustrative guide, they should still be realistic of the standard we can expect. The room on the Tui website looked nothing like the one we were allocated. This is room 703 which looked like a former storage utility room with metal railings converted into a bedroom - as you can see in the pictures. I think if we had been given a room that looked like the picture on the website then we would've given higher marks. Pros: - The bed was comfortable. - People at the resort are friendly - especially our cleaner with the reddish hair. - The resort is family friendly and really good for kids. - The service is efficient. Cons: - We stayed room 703 which looked nothing like the one advertised on Tui website. It was more like a former storage room with metal railings and we had paid for 10 days! We would never had booked this room if I had seen the real pictures. - The garden view faces the car park driveway. - I had ordered a chicken meal for lunch at the resort and found pork. I can eat pork but some people do not. - Dirty cups in the bedroom weren't replaced. We used handwash to rinse it ourselves. We were very disappointed with our room, but otherwise, location was very good, pool was good, staff was polite, and great for families. Our satisfaction rating would've been higher if it wasn't for the room."

Acharavi Beach Hotel

Acharavi Beach Hotel ★★★★

📍 Acharavi, Acharavi

"The room was quite clean. We stayed in a duplex which can accommodate 4 people. The shower water pressure was great. The hotel has a nice view. There are many beach chairs, and the charge is 6 euros for an umbrella and two chairs (unlimited time). There are two restaurants on the beach, both of which tasted very good. There are three swimming pools and beautiful pool lights at night. The breakfast is quite rich, of course it is different from those five-star hotels in Yalong Bay, Sanya, but the desserts are delicious!"

"I spent 10 days at this hotel. My first impression upon arrival was disappointing, as a group of guests shouted at me, “Why did you come here? To ruin your vacation? Leave while you still can!” I have to admit, I was a bit alarmed, but I couldn’t understand why they were telling me to leave if they themselves were still staying there. In general, though, my experience was excellent. A team of people who made everything seem possible, a pool that was out of order for the first two days after my arrival — but it didn’t really matter, because the beach was only a 10-minute walk away, so getting there without a car was easy. Our room was cool, clean, and bright — a bit worn out, but spotless. Breakfast had plenty of options and fresh fruit every day. Overall, I was very satisfied and I would definitely come back. I believe it’s the simple things that make our holidays unforgettable — not stubbornly staying somewhere you don’t enjoy and ruining the days of others, both guests and staff. To the Mr & Mrs White team — thank you, and I look forward to seeing you again soon!"

Tzilios Studios ★★★

📍 Beach, Nikiforos Lane 4, Acharavi

"Second time staying here as it’s a lovely place- basic but apartments have everything you need, beautiful massive pool, good bar, delicious food and friendly staff, LOADS of sunbeds. It is a 15/20 minute walk to the beach/town. Our first visit was amazing and so relaxing with lovely guests to chat pleasantly with over a drink or by the pool however this visit didn’t have the same vibe due to some of the English guests- loud, obnoxious and cliquey (a certain few parties) but they definitely ruined the first few days for me personally. No consideration for anyone else and appeared to be unable to talk quietly- everything was at full decibel from morning til night. Obviously this isn’t the hotel’s fault but it has put me off wanting to go back in case they were to return at the same time, the last couple of days were blissfully peaceful once the majority had gone home aside from one woman who was there the whole time 🙄. All in all a great wee place- take earplugs and headphones incase you have the misfortune of being there at the same time as the Yorkshire/Leeds folk. "

"I was surprised, because everything looks much better in live. The beach is practically on the territory of the hotel. The most beautiful sandy beach in the Archavi part (the shores are stony if you go along the embankment). Two sunbeds and an umbrella cost only €6. Ewerywhere is very clean. There is a large parking lot. Breakfast is served in a 4* hotel of the same chain. Wide selection of food. There is a bigger supermarket nearby. The rooms are simple but tidy. We had a small kitchen and a terrace with the garden view. I recommend to take a sea view room, its really great view. We have lived in three places on the island, but this hotel is just perfect and the best we have booked in Corfu."

"Exactly what to expect from Greece! Great location for the beach and bars / restaurants. Basic accommodation but for a week it’s got everything you need. Air con is extra (to be expected). Pool area is great, large pool, ample sun beds and a decent little bar which does breakfast and lunch. Only slight issue would be the cleanliness, could do with daily cleaning when each person is having two showers a day you need fresh towels. Overall would recommend for a chilled out week."

Lena Mare Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"This boutique hotel is very well presented. You wouldn't think it was 3*. Probably only the fact the reception isn't open 24hrs which is fine. Some of the photos on here are out of date as think it was refurbished in 2023. The pool area has lots of different seating and loungers, a bar and was never that busy or loud. It did look very high end. Rooms are a generous size. Some have private hot tubs. Breakfast had plenty of choices including healthy fruits, yoghurt, cereal. A short walk to the restaurants and shops, a bit further to the pebbly nearby beach. Useful to have a car as a hour from the airport and you can then get to other beaches. Only minor room for improvement areas are pool towels weren't always available. They were on demand rather than provided on check in then swapped. Nespresso coffee pods in the room had a fee. Toiletries could have been replenished more regularly. I would recommend this hotel. Ideal for couples."

