The hotel is beautifuly maintained, the staff is great. Continental reakfast at 10 euros is ok but fruits could be improved a bit. I was grateful that they were willing to go find me gluten free bread. Perhaps you could add a few more items to the continental breakfast. Guests should be aware of the location of this hotel. It is a long walk to downtown and while there is a tram within 15 minute walking distance, we did not feel very safe in this area. Not recommend you walk around after dark.

De passage à La Rochelle, nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel un peu cher pour la game je trouve… Parking gratuit appréciable. Accueil agréable. Les chambres mériteraient une bonne rénovation ! Stores qui ne remontent pas (plus de sangle) Porte qui ferme mal. Menage moyen. Literie dure et coussins beaucoup trop mous. Petit déjeuner vraiment basic. 1 nuit mais pas plus ! 😂

The hotel is 10~15 minutes walk from the centre/ the pier. There’s a supermarket Carrefour City nearby that you can easily grab some water or snacks on the way back in the evening. The hotel feels a bit dated but the room is reasonably clean. Ladies should note there’s only a 2 in 1 shampoo/shower gel provided in the bathroom so bring your own shampoo and hair conditioner. The receptionist is cheerful and very helpful when I asked for informations. The only issue I noticed is it seems there’s a club nearby and I could hear the music vaguely even after midnights. Nevertheless, I’d say the stay was good value overall.

J j’étais venu dans l’espoir de retrouver le spa mais malheureusement celui-ci est fermé… Je reviendrai sûrement et espère que ce désagrément… Sera réparé. Admittedly, this is a bit of a concept, so it’s not for everyone. The rooms are tiny and minimalist, with nice-quality furnishings (Hansgrohe shower heads), but not many of them (no wardrobe or somesuch), combined with the – somewhat au courant and very cheap – coarse chipboard and industrial details. So if you’re hankering for cushy-cushy premium 5star luxury, move on. But the upsides reach from very low prices, to a very small footprint in CO2 (and other resource-use) terms, to a very pleasant international contemporary interpretation of common areas (yes, we have foosball), to an unexcitedly cool clientele. In a way, it reminded me of the early high-concept Club Med, with extremely modest rooms (often tents) and a focus on the communal experience, at times a bit essentialist. For us, less was more.

The outdoor walkways and spiral staircases are not well-lit. The rooms are very small. The pillows are bad. No bar soap is provided, but there are soap dispensers on the wall in the bathroom, by the sink and in the bathtub. There are no washcloths, however. How does one use liquid soap with no washcloth? The ugly: The toilet. Probably not a big issue if you are alone in the room, but if there is a second person, be aware that the toilet tank requires a minimum of ten minutes to refill between flushes. When asked about it, the employees at the reception desk acknowledged this was an issue in all rooms. We would definitely look for a different option next time we have to fly out of Biarritz.

stayed at the hotel (room 7) on 3rd June. Quite simply the hotel provided everything we could have asked for. We are on a touring holiday and the hotel had ample parking the room was light and scrupulously clean. the bed was very comfortable the AC just right and all in all a very good night's sleep. Breakfast was continental with a scrambled egg and bacon option. all very fresh and well prepared. Anyone visiting the area should have a look at this hotel. fully reccomended

We have stayed in this hotel before but the room was tired and shabby. Ok, so it is cheap and clean but the room was cold when we arrived and it had been booked in advance so to put the heating on should not have been a trouble. One sheet on the bed and a red bed cover, which had burnt marks on it, left us sleeping in our jumpers and with the electric fire on.Ample car parking and a friendly receptionist but the rooms need to be smartened up for us to visit again.

The apartment and public areas were extremely clean and tidy. The apartment was great for our family of 4, a really good size and everything we needed. The breakfast was disappointing. No fruit, very little selection. However my husband did go and ask them to replenish the food as the bowls with crossiants and pain au choc were empty and they did do that. There is no restaurant on site but head in the direction of the airport (3km) and there are quite a few options along the main road. Buffalo Grill. Overall a good stay.

Très bonne literie, manque peut être un oreiller supplémentaire, car celui sur place très petit. Personnel très attentif et très aimable. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. J'avais vu qu'il était un peu bruyant, pas pour nous... nous avons dormi jusqu'à 10 h 30!!!!

