On the positive side, the hotel has quite a few recreational facilities, and the room amenities are decent and relatively new.
On the negative side, the biggest problem is the excessive dampness in the room. It was uncomfortable to sleep in, and although the hotel changed the bedding, it didn't help much. This might be due to the humid air during the rainy season in Xishuangbanna, but two things puzzled me: 1) The front desk said no one else had reported this issue before. 2) I stayed at three hotels during this trip, and Zhucheng was the third. The other two were right next to Zhucheng, and their rooms didn't feel noticeably damp.
Also, the hotel room didn't pay enough attention to some details. The sofa arrangement prevented the curtains from closing completely automatically; I had to manually close them. The refrigerator was also quite noisy, which affected my sleep.

Choosing the Adaman Hotel by Mingyoo Li Cheng was absolutely the best decision I made for this Xishuangbanna trip. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the corridors enveloped in tropical greenery, exuding an exotic vibe. Every snapshot I took turned into a stunning, atmospheric photo. The room was spacious and cozy, with smart controls throughout, making everything super convenient. The bedding was incredibly soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a wonderfully restful sleep every night.
The location is also fantastic – close to the airport, which makes getting around a breeze. Whether you want to escape the crowds for some peaceful time or explore Xishuangbanna's beautiful sights, this place is perfectly suited. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Xishuangbanna!

Here's my review of the Banyan Tree Lijiang; overall, it was a very comfortable stay.
The room featured a king-sized bed and a sofa bed. The entire place was spotless, and any request we made to the staff was met with a prompt and thorough response.
I particularly loved the room layout. The sleeping area with the large bed, the living area with the sofa, and the bathroom each had doors that could be closed off, creating separate, private spaces. It felt as spacious as a two-bedroom suite.
It also came with a private courtyard that included a hot spring jacuzzi, with the water temperature perfectly adjusted. The whole garden was incredibly quiet, making for a truly relaxing soak.

AggieThe room was very clean, and the host was super friendly and helpful with luggage. There's also a Samoyed named Mitsu who is incredibly friendly; my kids absolutely adored her and couldn't bear to leave. The dog was very clean and well-behaved. Overall, the guesthouse was very quiet.

Valen WangComing from their other property, this one offered a completely different experience! It boasts a large ranch with many small animals, a coffee shop, and cabins, making it perfect for couples, families, or those traveling with children.
**Amenities:** As expected from a high-end hotel in a high-altitude region, it had all the essentials: oxygen concentrators, humidifiers, and more.
**Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean, with disposable toiletries provided.
**Environment:** Words can't do it justice – just look at the pictures! Once checked in, I didn't leave the hotel. I changed into local attire for photos, interacted with the animals, enjoyed coffee at the café, and savored local specialties. There are also three resident dogs, and they just had a litter of puppies! I spent every free moment strolling around the ranch.
**Service:** I have to give a special shout-out to the staff. They were incredibly warm and attentive, always greeting guests with a smile. From the moment I checked in, I felt truly comfortable. I experienced slight altitude sickness, and they immediately helped me set up the oxygen concentrator and even provided an extra oxygen tube!
**Grassland Ranch ******* Costume Experience:** There were many styles to choose from, and it was a complimentary experience.
**”Activity Land” Pet Feeding:** Scheduled feeding times for the animals were super fun!
**”Fruit Gift” Seasonal Shangri-La Fruits:** An endless supply of fruit!

Guest UserFacilities: The shower pressure was great, very comfortable!
Cleanliness: Decent enough.
Environment: The soundproofing was pretty good. Around 10 PM, I could hear some people outside shouting slogans, perhaps doing a formation drill or something. The street was lively, but all other sounds were well-isolated.
Service: Quite good. The auntie was very enthusiastic, and the young lady at the front desk was also lovely.
Xishuangbanna Jinghong Gasa Airport private pick-up: The recommended restaurants were all delicious!!!

Guest User1. **Location: Within Walking Distance of the Night Market, Yet Quiet Inside**
The hotel is right next to Zitao Street Night Market, a 2-minute walk to explore and enjoy grilled tofu or browse for Zitao pottery. It's a 5-minute drive to Jianshui Ancient City and Chaoyang Tower, and about a 10-minute drive to the Seventeen-Arch Bridge and the small train station.
The building is soundproofed. Even with the lively night market downstairs, the guest rooms are incredibly quiet, perfectly balancing the vibrant outside with a tranquil inside.
2. **Design & Instagram-worthy Spots: Jianshui's Top Photo-Op Hotel**
The overall style is a blend of Republic of China-era old mansions and French art:
* **Public Areas:** Feature a vinyl record player, vintage velvet sofas, and brass carved摆件, exuding a classic film aesthetic. There's also an in-house Republic of China-era photo studio with free qipao changes for photos, so no need to rent additional costumes.
* **Architectural Features:** Partial red brick hollow art walls (just like the building structure you photographed) offer picturesque backdrops everywhere. You can fill your social media feeds with photos without even leaving the hotel.
* **Guest Room Details:** Impeccably designed with vintage brass switches and retro table lamps. The soft furnishings are exquisite, blending classical exteriors with modern amenities like smart toilets and intelligent lighting.
3. **Hardware & Facilities: Virtually Unrivaled in Jianshui at This Price Point**
* **Swimming Pool:** A 50-meter standard indoor heated pool with stable water temperature year-round, suitable for family fun or daily workouts. It's complemented by a professional gym, billiards, mahjong room, and a spa, so you can spend an entire day without leaving the hotel.
* **Bedding & Toiletries:** Features Serta spine-support mattresses throughout and Shiseido toiletries, rivaling five-star hotels in sleep and wash quality.
* **Convenience Amenities:** Free charging stations, a self-service laundry room, and free parking, making it very convenient for long-distance road trips.
4. **Culinary Delight: Exclusive 'Free Four Meals a Day' – Experience Authentic Local Flavors**
This is its most distinctive feature: the room rate includes four meals a day, so you don't need to go out looking for food:
* **Breakfast:** Local breakfast items like Zitao steam pot chicken rice noodles, Jianshui grilled 'erkuai', plus a Western buffet.
* **Lunch:** Freshly cooked 'Guoqiao' rice noodles with a full array of ingredients, a taste approved by locals.
* **Afternoon Tea:** Yunnan-style fresh flower pastries with Pu'er/chrysanthemum tea.
* **Late-Night Snack:** Zha Jiang rice noodles, specialty snacks. You can grab an extra meal even after a late-night stroll through the night market.

5. **Soft Services**
The front desk provides free ancient city tour guides, and free pick-up/drop-off services can be arranged during certain times.