"This hotel is by far the best, gorgeous hotel i’ve ever been to. I loved it so much i didn’t want to leave. I went with my family in spring time and i cannot explain how good of a time we had. The food was outstanding and the options were unbelievable! The staff were the best and very funny, they made our 10 day stay the best they could. My favourite part about this place isn’t far the creperie where they make the crepes right in front of you next to the beach! Walk down and you can sit eating ice cream and food while watching the waves. If you are looking for somewhere fun, 0 stress and exciting, this is the place for you!!"

"Our second stay at Century Resort, the first a decade ago. Our memories served us well, the hotel remains very friendly and welcoming, the rooms large and spacious and plenty of sun beds available around the pool no matter what time of the day. Plenty of shade offered by trees and greenery. Would highly recommend."

Tzilios Studios ★★★
"Lovely apartments, they make you really feel welcome. It is effectively run by a very friendly Greek family, its not posh, but you have everything you need, and you only need to ask if you want anything or help. They have quite a lot of cute friendly cats that roam around the place. The pool is lovely, their are always plenty of sunbeds available. The bar and food served there is very good and very reasonably priced. Wifi is very good by the pool and bar area. Sometimes we were not always able to get wifi in our apartment, perhaps it needs a booster? or perhaps too many people using it at the same time? The town of Acharavi is on the doorstep, and about 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket. The local beach is about 400 metres walk. The bus stop is just outside, and has a reasonable bus service, alternatively you can book coach trips to other local resorts cheaply anyway, if you dont wish to drive. We would be quite happy to go back again, and highly recommend this place."

Filorian Hotel Apartments ★★★
"Fantastic location, right on the sea front. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, with a sea view. The bedrooms were large and airy with air conditioning. The kitchenette was small and basic - small hob, kettle and fridge / freezer. The bathroom was extremely outdated, with rust in the bath/shower. We didn't use the living room. Whilst perfectly fine and big, the apartment lacked any nice touches such as no art work on the magnolia walls. I was happy with it for the price we paid. The pool area was lovely, with direct access to the beach and a Greek Taverna which was part of the hotel. Breakfast was served in the more upmarket sister hotel, Acharavi Beach - with surprise tortoises inside just off reception. We could also use their facilities - which was a great bonus. They had a pool on the sea front and then a gorgeous quiet pool in the centre of the complex. There was a restaurant onsite too, in addition to the dining room. There were bars and restaurants within easy walking distance along the beach. A small supermarket was just off site and a larger one 5 minutes walk away on the main road. From this road you could get a bus into Roda, Sidari or to Kassiopi in the opposite direction. We went into Sidari for a Greek night - bus there and taxi back (€23). Would definitely recommend this hotel."

Nireas Resort Corfu ★★
"We booked a week at Nireas as a late deal package through EasyJet. For the price we paid, the apartment was brilliant. We had a one bed, which was on the ground floor and had a separate kitchen / living space with extra pull out beds, a shower room, a small terrace off the bedroom and a larger terrace off the kitchen. The apartment was basic, but it was clean and functional and better than we had expected for the price. The kitchen area had a fridge, two ring hob, kettle and microwave. There was a washing line with pegs on the larger terrace which was great for swimwear. Thanks to the layout of the complex and the planting around the site, both terraces felt quite private. The apartment was cleaned frequently and we got fresh towels twice during the week, and the beds stripped and fully remade once. Nireas is a short few minutes walk from the beach and beachfront bars / restaurants in one direction, and a similar distance from the main street of Acharavi with loads of restaurants etc and a supermarket just at the top of the road, so cannot fault the location. We hired a bike and there was no issue parking outside our apartment. This meant we did get out and explore the island so did not spend as much time in the complex as others, but there would be plenty within walking distance if you did not hire a vehicle. We didn’t use the pool and bar area much due to being so close to the beach and town, but it always seemed clean and welcoming. We were able to leave our cases at the bar without issue on our last day after checkout as we had an evening transfer. There was air con available in the bedroom but this is for an extra charge. We prefer not to use it anyway and were fine in the apartment we had without it. Definitely make sure you have mozzie repellent if you’re sensitive to bites as there are a lot around (true for most of the coastal areas if you’re out of the breeze, so not specific to the accommodation, just one to be aware of). In downsides, as per a previous review, we arrived after midnight with two other groups and it was very confusing as no staff / open reception desk, just posters in the reception window telling us which apartments we were assigned to. The reception itself is pretty tucked away and was hard to find after hours of travelling and in the dark, and we were conscious of not wanting to disturb other guests as we wandered about trying to figure out what to do. A heads up about the system or sending some info in advance by email would have made this so much easier. There was some kitchen equipment provided but very limited cutlery / utensils, so while it was fine for us to do breakfast and snacks in the apartment, it would have been a struggle to make a more substantial meal. This may be luck of the draw as to what is provided in each apartment. Although everything was clean, the apartment did show signs of wear and tear, especially in the bathroom and kitchen areas."
