4-Star Hotels in Pest, Hungary

I chose this hotel for a layover in Hungary, and my overall experience exceeded expectations. It's located 4km from the airport, with a free shuttle bus for convenience. The rooms were clean and well-arranged, and the hot water supply was stable. Breakfast was plentiful, and the service attitude was excellent. The hotel environment was tidy, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Overall, it offers great value for money.

What stands out about this hotel is its high standard of cleanliness and excellent sound and thermal insulation. You won't hear any aircraft noise (an important consideration given its proximity to the airport). Nor will you hear the air conditioning system, as if you let the AC cool the room before bed, it will stay fresh throughout the night without needing to be on. It's an excellent option if your flight arrives late, as it's just 250 meters from the arrivals terminal exit. There's a covered walkway, so no transportation is needed. This way, rest after your flight is almost immediate. The buffet breakfast is superb. There are four sections: hot dishes (scrambled eggs, bacon, beans), pastries (including gluten-free options), dairy products, and fruits, and finally, cold cuts and typical Hungarian products. These are complemented by a bar area. Everything is meticulously maintained, with dispensers to prevent product exposure (refrigerated butter or individually dispensed jams). Truly enjoyable. I really liked the room details and the sustainability policy. They offer filtered water in the hallways leading to the rooms, and there are separate recycling bins. The reception service is efficient and very friendly. They also display flight information on a screen.

For sure, the hotel is in general nice. Very big Pool, nice Spa area. The room sizes are well (25+m2). Furniture are simple, plain usefull (about Holiday Inn style). Size of cabinets good for a 2 weeks stay with 2 persons. I liked the relatively big work desk. 2 armchairs and a small round table for your comfort. The bathroom good. Just thr hose with shower head was too short for tall people. Cleanness was good. But, be aware,you need to ask for room cleaning. They do not do automatically. This hotel mainly is for vacation/ family vacation. So, there als is a kids play room. What I did not like so much, eas the dinner. It was very Hungarian style. Means, a lot of meat and heavy food. I was missing more vegetables. Cooked or fresh, but not so much pickled. On other hand, breakfast has been great! Parking at the hotel is free of charge. And the parking lot really is big. Over all best place to stay in this area.

I would like to share our wonderful experience. We stayed for just one night, as it was very important for us not to miss our flight. I was traveling with my 6 year old daughter. She really wanted a room with a balcony, so we changed our booking and took one. Even though we were tired, we went to enjoy the swimming pool and sauna, and later had dinner at the restaurant with amazing live music. The service was excellent, the food was really good, and the staff were very polite and welcoming. Breakfast was also very good, and my daughter ate an unbelievable number of pancakes))) Thank you so much from both of us. And I also really loved the design of the hotel, especially the pond in the inner courtyard. It creates such a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. Everything was amasing. Thank you!

Positive aspects: The cleanliness was superb. There was a varied and clean breakfast. It's a nice and elite hotel with friendly staff. Here are some things I think a hotel of this quality should have, but doesn't: There were no slippers, paper cups, plastic bags, or kettles, which are all standard amenities in a hotel. Slippers were sold for cash. If these were provided, the hotel would be a complete hotel.

Very elegant hotel which also contains a seniors retirement home. Food was good, room was enormous with a kitchen in it too. Three disappointing issues: 1. The room airconditioner (room 211) was inadequate, so the night was hot because of that. 2. The bed was too soft and also a bit squeaky. 3. The shower head was too harsh and also leaking. No adjustment was available. Nice hotel but has some issues.

The parking spaces are narrow, the air conditioning in our room was very noisy, and the rooms could do with a renovation in my opinion. The price-value ratio was relatively good, the staff was nice.

The staff were friendly, and the facilities were new and clean. The quiet environment and lush greenery were wonderful. Excellent value for money.

The food in the hotel is not bad, but it is a bit expensive at NT$1,000 per meal The menu has appetizers, main courses, and desserts to choose from. I think the best one is the salmon white sauce spaghetti. Europeans make spaghetti delicious no matter how they cook it.
