This was an amazing stay! We checked out early from a different hotel that was a terrible stay, but staying here made the whole trip amazing!
The check-in staff was so sweet, accommodating, and friendly! They quickly brought anything we needed (extra towels, blankets, and slippers) and were very kind.
We also hired a driver for the day, through the hotel (“Mr Zhang” 😍) who was maybe the BEST part of the trip! He took us all over, got us discounts on activities and was a tour guide for them as well! He went above and beyond and we absolutely loved our time with him!
The room was comfortable for 3 people, and had “xiao du” to help with lights and curtains, and honestly provided great entertainment as well.
The location is amazing with food and shops nearby, a spa on the floor below it, and a small grocery/store on the first floor that had all the essentials. It is also very close to the Starlight Night Market, and was exactly where we wanted to be for that.
Breakfasts were wonderful, and they allowed us a late check out and stored our luggage at reception for about an hour before our taxi to the train station.
The only thing that would make the stay even better would be if the very fancy room had some sort of closure to the bathroom. 😂 We managed, and may be slightly closer friends because of it, but it would be nice…
But seriously, the whole stay was amazing and we love love loved them! Will for sure stay here again when we return to Xishuangbanna! 10/5!

The good:
- Train station pick up service was very efficient
- Good location
- Comfortable bed
- Good shower pressure and toilet
- River view is quite nice
The bad:
- Check in staff not very welcoming, didn’t tell us anything about the hotel