We traveled to Bordeaux from Paris, and thought the property was beautiful and the rooms were updated and spacious. It was a nice change from Paris. The staff was very welcoming and I had an exceptional experience with concierge that helped to secure dining reservations, set up Chateaux tastings with transportation, and recommend a boat rental in Arcachon. The local recommendations really made it a fantastic experience. The pool was nice, but we didn't get an opportunity to dine in the restaurant. We will return to Mondrian the next time we are in Bordeaux.

Breakfast was adequate but can be boring after the second time so maybe a bit of variety within the same layout and budget would be good to consider. The room price was vfm given the prices in Bordeaux and the mattress, pillows and duvet of high standards and new. The only downside was the very small room, contrary to the official Hôtel website that shows a much more spacious and pleasant room. What we all had, 6 rooms in total even if had booked the triple and the double rooms as sold, we all got tiny bedrooms that you could hardly pass through if you are a bigger than average person. When I asked the receptionist about it he very abruptly said I can refund you right now and go find another hotel if you like.I actually felt offended and undermined as an Accor client which I book a lot around the world and trust. I even felt sorry the hotel staff that have to put up with these complaints from most guests as otherwise they were all polite. I would appreciate if the hotel photos were updated to realistic photos. We stayed for four nights, 6 rooms so that was not addressed properly rather than suppressed and ignored. We expect better than this and an official reply please. I also found it very disturbing to not be able to book under another person’s name on the official Hôtel website so I had to keep all 6 rooms under my name and credit card and spend more than half an hour upon check in to sort out names and payments for each. I could have easier booked vie other third party providers but they were sold out for our given dates as the Accor site still had rooms available. Mille merci

Quiet even in the middle of the pedestrian streets for both shops and restaurants, all in abundance and for all budgets but above all in the middle of historic places and very close to the long promenade along the Garonne with its Place de la Bourse and the old stone bridge of Bordeaux! Breakfast buffet with great choices both hot and cold, breads and pastries, brioche and cakes, orange or lemon water, multiple fruit juices, and to top it off, cartridge coffees, coffee beans, teas…. and of course a tray of cannelés tradition of Bordeaux hospitality!!!

First reason to choose this hotel is that it has reasonable price and near to train station and city bus/tram stop. There are a lot of halal restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. There are also a few supermarkets near the hotel. The room is clean and spacious with a double bed, a sofa bed and small dining table. The kitchenette is equip with kettle, electric stove, microwave, fridge, pan/pot and kitchenware (but no knife) adequate to cook/warm your breakfast or simple lunch. This hotel will be in my travel list.

If it is not self-driving, the location is more biased. The heating is not very sufficient and the bathroom water is not large.

We have stayed in the hotel before as we have family nearby. We went out for dinner and came back to our key fob not working and we were unable to get back into our room. We called the emergency number on the door as the reception is closed between 7pm and 7am and there are no hotel employees on the premises during this time. We spoke to a guardian who spoke no English and poor French who told us that he would do a security round around midnight but we would have to stay outside until then - it was 8.30pm! We said that this was impossible and that we needed to get back into the room, to which he told us that it was not his problem. After a 30 minute discussion he got us to open a key safe and take another room card and said we should stay in another room for the night - obviously not a solution as we had medication in the room that needed to be taken, to which he replied it wasn't his problem and we should have taken it with us to dinner. At this point we asked to speak to a supervisor and threatened a formal complaint. He finally accepted to make the 30 minute drive to the hotel from where he was but when he got here had no idea how to open the room. It took another hour to find a solution. Although the reception the next morning agreed that this was unacceptable and the receptionist was understanding, we have decided to go elsewhere and we are yet to see a reimbursement for this terrible customer service.

The location of the hotel has nothing to say, next to a large market there are various snacks nightlife, there should be fresh seafood early; there is also a wine city, you can visit the red wine production process / taste different wine. The queen bed room we stayed in was very high in the room, and it was very comfortable even if the room was not too big to sleep. The first floor has the second and third floors and is very quiet. The room was very clean, the sheets were changed, and the bathroom was very spacious. The public area is very good, not like other hotels flashy. There is a puppy area, a photo booth, especially a large terrace outside with sofas and lounge chairs, which is great. There is also a big screen watching the game. Public areas can eat and drink, many guests are chatting here. The front desk service was very warm, the English was very good and the experience was great.
