"The room was quite spacious with an expansive view and very quiet. Sitting on the balcony sofa, listening to the sound of the waves, I could just space out and watch the sea, forgetting all about time – it was incredibly relaxing. You can walk straight to the beach directly from the hotel with your room key. The hotel breakfast wasn't super extensive, but the food was delicious and the coffee was great. The hotel staff were very friendly, especially the concierge service which was always available and very reliable. The hotel is also conveniently located, just a 5-minute walk to the commercial street with plenty of dining and drinking options."

"The hotel is definitely showing its age; there's no view of West Lake at all. Whoever said this was an international hotel clearly hasn't been here, it still feels very local and dated. The breakfast wasn't as amazing as some blogger claimed; it was more about quantity than quality. The swimming pool, however, is quite good and offers a view of West Lake."

"Located in Huizhou's Jiangbei CBD, the Renaissance Huizhou offers a sky lobby on the 29th floor and guest rooms from the 31st to 48th floors, providing stunning panoramic views of both the Dong River and West Lake. The rooms are spacious with comfortable bedding, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unbeatable vista. Dining options are abundant, with the Cantonese cuisine at Wan Li Xuan and the BLD buffet both enjoying excellent reputations. The hotel also boasts a heated swimming pool and a 24-hour gym. Service is attentive, and the executive lounge offers a great experience. While the hardware may show a bit of age due to its years in operation, the overall value for money is high, making it suitable for both business and leisure travelers."

"It is a nice place to stay. The staffs are nice and helpful. The park nearby is beautiful and easy to go. Unfortunately, we can’t get on boat to see the show which is held on the lake coz of bad weather."

"The apartment is quite large. The washing machine with dryer is ready to use immediately, and it has most of the household essentials. The hairdryer is also powerful enough, as I have a lot of hair and rarely wash it outside. There's also a super-sized TV; after watching it, I'm thinking of buying one myself. Some of the lights are smart, turning on as you walk by, which is very convenient. All the air conditioners are quiet and cool quickly. There's only one elevator on that floor, and I'm the only resident there, so I don't see anyone else."

"The hotel room is ok. It is understandable that it is a little worse than the pictures. However, the bathroom looks like a remodeled old hotel. The bathroom has not been changed. The water flow in the shower is not very comfortable. The banana given was broken. The first time I stayed in a hotel, the washing machine was placed in the room. I thought I entered an apartment when I entered the door."

"I recently stayed at the Stay China Overseas Hot Spring Resort in Huizhou, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A special shout-out to Mary, who went above and beyond for us. She kindly took us by buggy to a restaurant outside the resort – such thoughtful service that made our stay even more enjoyable. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. Everywhere you look, there’s something lovely to see – lush greenery, tranquil paths, and a real sense of serenity. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. I must have taken a hundred photos; every corner is picture-worthy. The outdoor hot spring areas are fantastic – plenty of pools to choose from, all well-maintained and set in a peaceful natural atmosphere. One more highlight: the hotel restaurant staff were extremely kind. Even after the restaurant had closed, they allowed us to heat up our takeaway food. That level of genuine care is rare and much appreciated. If you’re looking for a calm, beautiful getaway with truly heartfelt service, I highly recommend this resort. Thank you to Mary and the whole team for a memorable stay!"

"The soundproofing is terrible. Even with the windows closed, it feels like they're not closed at all; every tiny sound from the street outside is crystal clear. The TV channels buffer terribly; it freezes for two minutes out of every five minutes. The breakfast selection is extremely limited, and on weekends, breakfast closes at 10:30 AM, but by 9 AM, there's nothing left, and they don't restock. It's unbelievable. All that fancy butler service is useless; they should improve the breakfast service and get better soundproof windows. The only redeeming quality is the cleanliness; there are no unsanitary corners."

"The room was spacious and clean, and the two front desk staff were very welcoming. We brought our child to Huizhou West Lake for a trip, and staying here was very convenient. The breakfast was delicious!"

"The room is very large, clean and hygienic, and the surrounding environment is also very good. There happened to be a wedding downstairs, and the back garden is very beautiful and romantic🌹. The hotel service is also very good, and the attitude of the front desk and floor service staff is very good. The only shortcoming is that the room air conditioning should be central air conditioning, because our room is relatively large, and the air conditioning hole is just facing the head of the bed, so I have to turn my head to sleep at night"
